Discrepancies in the Depositions Between Anthony Family Members

Found it (thank goodness these docs have indeces) See page 349 of CA's depo (their page number, not pdf page number).
She parks outside the garage because the doors to KC's car are open.

Okay, but what I just posted above is when CA first came home from the tow yard, maybe she closed them before she went to TL's to get KC. But see their page 381, when CA comes back home from TL's, she says everything on the car was still open and LA was there.

So weird...I thought I knew this part of the depos well, still i went back and read the part you referenced (CA depo pdf pgs. 199-200).

LDB covered this very thoroughly. CA testifies the garage door is open, she's rounding the corner and LA is waiting to greet them ---

LDB: Okay. Was Casey's car still in there?

CA: Yes.

LDB: ---with everything open?

CA: Yes.

LDB: As previously described?

CA: Yes.

IIRC, CA's previously described that everything was open - the windows, doors, sunroof, hood and trunk. It was parked on CA's side of the garage. (something about there being more room so they would be able to open the car doors) They even removed the battery so that...well, let's face it, so Casey wouldn't drop by and take off with it.

Here is where it gets confusing for me --
pdf pg. 199, line 25 - CA says, "...as soon as I pulled in..."
pdf pg. 200, lines 4,5 - CA says, "...so when I pulled in, first thing, I parked the car, Casey gets out."

I interpret "pulled in" and "parked" as parking in the garage. It couldn't have been in the same "previously described" condition "with everything open" and they just pulled in and parked. I dunno. Maybe LA shut the doors so they could pull in. Probably not a big deal at all, but it bugs me. lol

KC's non-graduation - they found out:

1.) the day of graduation
2.) 2 days before graduation
3.) about a week before graduation

Pretty sure it was LA who said "about a week before...". I noted the discrepancies, but my brain is mush about who (GA/CA) committed to #'s 1 & 2.
One thing is guaranteed...the school guidance counselor would have notified Casey LONG before any of those times...perhaps even at the very beginning of the school year. They should supoena the school records and verify when CASEY knew...

I think she meant "pulled in the driveway".

It is very very sad what this family is willing to do to save face. It makes sense that their daughter did what she did and I am surprised she didn't wipe them all out. I feel sick reading these. If everyone stuck to the truth there would be no inconsistencies. The one that bother's me the most is breakfast with Caylee the morning of June 16 - how can anyone forget or get that wrong? It is the last time she was seen alive.

It leads me to believe no one paid attention or even saw Caylee that day and they are just trying to set the scene as a normal rosy happy day full of sunshine - when in reality these people went about their day without a care or even noticing where Caylee went or was or if she was okay.

This explains June 9th vs. June 15th. They just didn't care enough to know what was going on with their own daughter or granddaughter.

Also why does CA want to make Caylee seem like a genius? Like she could recipe a book and make herself scrambled eggs in the morning and then sit and watch cnn? She even mentions baby einstein as her favorite movies. It is almost lie she wants us to believe Casey was responsible for this.

Okay about the 911 calls CA made. Didn't she say she made one while they were driving? I remember she said it was either pull over on the side of the road or go home and have the police come there. LA states the first 911 call was made at the house..am I confused or is that what he stated?

She made one in the parking lot of a police department, but they were closed. (This is where she was being transferred to the proper department. Where CA threatens to take custody of Caylee, and KC asks for one more day.)

She made another one at home. (This is the one where CA states, "I need someone in my home arrested, for stealing my auto and money.")

The third one was the frantic, it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car, call

ETA, that is what Lee said during the state depo, but he was mistaken.

Seems like a minor discrepancy, but on page 175 of Cindy's depo she implies that she immediately was told that Jesse was the father. First she says "She (Casey) thought it was Jesse Grund" then they ask if Casey was unsure of who the father was, and Cindy says "She had no doubt."

But in George's depo, on page 92 he says that when they all had the conversation, he didn't know who the father was, and that they didn't ask until later. Also, he mentioned that Cindy says (at one point) "Let's just get her through this thing, then we'll eventually get into knowing who the father is"

Maybe Cindy was trying to protect Casey's reputation by implying that Casey was sure it was Jesse, because I'm sure Cindy did the math, just like Jesse did.

Yep, Phumi, I don't for a minute buy the "tight budget" story either. Even if they were, there are other ways of making ends meet before resorting to selling out their deceased grandbaby.

ETA- Lee's depo states that he moved in to help with the bills. He doesn't make it sound like a desperate situation though. I would think that two adults with full-time work, one adult on disability should be enough to support them.
The Anthony cruise that made the news today contradicts the tight budget story. http://www.wftv.com/news/21338069/detail.html

Yep that is what I thought, thanks. You say mistaken...I have another word that comes to mind. I honestly think he convienantly "forgets" things so it makes it seem like they weren't all speaking about KC 24-7 which I totally think is the case.

Thanks. Your scenario is more than likely true. I definitely could have used a better word than "mistaken", but you see what I'm saying.

door locks on garage door
Cindy said George had changed them, but George said he never had changed them.

This probably doesn't belong here, but from reading these depositions, everybody seems to have a different "belief" as to when and how and what time frame KC was "working". I hope at some point we can see a printout from the Social Security Administration that would show exactly what has been reported by her "employers" and for what period of time. That is, if there is any at all.....

George said Caylee wasn't using complete sentences and that Caylee never talked about what she did. Cindy said Caylee not only used sentences but that Caylee put together complete paragraphs. Cindy said Caylee even put together whole stories.

After watching Caylee in her precious videos taken..I will have to believe George in this matter.

It seems as talkative as Casey was she wasn't using her verbal skills at all when taping Caylee.I thought Caylee spoke more on a gibberish level.Bless her heart.

ITA LF...and IMO Cindy would have Caylee on video talking up a storm -- she'd be so cute! IMO we'd have seen a vid like that by now.

O/T But not sure what thread to blab real quick.. I'm almost done with the depos. I waited last to read cindys, blah. I have been making little notes between all three, but it would be great to compile an entire list of ALL their statements/media appearances etc... What a huge task that would be lol.. I have a few small lists, but not all of it. I should start working on that again.

Another really O/T but it was reported recently that there has been 10,000+ pages of discovery released in this case. Between that and the threads and websites we read regarding this case, can you even imagine how much we have already read? It's insane!
That's like reading a War & Peace a gajillion times.

Cindy says she was searching for Chlorophyll.
IIRC the Google search that was done asked Google How to make Chloroform.
so what was she asking- How to make Chlorophyll ? She says she searched for the effects on dogs..... :innocent:

This is a minor point, but depending on which browser a person uses, they could start to search for "how to make chlorophyll" and inadvertently end up with "how to make chloroform".

My son installed Firefox with a Google add-on on my laptop. If I start to type a word in the search area, a drop down shows up with suggestions. For example, when I started typing c-h-l-o-r-o, it showed me chloroform, chlorophyll, chloroquine, chlorofluorocarbons , chlorella, chloropast, etc, and then I could either keep typing or choose one of these.

Having said all this, I don't think Cindy was the one that did the searches in question. I just wanted to say that I've done many searches where I wanted to find something like "cassettes", but wasn't careful, clicked on the wrong search term from the drop-down and ended up looking at search results for cassava chips.

KC knew what she was looking for. No mistake there.

Snipped

Just another cindy "mis-truth/half-truth". Actually I say no truth.
It was determined by LE that cindy was at work during the time of those searches.

Even though cindy has recently stated that her time sheets weren't always right (which I call bull) it still only puts KC or GA available for those searches. I will have to pull up the times of the searches if I get a chance.
