Detectives Confident In Case Against Anthony

The hardest thing is that I can't get back to my life. A few weeks to me is an eternity, and although all that will happen is she will be in the clink, and will be charged with something, that will not bring Caylee back. I guess I just want justice for Caylee and seeing her mother out of jail, I just cannot stop thinking about her and this case.

It's like reading a great James Patterson novel that you just cannot put down and carry it with you to the doctor's office, hide it in your desk drawer and under the pillow on your bed. You absolutely could not make this story up if you wanted to.... I have never simply sat on the computer, vascilating between 3 blogs, for hours reading in my PJs.....

I agree and always have thought that. Caylee was in the way of the life Casey envisioned and was starting with Tony (In her mind)

Did anyone else notice that Casey NEVER slept over Tony's until Caylee was already gone. She slept at Ricardos with Caylee but NEVER Tony's. She started sleeping at Tony's on the 16th and not a minute before that even though they were already in a sexual relationship.

There is something to that psychologically for Casey. Her new life had begun. Buena Vita.

I noticed that and I also noticed that Tony stated in his interviews that a few times Casey had to leave or couldn't come out because her mom told her to come home (assumably for Caylee).

wasnt this laptop acutally Cindy's? wasn't it also toted around to AL's place (and who knows where else)

I know that young folks pass laptops around. They are like community tools in an apt or home for youngsters.

a number of people could have "searched" for chloroform.

Is ANYONE worried that JG's assertion in his statement, "I'm sure I heard Caylee in the background", will cast a shadow of a doubt to a jury? I know he now says he can't be sure, but his confidence during that initial statement worries me.

Chloroform searches on Casey's computer BEFORE Caylee went missing, significant amounts of chloroform found in the trunk, Iron clad evidence that Caylee was dead in the trunk equals and screams PREMEDITATION. imho.

Chloroform to clean the decomp smell from the trunk. (This is what I honestly believe it was used for and not used on Caylee.)

I firmly believe the chloroform was used for cleaning, too. First of all, if the concentration in the air was so high, how could anyone drive the car without passing out? Second of all, in doing MY OWN web searches after this evidence was released, at first glance one might assume chloroform destroys DNA...if she searched, but didn't take the time to really read, she probably thought she could destroy all the evidence...

Yeah but why do the searches for the chloroform BEFORE Caylee went missing. That screams premeditation to me y'know.

Why look it up while Caylee is still alive if she was going to use it to clean the trunk? I believe she used it for a premeditated "soft kill".

By the way love the new avatar...

Is it an accurate assumption that when the evidence is presented to the defense team, Casey/Baez may change their story and go the accidental route for a lesser charge?

They might try, but it will be difficult to prove. It is hard to claim accidental death when Casey was out partying for 31 days without a care in the world.

see this is what Im saying, just between us we have created enough reasonable doubt. That worries me alot... Hopefully Wesh source is as reliable as all the other BS sources they have come up with.

Does anybody know the stats of whoever would be trying this case eventually, meaning wins/losses? What types of cases he has tried, etc.

it is a "she" and she is pretty darn good. don't know her stats though

Am I the only one who wants to know exactly how this all happened? I mean, LE obviously will tell how the body was positioned, if in fact they can tell that, but their theory and the truth could be totally different..Without a body, and even if they do find one, I dout they would be able to tell with 100% accuracy what happened, unless it was blunt trauma..
I believe she will go down for this with all my heart, but I really would like to know exactly what happened to this baby..then, I think along with a proper burial, I can be at peace with it..

I think motive lies in Casey being so man-crazy and in the relationship between Casey & her mom.

Since Casey is denying, we won't know. It is like O.J. or Darlie R., the evidence says they did it. We may never know why.

I think when there isn't a clear, obvious motive attractive people on trial tend to have supporters.

IMO

YES YES For Gods sake and all that is holy GIVE US THE LAST CHAPTER!!

What do you think killed her? Won't it be harder to prove intent if something else killed her and we don't have that something or traces of that something? Then doubt enters my mind about an accident. I am just wondering. I hope whatever it was that LE has it. Everything points to intentional death but without a cause of death that gets tough.

IIRC I ready today that LE is "close" to having a date the chloroform searches were done on the computer. I'll try to find the link and post.

"Investigators have also confirmed that high levels of chloroform were in the trunk, and they said they're close to determining the dates someone researched chloroform on Anthony's computer before Caylee disappeared."

Yep. And I want to know more about the bottle/can of "cleaning fluid" that was in the car with the pizza.

There ya go. That's my thoughts exactly.

How would she know that chloroform could be used to clean that up? It's not something most people would know. I think the timing of the search on the computer will tell us. If it was before Caylee went missing then she didn't use it for clean up. JMO

If a body is never found, we may never know the cause of death. It could be from choking to intentional drowning (I'm past the accidental thoughts) or worse. I keep seeing that knife. Ok, enough of that thought....

They can prove she's dead without a body but may never know cause... and even if they do find a body/remains, they may not be able to prove cause.
