I caught up with today's day at court and I feel like going vegan for a while.


IMHO it is obvious that PM had been searching for a victim and failed to find one in his network. Kim Wall was an ideal target because she had not known him before, she had no point of reference and the pretext of an interview chimed with her idea of writing an article.


A good friend once said to me after a BF turned nasty:

"That movie had been playing for quite a while, and you did not know what had gone on before when you arrived at the scene."


IMHO KW probably did sense that something was off, but put that down to her fear of submarines. Since young and aspiring female feminist reporters motivate one another to cross boundaries, she pushed fear and guests aside, and accepted the invitation.

I wonder if KW sensed anything, because she was used to dangerous environments through out her travelling. She should have known what to look for. I do think that PM is a kind of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide, because as we have seen some witnesses tell, that he is the kindest and sweetest thing on earth. He have been marvelous to hide his dark sides when he wanted to, and sometimes he gave away a little to people who then thought he was just joking.

It seems that we get more of the details tomorrow, so I wont probably look until the day has gone. And then I just quick-read....

I don't think his wife is giving evidence if the prosecutor is summing up. I think the defence is going to say it could have been anyone loading and saving the videos, even his wife, based on what has been said before.

It's all about placing doubt in the judges' minds.

It is, but in practice I don't believe there can be any.

EDIT to include this link to the Copenhagen Post, which confirms that PM's ex-wife will not be giving evidence. Also it makes clear that today was not a summing up as I suggested - I should have remembered it was listed as Documents or something similar.

Yeah they probably will include the mental health-check in the documentation too.
There are no witnesses about this, so its probably the prosecutor that reads it out loud, like today.

37 witnesses will take the stand during case, 29 from the prosecution and 8 from the defense. 3/22: 6 witnesses; 3/23: 4 witnesses (+1 cancelled); 3/26: 9 witnesses; 3/27: 10 witnesses; 3/28: 4 witnesses + PM (33 witnesses so far/26 for Pros & 7 for Def.).

Based on Niner's schedule and the info posted by Moll that PM's ex-wife won't be giving evidence, then I don't think there will be any more witnesses. Tomorrow is scheduled as a 'reserve day' .

One thing I am unsure about is that I have heard the submarine engines being described as "electric" engines. If that is so then how do exhaust fumes get generated at all? CO only gets generated by fossil fuels right?

The submarine has two engines. There is a diesel engine which can only be used when the submarine is at the surface because it needs air (oxygen) to run.

Then, there is a second electric engine, and this engine can be used when the submarine is submerged.

20.43 sub dives. 23.05 sub surfaces 23.22 PM phone goes online 23.25 PM texts his wife 00.17 wife attempts to call.

When you look at these times, that's a long time underwater 2 hours 22 minutes. (Electric engines so no fumes) Surfacing at 23.05 (presumably diesel engines in use then) Then going online 17 minutes after surfacing and texting his wife after KW's death.

According to PM therefore, KW died between surfacing at 23.05 and calling his wife at 23.25. I don't buy that. I think he killed her when the sub was below the water and he surfaced to do the dismembering, disposal and clean up, then texted his wife. She was already dead when he surfaced, hence why no CO was found in the sub or in her body. IMOO.
