"Randle confessed to physically striking (the child) with a belt approximately 15-20 times about her body during the daytime hours on Monday," the charging documents state.

Randle said she and Britten tried CPR but realized the child was dead. At that point, the charging documents state, Randle and Britten put the child in Britten's vehicle and drove around for a while before returning home and putting the child inside a suitcase.

Maryland authorities charged Randle with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, assault, reckless endangerment, child abuse resulting in death, neglect of a minor, disposing a body in an unauthorized place, failure to report a child's death and conspiracy. She is currently being held by New Castle County Police on a $1 million bond for a charge of filing a false police report.

Cecil County State’s Attorney James Dellmyer said negotiations are underway to bring Randle back to Maryland through the extradition process.

“Our team of prosecutors is currently reviewing all the evidence, and some or all of those charges will be presented to the grand jury,” Dellmyer said.
Police officials have not said when that extradition will be taking place.

I had to read the article a few times to make sense out of it. MOO is that Britten is deeply into this conspiracy. Why else did he take the body and dump it? When reading the article it sounds like Randle dumped the body, I think that the article is poorly written. It muddies up the entire conspiracy.

That being said, I don't understand people who beat children.
