Ive seen some nasty rumors too. I beleive some of them. Moo.

I don't think it's fair to allude to the rumors when we can't openly discuss them and contribute what is potentially wrong about them.

Not picking on you, you were just the lucky one whose post I saw once I decided to mention it.

My interview w #BabyLisa's parents to air tomorrow @TodayShow. And, why she won't let her kids be re-intervu'ed by KCPD.

On the fence here in PA. I am still waiting to experience my first gut feeling.

I've heard of drunk parents rolling on their babies while lying with them and suffocating them. While Lisa was almost a year old, I wonder if this could have happened if Mom passed out.

I'm a little suspect of this - Deborah has no choice when it comes to KCPD interviewing her kids. I can't imagine thy haven't interciewed them already. And one of them is NOT her kid. The other one's dad, IMO, should try and get custody of his son until something is figured out one way or the other.

Peter Alexander tends to sensationalize his tweets...we'll see.

Bolded by me respectfully.

If what BS said on video that the parents weren't talking to some local reporters because they had presented Deborah in a bad light is accurate the phrase that comes to mind is be careful of "making a deal with the devil".

I will have to watch this now. JMHO

If this is true about mom being drunk that's pretty freaking huge...

Somehow I am more inclined to believe that mom mentioned drinking rather than being drunk, but we shall see.

Whether she actually said "drinking" or "drunk", I'd still bet my farm that "drunk" is the more accurate adjective.

I think they already interviewed them.

Ah, thank you for catching that and pointing it out to me. Many were saying they were amazed LE hadn't interviewed them - the"re" makes all the difference.

Of course she has a choice. Nobody has to talk with the police. One that is not hers, presumably the father could have given permission for the kid to talk to the police, but just because he can give permission doesn't mean he did.

I'd like to hear Debra's voice in the interview before I pass judgement, I've seen enough talkingheads put their own spin on others' words. Look at all the mis-quotes in the Holly Bobo case.
It's easy to judge this mother and make assumptions, but I know I have made mistakes in my life and lucked out that nothing tragic has happened to my children or my wife. There may be many perfect parents out there, I can honestly admit I am not one of them. I'm human, I make mistakes, I sometimes forget to lock the door, or close a window, I might even go shopping for wine now and then. Fortunately, my family is still safe and sound, I won't take all the credit for that.

One of the inconsistencies I have seen...

I have a problem with JI stating he came home and "found the door unlocked". This was stated on the interview that aired on the Judge show 10/15/2011.

Maybe others can comment on their methods when arriving home?

I get out of my vehicle in the driveway, open the screen door and stick my key in the doorknob lock, turn it and come in. I wouldnt know if my door wasnt locked unless it had one of those port-a-potty signs above the knob that had green for vacant or red for occupied.

I would have accepted a comment from him stating "I found the door cracked open", but "I found the door unlocked"... Am I just being too judgemental here?

No, I've thought about that as well. You're right - you put your key in the lock and turn it. Now some door locks I've had you can tell if it really unlocks or was already in the unlocked position and others you can't. On my doors now (all of them) there is the door knob lock and also a separate dead bolt lock - so both have to be unlocked. I can tell when the dead bolt isn't locked - but the door knobs, not so much.

JI hasn't explained how he knew, or found, the door unlocked - just that it was.

If JI saw lights on in the home, he may have thought DB was up and tried the door before putting his key in.

Both good answers. I couldnt tell either if my doorknob was locked, but my deadbolt slides and makes noise.

The lights on would explain trying the doorknob first.

We don't know enough I guess on a lot of this case, and we can't rely on what the parents have said in interviews since so many people are split on this.

After today...the "I was drunk" interview and the oh...btw...I didn't see her at 10:30, I last saw her at 6:40, Debra herself has pushed me off the fence and onto she either did it or she knows what happened.

She says the boys said they heard some noises but she hasn't asked them anything about it because they were already upset enough. Your baby girl is missing and you can't find a child-friendly way to ask them about what they heard? Really Debra? Really?!!

Naw...I'm not buying that for a second.

Nope, it feels different. If it was unlocked, than your turn is hollow and without the click.
