Sunday night, her brother (DD) left to spend the night at a friends.

I haven't posted here in a very long time; but when I saw the news about Hailey, I had to come be among folks who share my sadness.

Hailey should be thinking about proms and the end of school and summer fun. She should be flirting, fending off boys, and just plain having fun.

So very sad. So unfair. So wrong. smh

Such a sad outcome, if not unexpected. I am glad she has been found and her father can properly put her to rest. What a beautiful young girl taken from this world. I hope they make an arrest soon and justice is served!

Nice to see some old friends on here that started from the beginning. This case has been a huge one in my life - probably the one I've spent more hours on and have more files on my hard drive than any other case. Now to focus the energy on hoping there is an arrest and successful prosecution.

I wonder if the neighbor's recollection of seeing Hailey at noon on the 27th is correct. In 3 cases that come to mind, there has been a flurry of phone calls around the time of a disappearance.
