Is there a link available for tonight's video interview with SY? I was not able to watch it live.
TIA!

Two things tonight as I catch up -

I have never heard a parent stick up for their adult daughter over their own granddaughter. NEVER.

Let alone when that baby girl is missing. Good God.

Also - I bet that Relisha never got to play with her tablet at all. Those greedy 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 adults in her life probably hogged it away.

OK I finally watched this interview.
A waste of time. I cannot believe these people are still going on TV. I guess they figure they gotta keep CYA for themselves.
Amazing. No tears, no pleading for her daughter's safe return. Refusing to implicate the absconder KT - she won't say one bad thing about him.
Blame the shelter, blame the school, blame the GOVERNMENT???? She's been living on the government her whole life!
Completely flat affect. It appears she has a pretty low intelligence level.
Now she says she never gave the child to Tatum. "Relisha was always taken from somebody else's house." SO DOES THAT MAKE IT OK????OK TO LET YOUR CHILD GO "STAY" WITH ANY OLD BODY?
I have never in my life seen a missing child's case with so many disconnected family members, the "mother" takes no blame in spite of the fact it was her child and she was totally responsible for her (I have no idea where the bio father is in all this. Apparently not involved)
What the heck? Grandma taking up for irresponsible daughter, janitor/"friend"/pedophile Tatum, and no remorse or sense of responsibility herself?
I am done with this group.
They should all be arrested for obstruction of justice. Maybe the threat of long stint in jail will jog truthful memories

For some reason, this particular missing child has garnered the attention of millions.
But you know, there are hundreds of missing children right now not getting this attention. It boggles my mind.
IMHO, this gang did not expect Relisha to even be missed -just one little anonymous homeless girl, neglected, no stable environment. I think they were blindsided by all the publicity, believing no one would notice her absence. They thought they could bull$hit the system with fake medical notes, pull the flip flop that she is here or now she is there, nobody would follow up and eventually would forget about this child.
now they are stumbling and fumbling to make up coordinated stories, covering for their lies, passing the blame and throwing off investigators. They were not prepared for the onslaught of media and having to answer the questions.
I believe, though, the murder of AT and KT's death threw the missing child case into a higher gear. Had Tatum quietly made off with the child, the school/shelter/social workers would have been told Shameika gave permission for the child to live elsewhere, etc. - Relisha may just be gone like so many other children.
Hopefully, some good will come of this such as more intense investigation of child trafficking, due to Relisha's story.
And I believe she may still be alive somewhere.

You are completely correct.
Also Ron Cummings.
Forgive me.

Guess I meant in the "real world" we live in. Where our parents taught us that you are guilty until proven innocent!!
(And you'd still get whooped just in case!)

When asked by a reporter (WUSA9) about the last time she saw Relisha, SY said, "It was here, I did her hair, I brought her some Jordon's, 2013 Jordon flights..." She and her mother are very detailed about objects/things.

Interesting isn't it! They know when accidents are, they know when they bought shoes but they don't know where this child is!!!!!

Looks like KT (Karl aka Kahlil) does have roots in Oxon Hill, as did/does RSL, and they apparently shared the same address, maybe at different times, but on Spokeo they are both listed as related to the same address. Chester St was KT's address, in 1997, when he was arrested on a felony warrant out of Virginia.

Here is a goldmine of addresses that show that KT has shared two addresses with his sister and RSL... the Chester St and the Pond St addresses.

Here is her obit:http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/washingtonpost/obituary.aspx?pid=158382554
The church was in Suitland, MD
Lots of names to ponder in the obit, too.

I keep wondering if Tatum did bring Relisha back on the Saturday before her birthday. I hadn't heard this before but the neighbor has no reason to lie. And, maybe something happened to Relisha on the family's watch:
http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?id=9474794

FBI agents went door to door on N Street in Southeast at Tatum's apartment building. During the investigation, WJLA-TV reports, a woman who was in a relationship with Tatum was found dead in an Oxon Hill, Md., motel, prompting the Amber Alert.

"She didn't look to be in any danger, so I just came on in the house and left," said Tatum neighbor Nicole Wilson, who lives beneath Tatum's apartment and told FBI agents she saw Relisha for the first time Saturday.

"Saturday they were leaving the building," Wilson said. "I didn't think nothing of it."

IMO I think it could be possible. With KT paying attention to Relisha and if something happened to her at home, what better way to deflect blame than to blame it on the janitor, esp once you heard that he killed his wife.

I'm going to bed tonight praying that baby girl Relisha is found safe tomorrow

And that tomorrow is the day that the adults in her family all receive matching silver bracelets.

One last question -

In the interview tonight, were Shamika's eyes of normal size since she didn't cry?!?!?!?!??

I can't get over the fact that SY keeps reiterating the brands of shoes etc that she manages to consistently purchase for her children. I understand the cultural "necessity"— people of the lower socioeconomic tiers will often overcompensate with minor belongings, often at the expense of objectively more important needs. The result of a materialistic, appearance driven society, where being "outed" as poor can have very negative social consequences. Not to excuse the behavior in any way. And all JMO.

What gets me about this is that, according to her, it's the reason for her being such a great, providing mother, that only G-d can judge. Yet she allows her only daughter to go in to school looking so unkempt that a non-teacher has to straighten her up in the bathroom before class.

Just unfathomable.

Yup, even in photos on SM, can't stop to wipe noses before taking a photo. Makes no sense to me. I use to have a wash rag, or baby wipes handy, because they had either just eaten, or playing in dirt, or something everytime I wanted a photo. I know you can't keep kids clean at all times, besides, what fun would that be? But they should have baths, and clean clothes before having to interact with their peers.

I was sitting here smiling at how well Relisha's yellow outfit looks on her. My daughter is pale skinned, blue eyed. When she was in preschool, I had dressed her in this adorable yellow shirt. Teacher took photos that day. When I got the photos, I was so upset. I didn't realize how bad that yellow looked on her pale skin, and made her look ill. Made it look like she had circles under eyes, and just more pale than usual. I vowed to never buy her yellow again. She's 18 now, still no yellow. :D

Yep. Parents should be wiping the dirt off their otherwise clean kids because they were playing too hard after the rain. Not shrugging it off, and continuing to do so even after it's time to pick them up from school, yet they can't be damned.

I don't know how not to seethe when I think about this. I don't know how to channel the disgust, beyond praying extra hard for sweet Relisha, who should've been raised by people with enough moral compass to meet her innocence and spirit at least halfway.

I personally can't understand the photos of the children flashing gang symbols. I would think this wouldn't be encouraged by most parents. :dunno:

I wondered about this myself. When I saw the photos of the sweater and the pretty flowered dress said to have been purchased by KT for RR for Easter back in November (I think it was really bought for a Christmas dress, but they are saying it is Easter for some reason)...it made me think perhaps when they do find RR she will be wearing the dress and sweater or have them with her because her family indeed knows. How interesting they would bring out the dress photos for the media and even tell what kind of bag the pieces of clothing would be in if found.

What if something happened to RR when she was with KT AND some of the family then KT helped dispose of her? Possible? KT was already going to be in trouble for so many things and it would explain so much.
