Maybe the nose bleed and mucuous came after they left the basement. It is not like it is all over her face and she is drenched in it. Me thinks, you read too much into this. They are thinking like this UK, they are frantic and they are staging and they are JUST NOT THINKING ABOUT EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. Patsy is upstairs writing a three page ransom note. I keep highlighting the sexual aspect, not because it was sexual, but because an attempt was made to conceal it.

Which suggests to me that some whodunit theory or part of it is plainly wrong, since there is no dispute over the forensic evidence?

Maybe they are a little frantic, maybe they are not 100% rational, but you know what, someone wiped JonBenet's genitals down, then redressed her in a clean pair of size-12's, then put those longjohns on her then wrapped her in blankets, they were not that frantic to forget to hide her sexual assault, even if they forgot her pineapple snack.

The autopsy report mentions "tan mucous" more that once. To me, that means dried blood, and I think if they had seen it they would have wiped it off, especially if it was bloody. Yes, I also think there may have been blood coming from her nose, mouth- maybe ears, though the autopsy doesn't mention anything in or around her ears. This was most likely from the head bash.

I think that you are right about that. And mucous would be hard to see anyway. Some blood was found in her nose...so, I believe that she bled from her nose, but it was wiped off.

They are making that one mistake that parents make, they are redressing her and they are cleaning her up and they are wrapping her in a blanket and they are tying her hands so loosely that it is a joke, but John just could not bring himself to do that anymore. This is an act of a parent who is sorry this happened. THEY DID NOT MEAN FOR THIS TO HAPPEN.

She was strangled twice; once before the head trauma and once after it. The first time, a thumb print is clearly visible on the front of her neck where her shirt was twisted by someone, Patsy I believe, and turned in and twisted so hard it left a thumb print, not just an outline and I believe in one continuing motion she was thrown against the sink. I believe this because anyone who is so angry as to strangle your child and leave a thumb print is not going to stop in mid anger and pick up a flashlight and hit her, they are going to continue and throw her as they are walking. IMO

IF it was the FL,then I'm thinking maybe it was already in her other hand,but I tend to think you're right.

Yes it does look rounder when it is enlarged. But Rashomon posted a picture of a sink that had a rectangular edge to it. Also the way this sink is layed out, she would have had to have pulled her all the way into the room and turned and threw her against the sink and that to me does not leave enough room for "throwing" her as I believe was done. So is Steve Thomas right, that she was thrown against the bath?
