Has anyone considered the possibility that Jodi Arias might not be able to get pregnant? She could have PCOS, which would make it difficult, but not impossible. But considering that she's claimed to have had a lot of sex with "boyfriends " and she may not have always been careful (taking in the fact that she doesn't deal with breakups well), that she hasn't ended up pregnant seems to be a miracle, right? Or something she can't do. If she could get pregnant to trap Travis, Matt, Bobby, or Darryl- don't you think she would have? Maybe the "I don't want anymore kids" discussion with Darryl went beyond wanting more kids to not wanting in vitro? It just strikes me as odd that someone who used sex as a weapon never used pregnancy in her arsenal. Unless she had problems conceiving a child.

Or I could be wrong.

This is a picture of Yard 30 in Perryville ... the Lumley Unit. Each unit is self contained and as close as I can tell from the description in Troy Hayden's video about Perryville, JA will be housed in the farthest right corner section facing West. If you look on the roofs, they all have letters. Hers will be letter D. Her cell will face directly in front of the exercise cage. I am guessing that will be just this side of the letter D on her roof.
.
If you scan to the far right...in another unit you can see orange figures out in their yard.

Anyway, I hope Angela gives her a hearty welcome!

Oh...love JM...asking good ole Abe (whom I like) about the email that he never got....it apparently had no address and JM asks if the email is like a "homing email that just knows it should go right to Abe?" classic JM.

I thought this was a really clever way to lay the groundwork for how JA could send emails to people--and to herself-- as though they were from Travis. Nasty, nasty girl.

Was there ever a forensic search done of Travis's bank account--the one for which JA had the passwords and pin numbers? Chris Hughes has mentioned that Travis had money problems after JA entered his life. Has anything been done to show she was stealing from his account as well as taking whatever he meant to give her?

Sadly, after talking with my prison guard friend about this very thing several times, I disagree. She will have handsome young men to flirt with. And will most likely get a few in trouble, causing them to lose their jobs and possibly end up in prison themselves. His prediction for Jodi is she will be pregnant within a year by one of the guards. My friend has been working in the prison system for 15 years and his wife, as a RN, for 12. The stories he has told over the years of the various things prisoners do and the ways they manipulate guards is interesting in a scary sort of way. He has worked both male and female sides of the prison and says he would rather deal with the men any day!

Nah...Arias will not get pregnant, not the way she rolls.

But I suppose she could if she really tried. I know of a case where a woman used a turkey baster....

Yuk, I have jury duty this week and hope above all that I do not get selected but if I do it better be over and done with by the 13th. Even if for some reason Arias ends up not being live streamed I would still like to be around to hear comments we might be spoon fed about the killer's demeanor in court. Also have a great deal of interest in how the Alexanders choose to cope with the day.

It's almost over. Finally! I hope not one single word is heard from the killer once the Perryville gate closes on her disgusting self.

This case is a major advertisement for the abolishment of the dp...it is not a deterrent and has no place in our justice system. She would have been gone long ago without that option...I get the family's wishes but frankly it backfired on them big time...just two more years of torture and providing an even more difficult transition back to some sort of life for themselves and their families. Awful things happen...this death was awful but I bet Travis would have asked them long ago to take care of themselves and their families. He loved them and I don't think he would be happy with this turn of events.

I wouldn't presume speak for Travis and I can't suggest what his reaction would have been if what happened to him had instead happened to someone he loved. To tell the family how they "should" grieve or how they "should" feel or how they "should" simply put the past in the past seems, at best, to be inappropriate. That his family wanted to be able to say they followed every avenue to see justice done doesn't seem, IMO, to be anything of which Travis would have disapproved and I don't believe that criticism of their position and actions is warranted.

I remember reading or seeing one time that Juan was trying to get bank account info into evidence. It was not allowed in. I also saw somewhere that she was stealing his PPL accounts and putting them on hers.

http://www.examiner.com/article/jod...rte-reveals-the-truth-about-killer-jodi-arias

Dr. DeMarte basically said, she wasn't abused, she wasn't a drug baby, and she is a known liar, stalker, and manipulative person. Dr. DeMarte said not only was Jodi not abused by Travis, but she wasn't by her parents either. Dr. DeMarte also contradicted the “Wooden Spoon Made Me Do It” theory by reading notes from Jodi herself that she was not abused by her parents either.

The photo in that article creeps me out: Nurmi is purposely crowding Demarte. She has to kind of move back from him and there's nowhere to go: very strained.

I wonder what they do with pregnant LWOPpers? I mean, from a practical point of view?

No need for an easily-manipulated guard: Jodi will find a way to get pregnant with that "attorney" from California who is now paying her frequent visits under the guise of being "legal counsel." Maybe even before she boards the bus to Perryville?

Alan Dershowitz would not take CMJA's case. He hates the abuse excuse, especially with no evidence and a lying client. He was on a talk show shortly after the first mistrial of the Menendez boys. He said our justice system is in trouble when we allow defendants to trash the victims with no corroboration. He said it was setting a bad trend to embrace the ABUSE EXCUSE. So he is one attorney with ethics and honesty.

My understanding is Jodi was already turned down a while ago by the Innocence Project. Plus, that project is not for people who slaughter their victims 3 times over, leave their DNA all over the crime scene, premeditate the crime from 1200 miles away, lie, stalk, steal.....

I think it's even more strange if Jodi didn't acquire an STD, or two, or three. It doesn't seem as though TA was aware enough to know he needed protection for safe sex, either. She was deathly to him in so many ways.

I would bet Jodi was on the pill or a patch or something. Maybe there's even a shot these days?

OK, I am missing something here. What might be the killer's reason for a planned pregnancy?

Yeah, but definitely for the shot-depoprovera, you need a prescription which isn't cheap and isn't covered by a lot of insurances. I highly doubt Jodi Arias, who had a spotty work history, had health insurance. Planned Parenthood, clinics do give free/reduced birth control to those in financial need, but not depo. One has to be monitored while on it, you can't just "go on it". There are serious side effects. I just had to get off of it due to severe bone loss. I'm 30, and my bones are like a 90 year old (that's combined with steroids for crohns and malnutrition for that, but the depo hurt it severely, it also takes all the estrogen out of your body ). You have to go to a doctor every 3 mos for the injection. I doubt she'd be that committed. Also, the patch is known for not working.

Basically, pills are not all effective.

Attention!

She cannot garner more attention that people are willing to give her.

I say...watch her be sentenced, then ignore her. Move on to something important; it's not like there are not plenty of other cases.
