They have tried to confuse us with these phones and sightings. I have to blank it out. AFAIK, her grandpa's phone should have been working. I am not going to start up this cell stuff but I doubt she could take her gpa's phone and transfer service to an account that is being red lined for non-payment. I still say that phone was working. She got the phone in case her service was shut off. Can't see DB EVER w/o a phone.

If anything was transferred it was probably her to her Dad's acct. DB lies. Has anyone noticed? :waitasec:

My thought on the cell phones is also a simple one. They were thrown in with Lisa just to perhaps make it seem like a stranger came in. I don't think it needs to be really complicated either. just an after thought by DB to try to make it look more like a stranger had been there.

I don't really believe that it matters much as to what medications she takes when. I think that this is a lot simpler than many are making it out to be. I think an accident happened and DB did what she did and she has been lucky so far. I don't think that there were any brilliant devices or actions. I don't think that this was a planned thing. I think that whatever happened, happened, and so far it is working and she hasn't been arrested.

That's usually the way it goes, except for the accident part.

The meds do matter and it tells about her psych profile and it also should be factored in if she really was drinking. If she got frustrated and lost it, the defense will be booze or the meds or both.

I am curious to find out what Oriah or SarX says about cadaver dogs being able to hit on vehicles IF a 'newly' deceased baby is wrapped in plastic and put in a sealed container, and only in the car for 5 minutes or so. Just wondering.

Here's what Oriah had to say.

I disagree, however, that a properly trained HRD dog would not alert to HR scent, even if in a container of most sorts- especially if placed in another container such as vehicle. Transfer and everything.

Hi Sherbie. just using your post as a jumping off point, did DB say she took her meds that day at all, and if so at what time? anyone have a link saying she mixed the two?

Found it...finally:

http://video.insider.foxnews.com/v/...e-asks-if-they-sold-or-killed-their-daughter/

Around 2:20 into the video, DB says she takes an anxiety med and had taken one the morning of that day. So according to what she says, she did not take it simultaneously with alcohol, and she claims she had taken no other meds/drugs that day/night either.

Sorry that took so long to find...unfortunately, I'm no askfornina (most awesome link-finder/curator ever!). :)

I heard it. But it means nothing to me other than a guilty person saying things that they think that others want to hear.

Ya, that's my take on it too. DB was rehearsed and versed imo. She knew what to say and when to say it.

Right now, all we have is speculation because no one in that house is saying anything. Why aren't the grandparents out there? When they stopped talking, so did Deb's family. JI's family wasn't ever involved to my kge.

What I meant that "didn't matter" was what medications were taken and when. It's hard to look ahead and imagine the defense using this excuse, but if it means that DB will finally be brought to justice, I'm all for it! :)

When you figure out who did the disposing, it helps form ideas on where they put her.

You take their daily habits and comfort zones with a little bit of gut instincts and sometimes you get lucky. Somebody like casey A should have been a cakewalk. They were mislead...thinking they searched there. Caylee had to be close to home, if not in the backyard, very close.

So this would mean that she hid them and the baby this good in 15 minutes as such KCPD and the FBI couldn't find them. The last phone ping within 1/3 mile of the house was about 15 minutes before Jeremy got home. This would mean that she did this, remembered to take batteries out of the phones, got back and got rid of all evidence in less than 15 minutes.

I'm sorry, I'm always looking to profile. Others may not get what I'm saying or why but I usually have a reason and it is usually to get a picture. Jeremy is so difficult due to no information. BUT there is some.... this distance with his family, etc.

Most of the disposal preparation could have been done inside the home. The river is only minutes away by car, correct? Couldn't she have driven to the river and back in a short time. And maybe she didn't take a cell with her at all anyway.

I'm still not convinced where the phones were. When I said basically that they were "out with Lisa," I meant as in DB grabbed those and did something with them, not necessarily that she put them in the package with Lisa. She had 3 1/2 hours to do this, not 15 minutes.

What is your theory on who took the phones, where they were taken and why?

Bill Stanton sure gave some info. At least it is out in the open that the benefactor is connected to the family.

Oh shoot, now I have to check out the benefactor and try again for the connection. To be this well-connected is quite interesting. She could have called her family to get her cell bill paid.

Couldn't be that Tacopina fabricated the secret benefactor and massive reward for ATTENTION since no proof is required that the money is available for such a reward. LOL.

Jeremy's family has been taped on multiple occasions, during many events, being very vocal. His dad is taped attending every vigil. He is also taped at Penguin Park at Edith's other gatherings. There are many other things he has done, but not on tape for proof. Many, many instances on tape.

bbm = I LOVED the Waltons ~ but I don't think anyone believes that people are 'that' good in this day and age. I don't think the majority of people would even think twice about their marital status. Actually in all my almost 50 years, I have never, ever seen it questioned so vehemently as I have her on WS. I know doctors and lawyers and teachers and bankers and ceos that leave one marriage and 'immediately' live with someone else. It might be unfortunate, but it has def. become the norm as opposed to the odd. Divorce can be expensive and not everyone wants to remarry. I don't think it has anything to do with status or character, it's just a new convenience.

Night John Boy ~ where ever you may be :)

I get a kick out of my Canadian and Australian friends here on Websleuths that grew up watching the same TV shows that I did.

Anyway, I'm not sure how ones marital status effects ones proclivity for harming a child. Maybe I'm missing something.

  • #697
Yes, especially when she says in the same interview that she always puts her children "first." How are they "first" if your so drunk you can't remember if you've checked on them or not?

You're right! She can't have it both ways. It's more likely a 'possibility' she checked on the children when she began drinking. Not so much after over drinking.

imho

LE misled themselves by thinking they already searched there?

This keeps being quoted but it does NOT answer the question that i presented. It talks of a baby in a container, put into a vehicle (being the other container.) It doesn't address layers and layers of wrapping and sealing into several layers of containers. It just doesn't.

Wow. No need to get excited. A sealed container can function the same as or better than layers of wrapping as you describe. I guess you should wait for a response from Oraih or Sarx. Good luck.
