Deborah Bradley & Jeremy Irwin - Dr. Phil Interview - 3 February 2012 #2

Wait...how is the statement below actually confirming they weren't compensated? Stanton only says "to my knowledge." Is that actually considered confirming that they weren't compensated? Because I would think that to confirm it wasn't, we would need a more reliable source...the station or Dr. Phil? I could see that as confirming that HE doesn't know of any compensation.

http://www.kmbc.com/news/30373866/detail.html

"That's a horrible way to look at something," Stanton told KMBC 9 News in a phone interview. "To my knowledge, there was absolutely no compensation. All they want is the return of their child."

It doesn't. That's why we should probably follow nursebeeme's notice and not discuss payments for the interview until it's a known fact. But if anyone wants to take a chance go ahead.

Is it possible, that the man with the baby walking around was "someone" who wanted to be seen with a baby. Is it possible that it was staged to look like a man walking around with Baby Lisa, but in fact had a baby doll? IDK, they may not be that smart to think of doing that to convice the public that there was a kid napping, but you have to ask the questions....

<modsnip>

What exactly changed? To me, nothing new was revealed on Dr. Phil that I didn't already know.

Was it the lights issue?

Looks like they're in for the long haul. Nobody fell. Where do you go if you don't fall off the fence? Do you guys get beer and stuff delivered up there?

What are posters on the fence about? There are a few scenarios.

New photos being put up on Dr. Phil show, newborn pictures in the hospital with Dad Jeremy and Mom . . . Jeremy said "she was perfect" . . . . "I was hysterical" waiting out in the hallway during c-section . . . (WOW what would this guy look like if he was hysterical?) I am sorry but these new pictures do not help me find this baby!!! These pictures feel self serving to Deb (to me).

"Look @ what she needs" . . . (feels like she is trying to say what she needs to but she didn't quite pull it off previously when talking IMO) . . . "we are dying here it's been over three months (interesting verb used IMO) . . . drop her off . . . no questions asked. . . we don't want you we want her". (drop her off anywhere? how about take her somewhere safe?!?)

OK my initial reactions in parenthesis. . . .

I still just do't know whether DB is involved or not, the show didn't push me to definitely guilty or definitely innocent, leaning more towards she knows more than she says.

BUT IF she's innocent, she doesn't do herself any favors. And her attorney doesn't do her any favors!! Some of the things he said made me want to spit nails. They carried on about misinfo but JT isn't above spreading that misinfo himself, and they must know what what he says isn't true but they sit and let him pass it off as facts. He's even worse than he was in the JVDS case if that's possible.
The spin was making me dizzy.

Just some of JT's own misinfo

A) JT blamed LE for putting out info about the poly, not true, it was DB and only DB.
B) JT says LE didn't look at anyone other than DB in the beginning, sooo not true, others were investigated in the beginning, given polys. They were even following tips about sightings half way across the country.
C) JT said that the blob was a confirmed sighting of a man carrying a baby
and the person was coming out of the woods, total bs.

If DB wants to be taken seriously maybe she should dump her current defense team.

JMHO

She said that on the Dr Phil Show?

Yep, asking Dr. Phil how she should respond to her other children about Baby Lisa . . . she has been waiting to take them to therapy until Lisa comes home.

BBM:

:waitasec: Now I am going to be "fair"" on this comment from DB :innocent: And ... she may have a point :

Because I can think of 12 people who live in Pinellas County who have absolutely NO IDEA how the justice system works ...

MOO ...

:Crown::highfive:

This is a tough crowd :) I have to say I disagree with Bill's theory that someone came in, took the phones, and saw the baby and took her to sell her (or for other reasons).

IMHO petty burglars do not steal babies. On that note, DB reported earlier that the door to Lisa's room was shut. So not only would the burgler grab the phones, but would have to open the door to find baby lisa -- meaning IMHO that Lisa was a target, and the phones were an afterthought. Yet the way Bill described it the persons were after the phones, and they "saw" Lisa and took her.

How could they see Lisa through a closed door?

Anyway - this is just MY opinon...don't shoot me ;)

Wait what? Why hasn't she sought therapy for herself and her boys before now? Why wait until baby Lisa comes home?

I wonder why she waited for 4 months to ask this question. It didn't sound like she has taken the boys to anyone for any type of therapy, what is she waiting for?

Thanks. Did Dr Phil offer to help arrange some therapy for the boys?

Do people who have no idea what happened believe these attorneys? They must, because if they didn't, things would be more clear, imo.

...omg. DB is crying again.

:drink:

No it doesn't make much sense. If taking Lisa was an afterhought by a homeless person robbing the house, where would he keep the baby til he was able to sell her? How does a homeless person, petty thief, look for a buyer of a baby that he just kidnapped?

Hasn't it been said that BS hasn't spoken to any of the key people involved in the case? What is he doing to investigate?

That's pretty sad, no therapy for the boys yet. I'd think they'd be hurting, even if Debby, herself, could easily transition back to "normal life."

Be on the look-out for burglars who want your cell phone, working or not, and they may decide to take your baby along with it. I'm putting that in my file.

Just saw the crib. It is about the height used when a baby is a few months old. Once they stand, that crib should have been lowered.

....Shot of the audience. They don't look like they believe anything DB is saying.
