Apparently PM was shaken by today´s testimonies.
Because he was described as "insecure"? I don´t know.

P.S.

Anyway, he is a "crazy woman" magnet!

Deirdre is WEIRD. She formed a heart with her hands towards PM (UGH, I just lost everything for her - and remember Kim Wall´s same gesture from the last pictures of her, YUKK, DEIRDRE).
Peter Madsen responds with the same hand gesture and also signals to her to write to him.

I want to barf.

I don´t like the testimonies about the submarine and how easily the hatches couldn´t open because of air-depression.[SUB][SUP]

24 March - Day 5

Witness 1

We're at day 5 of the #SubmarineTrial. Again today, I will cover the trial live from the Copenhagen court. To keep updated, follow the case on the @SkyNews live blog (to be published) or here on Twitter #KimWall #PeterMadsen

Peter Madsen has entered the court room in Copenhagen and the first witness of day 5 takes the stand: A woman who has had sexual relations with Madsen, the press is not allowed to mention her name

The witness met Madsen at a fetish party called 'Manifest', a party for people who like bondage SM, she tells the court

Prosecutor: "Have you ever tried strangulation during sex?" Witness: "We experimented a little. We tried him putting his hands around my neck but he didn't press or anything."

Prosecutor: "Have you ever talked about snuff films?" Witness: "That could be but it was not a theme."

Prosecutor asks if Peter Madsen seemed interested in snuff films. Witness: "It was more of a fascination."

Defence attorney about strangulation during sex: "Did it seem like anything Peter Madsen was really interested in?" Witness says it was something she wanted to try, adds "I probably asked him to do it."

SATA - re the hatch evidence, I think the other evidence from the medical examiner that she couldn't have died from CO poisoning counteracts it, doesn't it? What it does, though, is show what gave him the idea for his final story.

Witness 2

A new witness takes the stand: A woman who had sexual relations with Peter Madsen, the press is not allowed to mention her name

The second witness, who has had sexual relations with Madsen, will be referred to as 'friend'

The witness 'friend' worked voluntarily at Madsen's space lab

Prosecutor asks about 'friend's sexual relations with Madsen. Friend: "You call it vanilla sex. What we have done under four eyes has nothing to do with SM and my perception is that he is not a particularly confident man."

Friend: "I sought something more transgressive and Peter hasn't been unless I asked him to."

Friend says Madsen has always been kind to her

Prosecutor: "Have you ever talked about strangulation during sex?" Friend: "I placed his hand on my neck a few times but nothing happened."

Friend: "I perceived Peter as the kind of man who did not have that aggression in him."

"I know he was in at least two different films," friend says about pornographic films, that Peter Madsen was in

The prosecutor asks friend if she and Madsen have ever been in a SM swinger club together. Friend: "Yes."

Prosecutor asks 'friend' of another woman, who also had sexual relations with Madsen. Friend says the two women and Madsen had made a deal to have sex all three, but not in the submarine, the court learns

Friend: "It most definitely wasn't a rape role play. It was primarily a meeting, that could potentially develop into something erotic."

Prosecutor is showing 'friend' pictures of texts between her and Madsen

Prosecutor: "Was it your perception of Peter Madsen, that he was very 'one or another'?" Friend: "Yes." Prosecutor: "So he could be one or the other extremity?" Friend: "Yes."

"He pursued some extremes," Madsen's female friend tells the court about him

Prosecutor shows a text from one week after Wall's death from the 'friend' to one of her friends saying: "If they hear mine and Peter's full story, they will probably be even more convinced that Peter is a lunatic."

"Peter was into anything intimate and hot, that was new," the female witness tells the court, but said he pulled away from for instance slapping and strangling

"He liked when a lot of people could be together in a free way," the female witness tells the court about Madsen's preferences

The witness describes Madsen as a person, who liked to explore his own boundaries, but says he did not seem like he was into the sexual extremes. "He was never aggressive with me," she says

Madsen's defence attorney asks the witness if she had seen Madsen act in pornographic films of violent character. Witness: "No." adding that he never showed her 'snuff films'

The prosecutor has further questions for the female witness, referred to as 'friend'

Prosecutor asks if there had ever been talks of Madsen and the common female friend tying up the witness in the submarine, the witness confirms that she has knowledge of this, but it never happened

"He has been very manic in all the time I knew him. He was never very manic around sex," the female friend tells the court adding "In connection with his work and his life and the way things worked went very fast sometimes."

The witness leaves the stand and the court is on break for 10 minutes

Witness 3

A new witness takes the stand: A man who volunteered at Copenhagen Suborbitals back when Madsen was there (Madsen stopped due to disagreement)

The witness sailed in the submarine "plenty of times", the court learns

Madsen once asked the witness to reinstall a program on his computer, but the computer wasn't easily accessible due to a password, the court learns

Prosecutor: "Was there anything on the computer that had nothing to do rockets or submarines?" Witness: "Yes." adds "As far as I remember, it was a man having his throat slit."

The witness tells the court, that Madsen had yelled at him, become aggressive when the witness did not say hi to him one time and that Madsen flipped him off as he drove by

Prosecutor: "Has he ever been violent?" Witness: "No."

Prosecutor: "How many times have you been out on the submarine?" "About 40 or 50 times," the witness says, adding that he experienced the kind of pressure in the submarine, of which Madsen has told the court

The witness tells the court, that he has no knowledge of when carbon monoxide poisoning could happen in the submarine

Prosecutor reads from the report of what the witness told the police about that the engine would have to run for 30 minutes before there was a danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. The witness did not recall saying that

The third witness of today, the volunteer at Copenhagen Suborbitals, leaves the stand

Witness 4

Witness number 4 takes the stand in Copenhagen: Kasper, a physician who volunteered in Madsen's space lab, starting in the fall of 2015

"Peter was extremely motivating and inspiring to work with. One could learn a lot from him," Kasper tells the court

"At times, he could have a dark humor but it wasn't anything I found unusual. A lot of people have," Kasper says about Madsen

Prosecutor asks Kasper, if it's true he told the police, that Madsen was fascinated by the second world war, weapons and torture. Kasper confirms.

Kasper went by the workshop on Wednesday Aug. 9, the day before the submarine sank

Kasper tells the court, that Madsen seemed sad about the cancelled rocket launch, when Kasper went by the workshop on Aug. 9

Kasper brought some friends to the workshop on Aug. 9: "I expected that when curious people came to the lab, Peter would start showing around but he was writing on his blog," Kasper says, adds "He was more dismissive than usual."

Kasper doesn't remember seeing the hose in the submarine and he doesn't see a purpose of bringing metal pipes on Nautilus "That would be trash," he says, but has seen straps on there before

The prosecutor shows Kasper the half meter long screwdriver: "Oh my, that is a very long screwdriver! I don't remember ever seeing a screwdriver that long. I don't think I have ever seen one like that in my life," Kasper says

"I could have easily said that (red. that Madsen was especially happy to show the submarine to beautiful women)," Kasper said. "It was no secret that Peter was a bit of a skirt-chaser."

Kasper one time started the submarine's engines without remembering to open the hatch and the pressure made the hatch stick, he tells the court "It was a problem, it was an element of danger."

Kasper tells the court, that he and Madsen had discussed that they should fix the problem with the hatch getting stuck due to pressure when the engines started

According to Peter Madsen's story, Kim Wall got stuck inside the submarine due to pressure, before she died from carbon monoxide poisoning

Madsen's defence attorney shows Kasper a photo of benches in the submarine where Madsen says the straps found in the middle of the submarine where attached "they could easily have been up there," Kasper says

"I had a joke with Peter that one had to ignore the best 10 percent and the worst 10 percent," Kasper says, adding that Madsen could become extremely happy and extremely angry

Kasper never noticed any violent tendencies, the court learns

Kasper perceived Madsen as an empathic person, the court learns

"If the vacuum first becomes marked, it's far more than what a person has the ability to open, without letting in air or using some serious machinery," Kasper says. Madsen has said he eventually opened the hatch after Wall got stuck

Peter Madsen, his lawyer, Kasper and the prosecutor are all standing in front of the judge looking at a picture of the submarine. Kasper explains how a vent on the submarine works

If the vent, Kasper opened to let in air, had been open while the engines were running, the submarine would have been filled with exhaust gas, Kasper tells the court

The fourth witness, Kasper, leaves the stand and the court goes on a lunch break until 13.00 CEST

Witness 7

Today's 7th witness takes the stand: A woman who worked on a documentary about Peter Madsen and his projects for about a year

"Peter was not like anyone I had ever met before so I feel like I do not have a good comparison," the female documentarist says

The witness was not under the impression that Peter Madsen was fascinated by death, the court learns. "We never talked about it," she says

Peter Madsen once told the witness: "You should know what it's like to have sex on the submarine, it's amazing," she says

On Aug. 9th Peter Madsen was talking about being alone, the witness recalls: "You're all alone in the most important moments of your life. You're alone when you're born and you're alone when you die," Madsen said on that day

"On the 10th, he was probably the most tired I had ever seen him," the witness tells the court about Peter Madsen

Madsen never mentioned anything about Kim Wall or meaning to take out the submarine later that day to the film team, the court learns

Madsen told the female documentarist that he could be a psychopath

"I think about it all the time," the female witness tells the court about Madsen's psychopath-comment as she starts crying

"On the 10th of August in the interview he talked about whether he could potentially be a psychopath," the witness says

The witness saw something sticking out of Madsen's pockets "I couldn't see whether it was his wallet, a pocket knife or what not," she says

"In the interview on August 10th, he talked about how he needed to learn to shut up because he had difficulty keeping things to himself," the witness says about the interview when Madsen told her he could be a psychopath

The witness, a documentarist who had been working on a documentary about #PeterMadsen and his projects, is clearly affected by being in court and she sobs as she explains what Madsen told her earlier on the day he took Wall out to the submarine

The witness leaves the stand and the court goes on a break for 10 minutes

Witness 8

The court is back after a break and he 8th witness of today takes the stand: Deidre King, who has known Madsen for around 14 years and had sexual relations with him

Prosecutor: "Have you ever been tied up on the submarine." Deidre: "Never."

Deidre tells the court, she knew Madsen as "a loving, friendly, empathic and very good person through and through"

"Peter is not violent, he doesn't like to hit people," Diedre tells the court

"Peter really likes to satisfy women," Diedre tells the court [passthesickbucket]

"Don't you tell me that the man lacks empathy because it is simply not true," she says, telling the court about how he has taken care of her after a violent relationship

Madsen's defence attorney: "Is it your impression that Peter practised SM?" Diedre: "If he was asked to, I could imagine he would participate."

Deidre says she was supposed to go on the submarine with Peter Madsen on Friday August 11th

Witness 9

Deidre leaves the stand, a new witness takes the stand: Andrea who worked on Refshaleøen and slept in the submarine to look after it one night during a festival in Copenhagen

Madsen wanted to try and see if Andrea could open the hatch from the inside with the engines running, but it was stuck, she tells the court

After Madsen got the hatch open, he said something like "I almost killed you," the witness recalls

Madsen afterwards went down and showed the witness how to turn of the engine, the court learns

The 9th and last witness of day 5 in the #SubmarineTrial leaves the stand and that concludes this day in court where we heard from three of Madsen's lovers, a documentarist and more. Deirdre got the message about her being the one he should have married.

Told you so.

She did....
Honestly, I got nauseous during her testimony.

Thanks, Legally Bland, for your overview!

Thanks a lot Legally Bland for all the reports.

I could not "attend" all day but what I take home from today's hearings, is that Peter Madsen was utterly aware of this specific CO problem yet let it happen again. And that, somehow, is his defense. One tends to disagree.

That man should have been locked up long time ago.

Well, killers often readily confess to lesser crimes - this just fortifies the impression of him being a murderer.

If it happened (which I doubt), it wasn't an accident.

I may be misunderstanding this as I know nothing of submarines, when the vacuum supposedly happened was the time to call for help / head for shore / do something for crying out loud.

How long could KW survive sealed in the sub? Minutes? Hours? Days?

Flooding the sub with exhaust gasses to relieve the pressure was the nuclear option.

Although it was vague, I'm going back to the evidence that KW's body didn't suffer from the effects of the heat expected. I'm leaning towards this meaning the heat from exhaust gasses.

As for Deidre... no words really. It was only a couple of weeks ago she was contemplating she could have been the victim.

Or just because a lot of it showed him as capable of a killing like this (except Deirdre of course)?
I missed this in the Sky report - the bit where one of the women witnesses apparently said she knew PM had exchanged texts with someone else about killing her for a snuff movie .
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/wor...-video-woman-kim-wall-death-article-1.3896252

Now that I've re-read the Sky report thanks to LB, it's clear this is not in it. Yet it seems a very important and damning piece of evidence, assuming it's correct.

'The unnamed witness, described only as a “mistress” per court orders, said that she had been involved with the 47-year-old, but that she was also aware that texts about killing her had been exchanged between Madsen and a friend. She said that the friend had told her, in the days before Wall’s death, Madsen had talked to her about creating a “snuff video” on his vessel and wanted her to be the victim, according to DR.
The witness said that she did not know what a “snuff video” — a video that shows someone die that may involve sexual abuse or torture — was at the time, and said that she did not think that Madsen and her friend would have done anything to her to have her end up in Wall’s place.'
