If this timetable is correct then the submarine expert must be giving evidence today or Tuesday, as that seems to be the end of the scheduled hearing - after that it's documentation and procedures, with one reserve day.

Relevance of the 'near-collision' :
Prosecutor: You testified that #KimWall died @ 22:05 & the near collide happened at 23:47. Could the submarine have been sailing itself because you were with Kim Wall? Answer: No

I'm almost glad I have to go to the dentist and will not be following it this afternoon.

PM says the prosecutor should only listen to the witnesses who say he is the most gentle of men.

On the other hand he does agree he has an interest in impaling..

I've got a free 30 minutes or so, I'll see what I can get posted. It's pure google translate, though.

He sits in the middle of the room. The judge tells Peter Madsen that, as a defendant, he has not witnessed any questions.

09:19
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The questions concern the cruise with Nautilus. Peter Madsen denies. that there has been a dangerous sailing trip.

09:21
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"We have heard that you were on a cruise ship course and my question is - why do not you think it was a dangerous situation?" Asks the prosecutor.
- But it's very simple. It has something to do with the maneuverability of the submarine, says Peter Madsen, who says that the witness from the Danish Maritime Authority was quite right in the fact that large ships maneuver difficult and small maneuvers easily.

09:23
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"It's important to know that not all recreational craft have a radio, but we all have ears. And it's normal that if you can not get in touch with a small vessel, you have to mess with the horn, says Peter Madsen.
- Peter Madsen, I'll ask you to reply shortly, says the prosecutor.
"Yes, but I have to ask myself to decide what I will answer," said Peter Madsen annoyed.

09:24
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor is now entering the cargo ship, which was also dangerously close to Nautilus the night of 11 August.
- Was it not a dangerous situation, asks the prosecutor.
"Now we just have to see what exactly happened. I see the ship approaching, and for the next 30 minutes, I recognize that they are coming closer and closer, says Peter Madsen.

09:25
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- As the ship gets closer, I recognize that I have to make room. I could never sail in front of them, says Peter Madsen, who denies that it was a distance of only 30 meters.
"I did not cross the ship's course at all, I turned off to give him space.
- I was not 30 meters in front. I was 30 meters next to it, says Peter Madsen.

09:27
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"But do we agree that it's bumpy dark?" Asks the prosecutor.
- Yes, it was dark. But I stand in the tower and sail the submarine. That's the only way I can do it in the dark, and I have full view. Better than the freighter, says Peter Madsen.

09:28
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"But Peter Madsen, you've explained that Kim Wall dies at 23.05 and this episode takes place at 23.47. Is it that you're up with something at Kim Wall, asking the prosecutor.
- No, you can not. The submarine does not sail itself. I'm on the bridge and I can stop it all and lay still if I want to.
- So if we have a witness saying he does not see you on the bridge?
"He has not been able to see me when it was so dark," says Peter Madsen.

09:30
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- Then you deny that there was a dangerous situation, asks the prosecutor.
- Yes, and I think it's important to hear what the witness said about what might have happened if we collide. The witness says that the submarine would sink, and that on the freight ship they would most certainly waste some coffee.
- The idea that a 38 ton submarine, which hit a ship of 10,000 tonnes, thus, says Peter Madsen, being interrupted by the prosecutor

09:31
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- The Danish Maritime Authority says that the sail is not wider than 300 meters, you will still reject that there is no danger to all the other boats, ask the prosecutor.
"There are ships, Jakob, that's not both." I'm sailing without lamps yes, and it's very bad sailorship, but I'm not in a place where I'm in danger of traffic, says Peter Madsen

09:32
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- In the morning you are a place where you are surrounded by traffic. If you planned to lower the submarine, ask the prosecutor.
"It was not planned, that's something I decided right there," says Peter Madsen.

09:34
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor is now discussing the reduction of nautilus, as Peter Madsen acknowledges.
He says he opens some valves.
- How long does it take for you to decide to lower the submarine to do so, asks the accusations.
"The witnesses have told me that 30 seconds pass from the tower, I go down and get up again, and then Nautilus goes down. That is very precise, says Peter Madsen.

09:36
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor now asks whether Peter Madsen does anything to make sure that he can not get into nautilus after it sank.
It rejects Peter Madsen.
- What are the reasons for mounting this on the front hatch, asking the prosecutor and showing a picture from the submarine.
- It's normal fuse of the hatch. I do not understand the question, because we agree that the tower is open when the submarine goes down. Can you explain why you ask me if I lock the back door?
- I will not explain, says the prosecutor.

09:37
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor asks Peter Madsen if he's still married?
"I'm no longer," said Peter Madsen, telling him his wife sought him in jail and told her to divorce for economic reasons.
"There was nothing with emotion," says Peter Madsen, who says he has not had contact with his ex-wife.

09:39
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor now documents an SMS from Peter Madsen to the ex-wife at 23.25, 10 August.
"I'm a little bit on adventure with Nautilus, I'm fine. Sailing at sea in the moonlight. Does not dive. Hug and hug for the misses', says the text.
"I can not remember sending it, but I know I sent one," says Peter Madsen.

09:41
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- You have explained that Kim Wall is dead shortly after 23.05 and you send it here 20 minutes after. Is Kim Wall dead when you send this to your wife?
- What would you like to answer this question yourself? You have heard my explanation, says Peter Madsen, explaining that at the time of SMS he did not know what to do.
"I think she's waiting for me on the Refshale island, so I have to write something to her," says Peter Madsen.

09:42
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- I know my wife or would be nervous. I'm not thinking of anything but a disaster on the submarine, says Peter Madsen.
"But we agree that the accident happens, you can not come down, and you come down there, and you try to get her up and anything else. There you have the profit to send so kindly a text here, ask the prosecutor.
- Yes I have. My wife means a lot to me, says Peter Madsen.

09:43
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- Do not you consider how Kim Wall's relatives have it at this time? You only think of your own relatives. You can not call for help?
"You must understand my situation there," says Peter Madsen.
"I am in a hurry, says the prosecutor.

09:44
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor asks for the time frame for the accident.
- In dive 20.35 and you get up at 23 o'clock. What are you doing down there during that time, the prosecutor asks.
"When we are down, she is very interested in the fact that we are underwater. She sits on one of the benches and closely follows what I do, says Peter Madsen.
"Can you make it short," says the prosecutor.
"You're asking me to explain," said Peter Madsen annoyed.
"Perhaps you should answer your questions yourself," says Peter Madsen.

09:45
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The court is now taking a short morning break in ten minutes.

09:57
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Then we are back after a short morning break, and Peter Madsen's explanation can continue.

09:59
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- Peter Madsen just finished what happened from 20.35 to 23.05. You say you showed her the submarine and you were interviewed. How did it happen, the prosecutor asks.
"It was a conversation," said Peter Madsen
- Did she use her phone, asks the prosecutor.
"Yes, she said she would," said Peter Madsen.
- Then you can confirm that some of your conversation was recorded on her phone and that something else was in her notebook.
"I remember that there was also a notebook," says Peter Madsen

10:01
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor now says he wants to document from a correspondence between a witness and Peter Madsen on August 4, 2017.
"You have told that this witness asked to be threatened to be motivated," said the prosecutor, who shows the correspondence on a big screen.
It causes the defense attorney to break in.
"You are bringing the case to court and not for others, so why should there be a big screen when the court can see in their folders," says the lawyer.

10:02
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The referee now takes the floor.
"Digital development has made several things possible, and it is not unusual for you to choose that some of the material is being displayed on a big screen," the judge says, who does not understand the defense attorney's protest.

10:03
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"It's supposed to be right here and if it is meant that the evidence should be run on a big screen, the defense would like to know it, so we could do it too," says the defense attorney.
"I'll just take the floor back," said the judge, who stated that the big screens did not affect the court's treatment, but that it was a service to the audience.
"No, but that's exactly my point," said the defense attorney.

10:03Comment from Cecilia
I can not look any further than 10:30 so sorry if you've got the question before. How is PM today? Does he feel pressured again?

10:03
Answer from Caroline Clante
Hi Cecilia
He seems very annoyed - especially when the prosecutor asks questions. He often answers questions again.

10:03
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The referee allows the big screen.

10:05
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor now shows the correspondence between a female witness and Peter Madsen. Peter Madsen has explained that the woman asks to be threatened by Peter Madsen in order to be motivated.
They write together August 4th.
'I tie you up and pierce you with a stepping stone'
"Then the hobby knife comes forward and I look at your throat ... where is the pulse ulcer ..", continues on the text.

10:05
Camilla Marie Nielsen
It is Peter Madsen who sends the message.

10:06
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The defense attorney would like to have the text in a context. And that gives the judge her right in. The prosecutor starts from scratch.

10:07
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"Can not you just give me threats to death, so I can work with this material," writes the woman,
'Just use your craze and keep your focus', writes Peter Madsen.
"You must be threatening Peter. So I'm scared and so I can do something, "writes the woman.

10:07
Camilla Marie Nielsen
For that, Peter Madsen answers:
'I tie you up and pierce you with a stepping stone'
"Then the hobby knife comes forward and I look at your throat ... where is the pulse ulcer ..", continues on the text.

10:09
Camilla Marie Nielsen
It causes the woman to send a picture of a woman's neck with a necklace that has a small knife as an attachment.
'Haha', Peter Madsen writes in response.
'You must get stuck in Nautilus', he writes.
"I have a (murder) plan ready, which is a great pleasure," writes Peter Madsen.

10:10
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- Can you see that it seems striking that on August 4, 2017 you write this witness, you are referring to a hobby knife asking for a pulmonary artery and that you have a murder plan ready when you're five- Six days later, accused of committing a murder in the same way, asks the prosecutor.
- Yes, with my eyes, one must say that it is absolutely absurd to have such a conversation and then go out and do it here. You have probably been inspired by this conversation in your statement. But it would not make sense to do that, says Peter Madsen.

10:11
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"But you have realized you're partying to Kim Wall because no-one else has to find her," the prosecutor said.
"But you mix two things together," says Peter Madsen.
"I do not want to share with the world that this accident has happened at the time," said Peter Madsen.

10:14
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor is now committing to finding straps in a bag on the bottom of the sea and in nautilus.
"We've got an explanation from you and after we've talked a lot about these straps, I've been looking for a picture of the place where they're stuck," the prosecutor says, showing a big screen image.
Here is a blue and orange strap tucked in the left and right sides of a cabinet / drawer at the ankle height of the submarine.
"You have explained that they must be slid down from a higher position, but when you look at the picture, it is quite clear that they can not really slip away from anything?" Asks the prosecutor.
"I can not understand that question," said Peter Madsen.

10:15
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"At this point, thousands of liters have come into Nautilus, which has been rolled around," says Peter Madsen.

10:17
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- You can see that the area where they have been tied up is in shadow from the camera's flash. And it's in the high-rise, says Peter Madsen, who has previously explained that the straps were used to clamp a ladder from the front hatch of the submarine.

10:18
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"But you have previously told in court that you have adapted your explanation as the investigation," the prosecutor said.
"That's not what I've said," said Peter Madsen, explaining that he first told something that would hide that Kim Wall had suffered. (The explanation of the accident with the lye in his head was red.) And that he had to change that explanation after the head was found. (The latest explanation about carbon monoxide poisoning.

10:20
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor asks whether Peter Madsen has attempted to adjust his explanation relative to the straps.
- It's like when you explain the first time, you get into things that fall naturally and make sense. These straps do not matter in this case, so I have not mentioned this straps, says Peter Madsen.
"It's only when the police are inquiring about them," said Peter Madsen

10:23
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor would like to read from a previous explanation by Peter Madsen about the straps. It is recorded on tape as well.
The investigator asks in the interrogation for the two straps found in the submarine.
- What are they used for?
"We use the straps to tighten things and make it crawl, for example. bottles or toolboxes, Peter Madsen explains to the police.

10:23
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- What is the blue used for, asks the investigator.
"I do not know exactly, Peter Madsen answers that time.
"I'm not the only one who handles those straps," he says.

10:25
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- There are two things you've changed since this explanation. Firstly, that these straps are used to fix a number of things - but you do not mention any ladder - and secondly, you do not know what the blue has been used to, says the prosecutor.
- I tell the investigator exactly what the straps have been used for. I mention a lot of things, and a ladder is also material, says Peter Madsen.
- But why do not you mention that specific?
"I do not think about it," says Peter Madsen.

10:26
Comment from Gitte
Why is Jens Møller there? Is it possible to support the parents? Is PM pressed? I thought he seems a bit arrogant!

10:26
Answer from Caroline Clante
Hello Gitte,
It is not abnormal that an investigator is present in court if he has worked a lot with the case. But Jens Møller has told in an interview with Euroman that he has had a close relationship with Kim Walls parents and the three are sitting together. They also arrive together to the courtroom.
I do not know if Peter Madsen is squeezed. He answers the questions, but he and Jakob Buch-Jepsen have previously had some minor controversies when he has been questioned.

10:26
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen continues to say that he did not then put those straps in relation to the case.
- When asked deeper into it, I also expand. For example, here for you, says Peter Madsen

10:27
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"But we have not heard a single witness who has noticed these straps under the benches in the fair," says the prosecutor.
"But neither is anyone who has looked up under the benches. You must understand, Jacob, that these people do not know what's going on in my head or what's going on in the submarine, "says Peter Madsen.

10:29
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"When the nautilus was built, we made sure that the ladder could be removed and I had chosen it to be removed from the benches," the prosecutor said.
"But I wonder that you do not mention the rise in your statement on October 14 to the police," says the prosecutor.
"I do not think that is unusual. It may sometimes happen that you come to mind things after some time, says Peter Madsen.

10:30
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor will now come up with some other points where he believes that Peter Madsen has changed the explanation. These are explanations of previous hearings.
It allows the defender to protest. She does not believe that the prosecutor can thus read from earlier legal books as he wishes.

10:32
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Prosecutor and defender continues to discuss life. The referee listens in the meantime.
- I think it's important to show that there are changes in the explanations. I do not think there is any doubt, says the prosecutor.

10:33
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The judge asks the prosecutor to specify whether it is a matter of documentation or a hearing by Peter Madsen. She wants to know which passages are from the legal book.

10:35
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The Defense Attorney believes that the prosecutor can not relate the explanations of previous hearings because Peter Madsen has acknowledged that he has changed the statement several times.
- The prosecutor tries to circumvent the rules, says the defender

10:37
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The referee asks for a five-minute break that she can use to make a decision. The court will therefore be lifted for five minutes

10:40
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The referee is back.
"We have discussed the issue, and we think it is documentation that must be included in the overall documentation," the judge said.
"Okay, we'll take it on April 3 and 4," the prosecutor said.

10:42
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor therefore deals with the objects that are confiscated and secured in the case. Jakob Buch-Jepsen has previously asked for computers and hard disks found in the case.
"But I do not have to ask for an old hard disk, like yesterday we filmed. It is found on the first floor of the hangar. Was it only you and your wife who came to the first floor of the hangar, asking the prosecutor.
- There were two rooms on the first floor. My wife had a strict policy that the room where we were sleeping was only her and me who could get there. The other room was definitely part of the workshop, says Peter Madsen.

10:43
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- It was her policy that upstairs was our room. Both, but especially the bedroom, says Peter Madsen.
"I had a little different policy that the front office was public domain," says Peter Madsen.

10:45
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor tells us that the hard disk was last accessed in 2013.
- It's no longer well-functioning, but your name is on it, including in the steering systems within, can you confirm it's yours? "Asks the prosecutor.
- No I can not. The hard drives originate from Copenhagen Suborbitals, and I've got them from one of those who took pictures that time, says Peter Madsen.
"I have tried to use them, but had to admit they would not cooperate with my computer," said Peter Madsen.

10:45
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- But have you used them in your time in Copenhagen Suborbitals, asks the prosecutor.
"No, I do not think so," said Peter Madsen.

10:46
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor tells you that you have found a lot of hard drives and some computers.
- Is the computer also from your time in Copenhagen Suborbitals, asks the prosecutor.
"The black computer that you have chosen not to seize, it was my own," says Peter Madsen.

10:48
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- The last thing I'll ask about is an old computer that you've given to someone else. We have heard a witness who helped uninstall a operating system. Can you confirm it, asks the prosecutor
- Yes, says Peter Madsen.
- There are some places on the computer where mutilation videos are found by people, it may be yours, asks the prosecutor.
"It may, but I do not remember," said Peter Madsen.

10:48
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"But you have not shown anything from it, so it's hard to answer," says Peter Madsen.

10:51
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- Did you have execution videos on the old Toshiba hard drive where your name is on?
"I do not think so," said Peter Madsen.
- Who should have put them on, asks the prosecutor.
- Copenhagen Suborbitals consisted of 50 people, and many of them were nerds without suffering negatively, but boy boys could find out for accidents and such on youtube. So I do not want to know that everything that is made of ugly things in the world has something to do with me, says Peter Madsen.

10:53
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor is now investigating the police's national cyber crime center (NC3).
'In the user profile' Peter Madsen 'five video files were found as well as images showing violence and killing', the survey says.
'On the path Peter Madsen file names were found indicating violence or killing'
'In the News folder, a movie was found with the name' beheading of chinese woman '- the film shows the killing of a woman' continues in the study.

10:55
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"What are you asking me about, asks Peter Madsen.
- But I want to show you a picture from the folder, says the prosecutor and shows a black white picture.
- It's a historical picture you show there. It is from a war between Japan and China of a execution. I've seen that picture in other contexts, but I can not say for sure that I've put it on my computer, says Peter Madsen.

10:57
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor now documents some other findings that the police have made. It's about a movie that was shown yesterday. It has last been accessed on March 29, 2013.
"So it has been created and gone and has never been used since," says Peter Madsen, who reads in the papers.
- It's in a folder under Peter Madsen, have you put them there, says the prosecutor.
"It's not sure," says Peter Madsen.

10:58
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen now breaks into the prosecution's review and asks him not to review the videos with content Slavic.
"I have said that I have seen some cartoon films showing some terrible things," says Peter Madsen, continuing to say that he does not need to distinguish between them or remember what he has saved or seen with others, or What others have put on the computers and hard disks that are secured in the case.

11:00
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor continues unsuccessfully. He tells us that there are several of the videos - both cartoons and real movies - that have been seen in 2012, 2013, etc.
"You want to show that there has been an annual interest," says Peter Madsen.
- No matter what you would plead for, you would see that I'm interested in it. Maybe it's three prominents of my life, says Peter Madsen, who says he is interested in everything.

11:01
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"I am a person with very wide interests," says Peter Madsen, who says he has also been interested in the gold reserves in the National Bank, how to print false money, etc.

11:01
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor continues to document. He is now talking about a video of a young woman in a bathtub that hurts herself.
"I have answered that I have been interested in many different things," says Peter Madsen

11:03
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor now asks whether Peter Madsen was interested and fantasized about a kidnapping, as a child.
- I'm glad you ask, says Peter Madsen.
"I was little when I heard about child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. And I may have said to a psychiatrist in this case that when I was little, I imagined that a woman came and kidnapped me and made me participate in a children's 🤬🤬🤬🤬 movie, says Peter Madsen.

11:06
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor now assumes that the English texts, which the police have also secured in the case. They are about spitting women. Some are about spitting taking place in a family context.
"Some of the thoughts you had as a child about child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 are something that has meant that you later found texts about spitting in family relationships, asking the prosecutor.
"It's true to me that it's what it goes beyond which I identify with. It's nothing sexual to me. That's because I feel with the victim, I think it's a shame.
"I'm not excited about this kind of thing. I can get erotic upset with some things that are completely different, but it must be gentle and nice, says Peter Madsen.

11:07
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen continues and says that the prosecutor can only listen to the witnesses who have been in and say that 'Peter Madsen is the gentliest to be with'. [BBM]

11:08
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Thus the prosecutor has no further questions to Peter Madsen, which means that the court has a lunch break until 13 o'clock.

11:08
Camilla Marie Nielsen
We therefore also take a short break in the residential area here from the city court

Camilla Marie Nielsen
We are back after lunch break and we are now waiting for Peter Madsen to arrive with his defense attorney so that the judge and the judges can also take place.

12:02
Camilla Marie Nielsen
It has now become the trip advisor. Kim Walls parents take place in the middle of the hall and now have to speak to court

12:02
Camilla Marie Nielsen
An interpreter has been told to the mother

12:04
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The judge reports that it is an unusual situation and that Ingrid Wall has to tell the truth.

12:05
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Would you describe Kim's education and when she moved home, asks the attorney-general.
"She moved home as a 20 year old, so she studied in Lund and Malmö, from there in Paris and then in London," said the mother.

12:05
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"Finally, she went to the USA and got a master in journalism," said Kim Wall's mother.

12:06
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The Attorney General asks if it is correct that Kim Wall had an address with the parents.
"Yes, she considered her old girl's room, as her base," said the mother, telling her that it still stands as it was.

12:06
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The mother tells me that Kim was always on the go.
- Was there any other reason why she was registered with you?
"It was because she also had access to health care in Sweden," says the mother.

12:08
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- What contact did you have with Kim as she traveled around, asks the attorney-general.
"It was a couple of times a week when she had access to wifi," said the mother.
- How was that?
"It was across different platforms, skype, facebook and such," said the mother.

- Has there been a difference between the contact between you and Kim and then Kim and her father, asks the attorney-general.
"I do not want to say," said the mother

12:09
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"So, is Kim Wall dear, what can you tell?"
- We heard about him in New Year 2016, and then we heard a lot about him because the two were together in New York. They also lived together in China, says the mother.
- What about Copenhagen?
"Yes, when she was here, they lived together," said the mother.

12:12
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The mother tells me that she first met Kim Walls boyfriend the day before Kim Wall disappeared.
"It was the love of her life," said the mother.
"That's what she said many times," said the mother.
- Most at lunch time, the day she disappeared. She said it was for life this time, says the mother.

12:13
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The attorney's attorney asks what the consequences the matter has had for the parents.
"It's terrible to lose his daughter like this, but try to tell," said the lawyer
- It's a whole different life after this. Whether it's when I buy milk or something else. Then I meet it all the place. It has also meant that we no longer have a privacy. Trelleborg is a small town and everyone knew who we were before this. But we are not business people anymore, we are 'the parents', says the mother.

It has now been time for Kim Wall's father to give an explanation to court.

12:14
Camilla Marie Nielsen
He now knows that he must tell the truth.

12:16
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- You have heard your wife's explanation, do you agree with it, asks the lawyer
"Yes, I am," says the father.
- So you also agree that the contact between you and kim was equal to that between the mother and the kim, asks the lawyer
"Yes, as soon as Kim left, there were messages. It was difficult when she was in China, but we talked together, says the father

Peter Madsen sits and leaves some papers, while Kim Wall's father explains.

12:16

The father says he has not met Kim Walls boyfriend the day before Kim disappeared.
- We called him 'Danes' before that. Everybody knew that he existed, said the father.

The Attorney General is now documenting a receipt from China, which is designed for the trial. It shows that a deposit has been paid and that one should rent a house in China from July 2017.
The deposit can not be refunded.
It was the plan that Kim Wall and her boyfriend would move in 15 August.

12:19
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The attorney's attorney documents a correspondence between Kim Wall and the landlord. Here she writes she is looking forward to living in Beijing and arriving on August 15th.
On August 21, Kim Wall's Danish girlfriend writes to the landlord that he does not expect to come to China for the time being because Kim Wall has disappeared.

12:20
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The attorney's attorney is now also entering into the Compensation Act. Here it is stated that there is only a claim for compensation for parents with adult children if the child has been affiliated with the place of residence and there has been a particularly close relationship at the time of death.

12:21
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The attorney-general counsel deals with some previous cases as an example. One of them is some parents who find their son killed. The son lived next to the parents, and they subsequently received compensation.

12:24
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Then the aid attorney comes to the question of the amount of compensation.
In connection with killing, it is in the region of 100,000 kroner, which may increase depending on whether death or violence is a result of violence or sexual abuse.
- I have requested 150,000 kroner in this case. And I have because this case is unmatched at all, says the defense attorney.
"It's a trauma that you have to go and wait while your child or cohabitant is found in pieces without knowing whether all the pieces are being found again," said the attorney-general.

12:27
Linette K. Jespersen
The defender must now question the defendant, but before the prosecutor has just some practical things. Among other things, a request from the defense for a further technical witness. He says that he and the defender will come together to find a practical solution.

Peter Madsen takes place in the middle of the hall so his defense attorney can ask his last questions.

12:29
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The judges again tell Peter Madsen that, as a defendant, he is not required to comment.

12:30
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"I continue where we are sleeping," says the defense attorney, who says that there may well be an overlap of questions from the end because she can not quite remember where she was sleeping

12:31
Camilla Marie Nielsen
She tells us that they last reached the days up to 10 August last year.
"The prosecutor has said that you should have protested against a search of your computer, is it right?
"No, I just had the condition that I would like to be present because I would like to protect the things that meant the work in the space laboratory," says Peter Madsen, who said he had signed a silence decree with the company Maersk.

12:32
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- So it was about business material?
- Yes, says Peter Madsen.

12:34
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- As of August 4, when you write a text message to your friend with these threats. Have you talked to her before she could use such a kind of call-threats-to work faster, asks the defense attorney.
"It was our jargon," says Peter Madsen.
"Was that something you had experienced before from her side?" Asks the lawyer
- Yes, that's what Peter Madsen says.

12:35
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The Defense Attorney now asks whether there have been changes with the submarine in relation to the original drawings that are.
This confirms Peter Madsen. He says that a valve has been removed since the first drawings.

12:37
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"This meant that our procedure in 2017 was changed because there was not this safety valve that prevented water from getting into the engine," says Peter Madsen.
- Talk slowly, because this is important, says the defense attorney

That's up to date, but I need to leave it there for a while if someone else has time. If not I'll try and pick it up again later.

The times seem to be GMT, so may be different depending on time zone.

-What happens then?
-Well there comes the agreement that she should have a trip with the submarine. It was perhaps a little late and I was a little tired, but it was certainly the agreement. And unlike Copenhagen Suborbitals, I had the submarine that I could show off, says Peter Madsen.
The agreements to sail out at 19. Peter Madsen asks for five minutes where he can ' relax and have a cup of coffee '. He must also prepare the Nautilus and turn it into the harbour.

What exactly did Copenhagen Suborbitals have to do with anything?
Other than it was constantly on his mind and still is! The rivalry, which he, in his mind, could NOT lose.
A slip of the tongue.

Peter Madsen asks that he can show a drawing on the submarine so that he can show and explain the court from it.

12:37
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The court goes along with that.

12:38
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"I can remember it without saying," says Peter Madsen.
"But I'd like to see it anyway," he says.

12:38
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The drawing comes on a big screen.
"See for once it's something that belongs to a big screen," says Peter Madsen.

12:39
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen describes the drawing now. It shows the machine room in the submarine. A number of valves have been marked with numbers.

12:41
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- It starts with exhaust gases here at the main engine, it passes through the hull. There is a corresponding system for the auxiliary engine, says Peter Madsen,
- When opening the drain valve, let the water slowly leave the place, says Peter Madsen.
"But if you open up too much, the water can run the wrong way, and we have an extra valve, says Peter Madsen, who says that the valve was scratched when Nautilis was reshipped in 2017.

12:41
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"The valve is important for the accident that has occurred because its lack means that exhaust gases can enter," says Peter Madsen.

12:45
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The prosecutor comments on the drawing and Peter Madsen is allowed to break in.
"Jakob is very welcome to ask me questions for the drawing," says Peter Madsen. [BBM]
The prosecutor now asks why Peter Madsen has chosen to draw the missing valve when it had been scrapped.
To that, Peter Madsen answers that he has drawn it because, as the rest of the court, he does not know what exactly happened to the submarines in the submarine during the accident.

12:45
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen seems to be in his es. He is cheerful and speaks loud and clear.

12:46
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- Do you remember what you're doing on August 10, asks the defense attorney.
- No I can not. I can not put chronology on, but there are some specific events on the day that I can remember, says Peter Madsen.

12:48
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The defense lawyer asks for the blog post that Peter Madsen writes on August 9th about the canceled trip to Bornholm.
It is written on the evening of 9 August.
- Can you remember what you do afterwards?
"No, but I must have been in the hangar," says Peter Madsen.

12:49
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- Do you remember if you talk to someone or do something afterwards?
- I can not remember anything from that night. Not because something traumatic has happened, but I must have been very tired, says Peter Madsen, who believes he was sleeping with his wife (now ex.) And their cats.

12:51
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The defense attorney is now considering whether Peter Madsen can remember what he did about morning 10 August.
- I remember, I'm going to go online to shop for things that are going to be in nautilus. Among other things, some cinnamon poultry because I sense that I'm going to sail in the near future, says Peter Madsen, explaining that he had agreed with his mistress that they should first go shopping and sail around with nautilus on August 11th.

12:52
Camilla Marie Nielsen
That's why he was out shopping for Nautilus, "explains Peter Madsen.
He puts the goods in the submarine.
"I'm in the submarine many times that day," says Peter Madsen.

12:54
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"Now the prosecutor has asked a lot for a green water hose. Have you come closer, if you can remember when you put it in the submarine, ask the defense attorney
"That's been the case for eight years, but I do not know when I put it down. It was designed to clean the deck and so, says Peter Madsen.
- Have you talked to the staff about it?
"I do not tell everyone everything," says Peter Madsen,
- But have you told anyone about the water hose?
"No, I do not have that," says Peter

Camilla Marie Nielsen
The defense attorney now asks for a black sleeping bag, which is also found in the submarine.
"It's not mine, but there has been a Norwegians or Russians in the submarine the day before," says Peter Madsen.

12:56
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The Defense Attorney now asks for the metal pipes found in the submarine.
"I'll throw you there on August 10 because we'd use them for a dive," says Peter Madsen.
- Was that something you had talked to others about, asks the defense attorney
"Well, we're probably a bit top-rated yet, but we had talked about it, it was just not planned with the exact date," says Peter Madsen.

12:57
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen now comes across the screwdrivers that are part of the case. Peter Madsen has acknowledged having bought them during the summer, and having taken them on the submarine.
Peter Madsen has previously explained that they should be used as marking spears for the planned dive around the nautilus. Here was the plan that they should find effects that were lost in the water around the submarine.

12:59
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The police have found nine people who have bought two of the long screwdrivers at the same time in the Car Theme last year. The nine receipts have been reviewed and submitted to Peter Madsen, who himself has designated his receipt.

12:59
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Screwdrivers were purchased once in May 2017

13:00
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- Do you also take the screwdrivers with 10th of August?
"I feel like I'm going with these screwdrivers in my arms," says Peter Madsen, who thinks he takes them down to Nautilus in the afternoon of 10 August.

13:02
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The Defense Attorney also asks for the saw, which is secured in the case.
Is that the same day?
"Yes, I am preparing some things that will happen in Nautilus in the near future," says Peter Madsen.
- Why just that day?
Peter Madsen says that he brought the saw to make some shelves in the submarine and that he would adjust the shelves down the submarine.
"It was a project that would happen the following week," said Peter Madsen, who also explains that there is a piece between the submarine and the workshop, so he sometimes went round with things to be used.

13:03
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The defense attorney now asks whether Peter Madsen can remember when Kim Wall is calling that day.
- Yes I can do that. I'm really free, and it's a beautiful summer evening, but then she rings and asks if she can make an interview, says Peter Madsen.

13:04
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- She says she would like to do it that night. I do not know her background, but she has to write to Wired. She knows a lot about the race between Copenhagen Suborbitals and us. And if their rocket is to be mentioned in an important article, then of course, too, says Peter Madsen.

13:06
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- Will she immediately, after you have spoken?
- It does not take long. When I put on, she started off from where she is - it's 70 meters away, says Peter Madsen.
The two speak at the workshop for half an hour.
- I experience her as very interested. Super enthusiastic, says Peter Madsen

13:07
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- What happens then?
- Well, there is the agreement that she will have a trip with the submarine. Maybe it was a little late and I was a little tired, but it was at least the deal. And unlike Copenhagen Suborbitals, I had the submarine that I could show, says Peter Madsen.
They agree to sail out at 19:00. Peter Madsen asks for five minutes, where he can just 'relax and have a cup of coffee'. He will also prepare the nautilus and turn it into the harbor.

13:08
Camilla Marie Nielsen
He sends Kim Wall a picture of the submarine and writes that it is ready shortly before 19:00.
- Did you talk about being more out of place?
"She was very welcome to bring her boyfriend, but we are not talking about it," said Peter Madsen.

13:10
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- What happens then?
"I remember it as she jumps up on the tower. And usually I also review the safety rules on board. I think Kim is down to see what it looks like, says Peter Madsen, who removes moorings and sails.
- It's quiet and comfortable. And we sail out through Sønder refshale basin.
"As we have left and are in a hurry, there is a man asking if he also had to come along, but we were off," said Peter Madsen.

13:11
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"On the way, we wave a whole lot of people, as I realize that Kim Wall knows," says Peter Madsen.
- Why do you feel that?
"Well, now I have to make sure I do not mix things together, as I've heard here, but I think she's telling it. She is incredibly happy. I think that, as a journalist, it must be like being on a nuclear power plant.
"We are seeing a lot of people on the launch," says Peter Madsen

Madsen strips a whole lot as they meet in the submarine on the way out of Copenhagen Harbor. There are different ships, both and others.

13:13
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen says that they are sailing towards Middelgrunden

13:15
Camilla Marie Nielsen
The Defense Attorney now asks for the submarine sailing. Among other things, they cross a cruise's course.
"I remember the passengers standing and waving to us. It was not my view that the situation was dangerous, says Peter Madsen.

13:15
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen tells him that at about 20 o'clock he starts preparing to dive with the submarine.

13:16

The court takes a short afternoon break in ten minutes before Madsen's explanation continues.

Camilla Marie Nielsen
Then we are back after a short break.

13:28
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen puts himself back in the middle of the hall to continue his explanation.

13:29
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Betina Hald Engmark continues his interview.
- You dive down, and then I understand that you are talking?
"Yes, first we talk about the dive, and then she is interviewing me," says Peter Madsen

13:32
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen explains that he drains the two ballast tanks when the submarine should rise to the surface again.
- I use a lot of compressed air for natural reasons. Pneumatic air is the buoyancy of the submarine, so as soon as I'm on my way, I start the compressors to get air in, says Peter Madsen.
"The very first thing I do is open the hood. It's abnormal to open it just, but that's because that's where I am, says Peter Madsen.
He then goes down the submarine and past Kim Wall.

13:34
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen is now asking to show his drawing to court again.
"I'm going to the engine room," says Peter Madsen.
He starts helping the engine and main engine.
- The very first is the start of compressors. Then I start the engines, but first I have to drain water. I open valve number three and partially screw valve number four, says Peter Madsen

13:36
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"Now I make two fatal mistakes," says Peter Madsen.
"What's happening is that, instead of completely opening the hull valve, I'll forget it. I also forget to open the drain valve completely. So I start in a state where exhaust can occur through the two valves. I'm just starting the engines and the compressor is jamming, so there's nothing that makes me hear that I've made a mistake, "said Peter Madsen.
"I could have discovered it quickly because I should have smelled the exhaust, but I shut the door into the engine room," says Peter Madsen.

13:38
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"So now there's an exhaust of tables and more into the submarine. But I close the door to shield the noise. I do not notice that I have left the valves, says Peter Madsen.
He walks past Kim Wall and up on the deck. He closes the hatch behind him because it is good sailor.
"And that's what I find out for the devil, I've locked myself out," says Peter Madsen

13:38
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen reports that he is not sure that the accident happens at 23.05. It may also be minutes before.

13:40
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- Then you get back the lid anyway, asks the defense attorney
"It happens that I hear the engines stop," says Peter Madsen.
- Why do they do that?
"It's my feeling that Kim has managed to stop the engines. Because the door of the engine compartment is open, says Peter Madsen.
- Do you hear her through the front hatch?
"Yes, I do," says Peter Madsen

13:41
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- You think she has switched off the engine. Can you do it if you do not know how?
"No, but I've cried to her that there's a springs that you can use," says Peter Madsen.
"It's quite terrible, says Peter Madsen, who said it seemed like a normal engine stop and not as if the engines stopped by themselves.

13:42
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"Then I'm met by an exhaust gas when I open the hatch," says Peter Madsen.
"You have explained that," said the lawyer, who interrupted

13:43
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen says that the compressor safety valve still blows.
"It partly explains why the hatch can be opened," says Peter Madsen.

13:44
Camilla Marie Nielsen
"At the moment the engines stop, air can be sucked into the submarine again," says Peter Madsen.
"Air can also be sucked in through the engine itself," says Peter Madsen.
- If the exhaust is open, air may enter.

13:45
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen now tells that the compressor valve was a safety valve, and when it first opens, it does not close again.
- Can you see it with the valve?
- Normally, it is closed and tight, but if it opens, oil is stuck so it does not close closely, says Peter Madsen

13:46
Camilla Marie Nielsen
- I just want to be sure you did not succeed in closing the safety valve? So if you checked today, it would not be close? "Says the defense attorney
- It did not succeed. So that would be, says Peter Madsen.
- But it was close closed before?
- Yes, that was it. but I can not say if it is close today, says Peter Madsen.

13:48
Camilla Marie Nielsen
Peter Madsen tells us that the exhaust gases are pumped out after the accident, which is why he can enter the submarine again.
