I've noticed Jeremy's odd behavior since the beginning of this. If you watch him in the very first videos, he looks angry with DB and walks ahead of her, won't look at her, has an angry look on his face. He has leveled out now to just being completely sober faced. I think that it probably is just his demeanor, but it sure is odd. It really makes DB's overpowering and grandiose personality stand out.

I've noticed Jeremy's odd behavior since the beginning of this. If you watch him in the very first videos, he looks angry with DB and walks ahead of her, won't look at her, has an angry look on his face. He has leveled out now to just being completely sober faced. I think that it probably is just his demeanor, but it sure is odd. It really makes DB's overpowering and grandiose personality stand out.

I won't disagree there and maybe it also explains their relationship in general. Some folks require their SO's to be polar opposite in terms of personality.

O/T I hear ya. The two guys I know, one is single and one isn't and his wife I would say is average as far as personality is concerned (not to loud, not too quiet). But she loves him and their family.

Hearing now that the poor baby had an ongoing ear infection really angers me. You do not close a child up in her room,especially an infant, just because she is 'fussy' when she actually has an infection like that, imo. She was in pain and she needed comfort and attention and meds and putting her in bed at 4 and 5 and 6:40 and then ignoring her so you can get drunk is not the sign of a loving mother. imo

O/T when DH lost his ability to speak (ALS) we had the best fights over him not typing to me. I know how strange that sounds, but damn he could give me the silent treatment. The one that makes me laugh to this day

I guess I just "see" this differently. I am way shy in real life. Wallpaper not even a wall flower. But when push comes to shove I will stand up for myself and my family. He doesn't comfort her. She is obviously upset, crying and he doesn't reach for her hand. I am not saying he should become someone he is not. Nor should he change for public opinion. It is just odd how he does nothing to assist her. I am not talking about PDA, , a glance her way to reassure her. He wont look at her. Why? Nothing???? It is just odd to me.

It could also have something to do with being in front of a camera, I don't know. I have no problem speaking in front of groups of people. But, I have been filmed 3 times in my life ( by that I mean on tv, and one movie) and all three times as soon as that camera light was on, I was just like a deer caught in the headlights. Staring straight ahead, not even noticing what the people in the room were doing. I was just kind of like "uhhh, duuuhh, ummm" LOL
I am not trying to make "excuses" for JI, just showing it from another point of view.

Soooo...if SB says that all lights were off at DB's house, we have to believe that either DB turned on the lights to do whatever it is she did to Lisa OR an intruder came in and took Lisa and turned all the lights in the house on...right? Are there any other options?

That's about right, unless SB was lying. I'm assuming SB would be able to tell if certain rooms were 'on' but I'm not sure if she was basing her observation off of just looking at one angle of the house and that side of the house just happened to have no lights on.

ETA: IMO neither scenario makes a whole lot of sense either. If it was DB, why would she purposely turn on most of the lights, then pretend to be asleep when JI got home and leave them on? Why would any intruder turn lights on?

I don't think you are making excuses at all.

I may not be making myself clear. I don't know the man, But his reactions to DB are off to me. This is the mother of his missing daughter. He won't look at her.
Why? (I am not asking you to explain, just wondering out loud)

Devil's advocate: Maybe she doesn't have an overpowering, grandiose personality but is fed up with being accused of harming or disappearing her child?

It's just really hard to believe that an intruder would sneak into a house and then turn on the lamp in the front living room, two kitchen lights, accent lights and the plug in light.

It's a very small house, easily seen from the outside. If the neighbors could see if lights were on or off from the outside, if an intruder could see if lights were on or off from the outside, the intruder would have known that they could have been spotted from the outside by turning on lights. Plus adding in taking the chance that it would wake up the people inside the house.

If the accent lights are usually left on then it would have been enough light to get around for a kidnapper.

Or the main overhead lights were off and the neighbor couldn't see the lamp light in the living room or the smaller lights in the kitchen. IF the blinds/curtains were closed, I'm not sure how one would see this and know for 100% certainty. Also...how drunk is the neighbor?

I could see it happening if DB was surprised at the last minute of cleaning up and heard JI's car in the driveway. She would have to jump into bed and pretend to be asleep. And, by "surprised" I don't mean that JI was coming home unexpectedly, but that DB just basically lost her sense of time in the panic.

I do remember hearing it in a sense that SB stated it as a matter of fact - as if she had seen this often for whatever reason. Lights were on, or lights were off.
