Wait...how is the statement below actually confirming they weren't compensated? Stanton only says "to my knowledge." Is that actually considered confirming that they weren't compensated? Because I would think that to confirm it wasn't, we would need a more reliable source...the station or Dr. Phil? I could see that as confirming that HE doesn't know of any compensation.

It doesn't. That's why we should probably follow nursebeeme's notice and not discuss payments for the interview until it's a known fact. But if anyone wants to take a chance go ahead.
