Just saw Mom rise and resettle the egg. Both chicks were moving. She did not feed either chick.

In the video posted above, I was lol'ing. But also waiting to see Wobble Head move. Thank goodness he's still moving (at that time). Yes, Sassy Pants is very sassy!!!

Ok so again, Mom/Pop was in front of the camera when it came time to feed the youngins so I wasn't able to see if Wobble Head was fed, but man, Sassy Pants is fluffing up and is sooo cute!!!

Feeding time over again, and once again, mama was in front of the camera. I didn't see who got fed either but it sure looks like Wobble Head is getting stronger. Anyone else agree? This makes me so happy!!!!

BTW, how long to do they keep that nasty meat around??? Gross.

I so totally agree. I was thinking that they needed a maid to come take out the garbage. I think upthread someone posted that their sense of smell is not that great so it doesn't really smell bad for them. But I think that Pop needs to move the food to the other side so we can see the next meal time. =)

And yes, I think Wobble Head is getting a little stronger. When Mom got up, it didn't take long for his little head to pop up!!

I love how, when she's laying on them and half asleep, she'll kind of her head to the side suddenly because they're moving around underneath her. Kinda like, " What are you guys doing under there?? Sit still!" Hehehe.

I wondered that too. Can they continue to eat off of it until it's completely gone? Or does it get to a point where it's bad for them?

My guess is both babies are getting food judging by the amount of food torn off this morning, I would think that was more than just one little bird would eat so fingers crossed!

I think both the lil ones are going to be just fine. Usually the mother won't feed a sick baby. I'm not sure - but I think some will even kick them out of the nest.

Both parents have been feeding and caring for the littlest one - so I think he's gonna be just fine. Just like with our kids - no two develop at the same rate. With that I haven't been the least worried about our "wobble head". He may turn out to be the biggest and the best!

Wish that third egg would hatch.

I have heard of parents kicking a sickly bird out of the nest too. That's so sad but I guess it happens. I think they'll both be fine too. Yay!
