I found this article and video this morning where neighbors are saying that Shawn left the state a while back to work. Really hope that LE know where to find him, just in case.

I have been gone for a couple of days and come back to the news that our lovely, young Hailey has been found. I have been following Hailey's case since the beginning. This is so, so heartbreaking. I am crying my eyes out.

I pray that now Hailey will have JUSTICE and the person(s) responsible pay with their lives. :jail::jail:

I had not heard of this case until recently. I am so sorry to hear that her remains were found. I read she said she was spending the night at a friend's house but after she didn't return home that the friend said it was never planned and she had never been to the home that night. Has it been found that she planned to meet someone? How far was her body found from her home?

I've been trying to keep up as best I can on a busy Sat. morning but I read earlier in the thread that the person who found Haleigh's remains thought that some clothing items were found and helped identify that it was Haleigh. IF SA is responsible for harming Haleigh, let's hope that those work coveralls were disposed of in the lake as well and are found.

Like you, I cant' say what I'd like to and now is not the time anyway. I am just heartbroken by this news.

I was so sad to read that Hailey Dunn had been found. On a lighter note hopeful that there will be some evidence of what happened to her, dna, or other evidence. The fact that Billie had a fight with her really always led me to believe that maybe she killed her. My sights are still on both as the perps in this case.

Agreed. Sex... and drugs in her system... I think a lot went down that night at poor Hailey's expense.

Since there isnt any tissue left to tell if Hailey was sexually assaulted , since they found clothing would they still be able to test for semen from the clothing?

I just heard the news on HLN and I got that terrible mixed reaction. There was an immediate pain in my gut accompanied by a small feeling of relief that her remains had been identified.

RIP, sweet Hailey and may those who did this to you be punished.

Just want to say that I love Websleuths for loving this child Hailey Dunn.
There are no words to console any of us or her family or LE. Thank God she has been found and will be given a proper burial. The killer did not win. Goodness did.
