I would think they'd have to provide JAC with the bill part in order to get paid...or do they just get a lump sum of money and work off that? I'm thinking they always have to submit bills(as we've seen in the doc dumps)...so not sure what kind of finagling they can do with that. As far as the experts are concerned...isn't that a matter of course? If they've gone over their PI hours...couldn't someone just step forward and say they're providing their time pro bono? What am I missing here?

Oh well, It was fun while it lasted, thinking Baez finally had
some explaining to do. I still keep hope alive that the day
will come.

Could this motion also have to do with the Deadline for the State to Depose Defense Expert Witnesses..and the fact that Baez told Judge Perry last week(in the 11 min. telephone hearing) that the Defense Expert has completed testing the hair samples..

Okay I just read a State Motion dated May 14 2010, Order Regarding Depositon Schedule and Motion for Extension of Time to File Depostion Schedule

The SAO says that the State understands that depositions of Defense Expert Witnesses be completed no later than February 28 2011...but listed experts (Dr K and Dr Lee at the time of the motion) had not yet completed there examination of the evidence..that State asks for an extension to file a Depo schedule for those individuals. Such schedule will be filed within 10 days of notification that the expert has completed his work but in no event later than November 30, 2010.

Since the JAC already has predetermined fees set, why would Jeff reference to his motion in camera responses if the defense has objections?????

And I for one, along with many others here, would like to know what the tests results were that JB and crew found when they re-examined the evidence under the watchful eye of the sheriffs dept. Let's not forget, this happened exactly at the time period JB was caught cell phone talking with Robyn from her prison. Everyone dropped this ball and went with that piece of media carp.

Oh, and just exactly WHERE is that missing July08 LE interview with CA that was released to JB back in July 10 but not released to JQ public????

Dont think that is it. But thanks anyway. Besides, that info about Blanchard Park had been all over the media, so there isn't the need for JB to hide it. And although CA can talk a storm, part 1 and part 3 were lenghty interviews, I suspect the missing part 2 is just as lengthy and contains more than just a reference to Blanchard Park. And these interviews were released long after Calyee was found. CA did talk about Blanchard Park in her depo with the SAO too.

I just re-read the Defenses' Witness List August 30 and 31 2010 and noticed that 2 Expert Witnesses were no longer listed, yet they were in June.

What happened to them? I thought Dr Huntington was going up against State Entomologist expert Dr Haskell?

Star Witness In Anthony Case Changes Tune

"A year ago, Anthony's defense produced statements from Texas EquuSearch volunteers Laura Buchanan and Joe Jordan that indicated there was nothing in the area off of Suburban Drive where Caylee Anthony's remains were later found.

Jordan later told detectives that was not his claim, and a source with knowledge of Buchanan's recent sworn deposition said her statement has changed as well."

The source told WESH 2 News that a recent deposition of meter reader Roy Kronk's son, Brandon Sparks, was not helpful to defense efforts to paint Kronk as a potential suspect. Kronk discovered the remains in December 2008.

Yes, November 30, 2010 is the deadline for listing Experts AND Penalty Phase Witnesses.
Yes, Dr H came to Orlando in July to conduct a review of the evidence, Baez even mentioned that at a recent hearing..

Dr Kobilinsky and Dr Huntington were both on the Defense Witness list as of June 30,2010
Dr H did come to Orlando to inspect the evidence.
As of August 30, 2010 Defense Witness List both names were removed. Mistakenly Omitted?
Also removed from the August witness list is expert botanist Dr Jane Brock,

BTW...that should read MIGHTY! confused...and I still am. Ok...terrible with dates, but are the witness experts who were pre-indigency off the witness list?

ETA: the experts who were previously mentioned...specifically Dr. K....he could have been paid something out of the Casey/Baez spoils, right? He didn't get involved just "because". But now that he's off the list (which he very well may not be)...we won't find out just how much he received? Please tell me he isn't another pro bono person.

Dr. Lee charged the State $8000 for 3 days work. Unbelievable!

Jeff Ashton has been asking for months about the experts and Baez removes people instead of adding them to subsequent witness lists.

Now you see them, Now you dont. Ya cant' depose them Jeff, if I don't tell you, who they are. :snooty:

Will Cathy Reichs and Werner Spitz make the cut? The only two, IIRC that examined Caylee's remains......

For a group that has "evidence" that kc is "innocent" and having "proof" of that matter----they always seem to be coy about their experts. They never want to let go of whatever---almost the mindset of being children and holding hostages in a game.

Still wish HHJP will give tell them that the apple is no longer availabe due to the rats having one to many bites from it---and they are now on a lemon and its very very sour!!!!:furious: Along with that they need to work on scheduling that long awaited Frye hearing....

I find it horrid that the State of Flordia has to keep paying over and over for this defense---out of all the money they are now doing what should have been done eons ago----(and sadly don't appear to be embarrassed about doing it this late in the game!) Looking forward to Monday and hope & pray HHJP is over it as well.....:angel:
