It does look "cut up" (still could be just ripped on the seams) on the left side and the back. That did not happen in a dog fight or a washing machine, imo. I think it was actually Casey's hat and not Annie's to begin with. Annie only borrowed it or else it would not be in Casey's house.

So if there is increased escalation in the home, I wonder how the new Lawyers are going to handle it? Will Baez be called in to control his client and NeJame called to control his?! Then will we be seeing court documents flying between the two legal teams? I can see it now:

Nejame says, "Your Honor, my clients state his client won't make her bed! My clients require this to be done daily with no wrinkles and army corners.".

Well, That would certainly help the "nejame spin"

If the paper that Casey listed Caylee's firsts on was yellow, lined paper then it probably came from a legal pad that Baez gave her to write on while she was at his office. Probably an assignment he gave her. I can see him telling her that she better have all these details of Caylee's life when she goes to court. If she isn't able to relate these events to the prosecutor it will make her appear uncaring or, at the least, uninvolved in Caylee's life. Most mothers still remember a three-year-old's firsts. He probably told her to practice so that he could ask her all these little details so that she will appear as a caring, involved mother.

I'm thinking she will insist on taking the stand. She thinks she can LIE better than anyone else, so she can convince a jury she is innocent. Besides she likes the spot light too much. She'll probably even wear one of her "missing Caylee" shirts tied in the back.

Definitely not for a charge of murder but maybe for a charge of child neglect.

ETA: Is there any way for her to defend her lies other than taking the stand? Don't know of any other witnesses that can be called to explain them away.

Ok, I think I'm a very caring, involved mother to my 2.5 and 6 year olds. I have NO CLUE when they did most of their firsts... that's why they are down on PAPER. I don't want to make anyone think I'm defending Casey but that is ridiculous. My husband has to ask me for their BIRTHDATES. Who remembers the day, month and year a baby smiled, turned over, etc.? That's why baby books were invented.

I'm sure this was just an informal list written so that they didn't screw up while writing in a baby book or scrapbook. I write things down 100,000,000 times before I write them in a baby book so they look more "professional".

YEP I remember you saying...SOMEONE FIND THE PICTURE WITH THE HAT, hurry!..lol and I was laughing at you ONLY b/c you were waiting for others sleuth it out like I was..so yes props to you for kicking people in the tushy to find the picture. For what it's worth Annie was in tons of pictures so I'm surprised we haven't heard more from and about her.
