Police search for missing D.C. woman last seen Thursday
WASHINGTON - D.C. police are asking the public for help finding a woman who has been reported critically missing.
The Metropolitan Police Department issued a critical missing alert Saturday afternoon for 48-year-old Shanon Johnson. She was last seen on Thursday morning around 9 a.m. in the 1700 block of E Street in northeast D.C. She was reported missing on Friday.
Johnson is described as a black woman with a medium brown complexion who is 5'8" tall and weighs between 160-180 pounds. She has brown eyes and long dreadlocks. It's not clear what she was wearing when she was last seen.
Anyone with information on Johnson's whereabouts is asked to call the Metropolitan Police Department's Youth and Family Services Division at (202) 727-9099. You can also text them at 50411.
