It does, but I doubt they would let him wear a wig in jail and to court. He dyed his hair, that we know of, back in the beginning of June of July, I can't recall now, but maybe it was already growing back in. It does look longer than other photos that I have seen of him with his hair that color.

Did anyone else notice this furrowed brow upon the judge mentioning media coverage? Not sure if the audio/video feed might have been out of sync but if not it appeared to me he had some understanding when media was mentioned given the expression.

Actually, what I see is profound willingness to diagnose someone by just looking at them on TV. And then insist on "long history of mental illness" for someone on whom there have been no reports whatsoever to suggest that is in fact the case.

His mother is reportedly a nurse. I don't think nurses are even allowed to prescribe meds.

I was a neighbor of Mr Nash for almost 30 years....everyone knew something was "wrong" with him but it was explained away because he was so stinking smart. He was described as eccentric and weird instead of nuts.

I do think there is some mental illness involved.

But defenses of diminshed capacity are not accepted much anymore as a defense. Either you are insane and cannot stand trial or not. Being mentally ill does not keep you from being tried in court the same way most people are.

ITA. If showed looking like that for his interview to get into graduate school, does anyone think he'd be accepted? Do people think that they accept just anybody into graduate schools? He graduated university with flying colors, he got into competitive PhD program (taking a place of some other student could have used that grant money).

Not the same at all! Luka is a 30 year old piece of nothing and was all his life. No comparison whatsoever.

First responders to the Aurora theater shooting at first thought the shooter was a fellow officer, and the shooter had taken 100mg of Vicodin about two and half hours before the shooting, according to information from sources.

I take the Vicodin remark with a grain of salt. IMO, it's just rumor and even if he did take Vicodin it wouldn't cause this behavior.

Wow, yikes! I wonder if it is copy cat or for real? He could very well have sent a priority mail package on Friday and it would have been delivered today. Prayers for the people there and the authorities responsible for dealing with it!
