Polly has not said much at all. Whereas Pam was very vocal from the beginning in defense of her sister, Polly has not been. Almost like she wasn't going to be party to the whole thing.

Odd. I know/knew Patsy's sister. We lost touch probably my fault... IYKWIM... She never once called herself "Polly"... FWIW

Maybe she dropped that name well before I met her...
Or maybe it was a name Patsy's side of the family called her. Her husband and mother in law never called her that. Not that I ever heard...

just sayin...

Polly was a nickname, like Patsy. Patsy was Patricia. Obviously Pam was Pamela. Not sure what Polly's given name was.

Does Pam know anything about the murder? OF course. Who went to the home soon after the murder to remove 'things for the funeral" and ended up removing box loads of items from the house? That's right...Aunt Pam. Pam most likely knows exactly what happened in the house that night. I also feel strongly that she may have removed the murder weapon from the home along with items used during the staging. IMO of course.
And to me this is one of the biggest, most stupid mistakes LE made...among many stupid mistakes.

Do you know this for sure...or is it just your opinion...If you know for sure..where did you read it? Because, if they DIDN'T inventory it....they SHOULD have. AND while it was being inventoried....it all should have been checked just in case it was evidence...or had any evidence present on it anywhere. Like for example...the AG Dolls...and the tape that is used to hold the cord down...or Patsy's paintings. She took way more than funeral clothes...my question if I were the police...would be WHY? WHY would Patsy need her paintings, for example....its not like the paintings wouldn't be there when the Ramsey's returned to their home, they weren't going to be gone from it FOREVER when they left that night. No, there had to be a reason...for taking the items that she did.

I have a question as I dont have time to follow the JBR case fully. I have read alot though. Did the Ramseys ever return to the house? I thought Patsy said she would never go there again? So, it makes sense she has to send some fam member in to get mementos, a certain funeral dress fr JBR, etc. Just wondering!
I dont think Pam knows anything, she was in GA wasnt she when this happened? How could she know anything?
Thanks for any answers.
I would think there would be ALOT of JBR 's things that the Ramseys would want I remember reading a few of the things in their book that they wanted out of the house such of JBR'a baby teeth, etc. I guess she gave Pam a long list so I dont see that as Pams fault. IMO

No, she didn't just take a few things out of the house...she took boxes full of stuff. The trunk of the police car was jam packed.

I have never known a nine year old boy that liked stuffed animals. Good point about them being cut at the seams...and stuffed with evidence, thats probably where JB's original panties that she wore to the Whites are....along with the rest of the rope, and tape that was used.[/QUOTE]

MY BOLD

As we know they had a few hrs to "kill," pardon horrible pun, between the actual act of murder and the "discovery" of the RN, I have always thought that they may have spent a good portion of it cutting up evidence into small, easily flushable pieces that then went swirling down the toilet. Most items that are not supposed to be flushed do not actually clog up the septic system at first; it usually is a cumulative effect that occurs later, especially if the items are small and not bulky. Cut pieces of tape, cord, cardboard from a roll, little girl's panties in many torn or cut pieces should present no immediate back-up problems. Does anyone recall if LE ever attempted to examine septic system's contents? I'm thinking no, given it was BPD.

Then you haven't met mine! He's 12 and still has a HUGE nine foot tall stuffed gorilla in his bedroom along with every other ( MANY ) stuffed animal he's ever won at an amusment park / carnival.

Pam told a reporter, no less, when Patsy died, "Patsy has her victory."

What more do I need to know?

Pam knew. Knows. Unless she has completely blocked the truth out of her head deliberately. I think Patsy did that, as well, so maybe it runs in the family.

My opinion, of course.

It's my opinion that the whole Paugh family "knew". I'm sure the story they were told was the biggest spin of all. I wonder if everyone would have went along if Patsy had not been ill with terminal cancer. I guess we'll never know.

The Rs never returned to the house again. Ever. But, of COURSE Patsy's sister knew. She was her SISTER. It didn't matter where she lived or where she was at the time. She knew what happened because her sister told her. She didn't have to be in the house to know. She KNEW what happened and took from the house exactly what she was told to take.

IMO religious crackpots, the whole lot of them. Victory is death? How sick! How twisted!

I raised three girls...so, I don't know alot about 9 or 12 year old boys, and what they like. My brother never liked them, but he is just one person.

My 4-year old grandson loves stuffed animals. He keeps about a dozen or so on the foot of his bed. He calls them "my boys". They all have names. They range from a 5-foot snake to a tiny finger puppet "snowman". And heaven forbid they are not all "present and accounted for" at bedtime.

Awwww...that is way cute!

I am a little upset right now so I hope you don't take this wrong. I feel like my faith has been attacked, I have never thought of myself as a religious crackpot.

Victory over Death is not sick or twisted. It is a promise by Jesus to overcome Death on your behalf if you believe in him.
If you call yourself a Christian you may look forward to your Victory too as it is assured by your belief in Jesus.

I find your post offensive unless you are a non Christian as it is in the Bible repeatedly. To call the promise made by Jesus sick and twisted is too much for me. It existed before the R's were ever born, and will exist long after they are gone. It has nothing to do with them personally. It is a promise to all Christians. God doesn't lie so that promise is a "take it to the bank" guarantee.

It will be up to Jesus to decide if he will overcome Death for Patsy and he is not sick or twisted.

It is a common theme regardless of which Christian faith you are. The Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal etc all proclaim Victory over Death by the saving power of Jesus.

Ok now I have vented and hope you have a better understanding of the gifts we receive from our Savior. I am going to assume you were unaware of the promise when you called it sick and twisted.

You are right, Cathy, but I took Bobbarita's post to mean that the sick and twisted part was Patsy's invovlement in the death of her daughter and then her sister to declare her "victory". The word victory is a big part of this case as it was used in the ransom note and I believe that Pam's use of that word only cements the fact that Patsy did write that note.
I am also a Christian and believe me, I don't take lightly any remarks about my Saviour, but I believe (and truly hope) that Bobbarita didn't mean to slight the Christians on this board.

I'm a Christian as well and took no offense at Bobbarita's words.

  Doesn't one particular Biblical phrase read, "the last enemy that shall be destroyed is Death?"

First, let me say I'm sorry you feel your religion was attacked and are upset by it.

But I think your post is about the best argument for the signing of the ransom note--"VICTORY!"--pointing to Patsy Ramsey.

If that is in effect what Patsy beleived and that's why Pam used the word in defining Patsy's death, that pretty much explains it to me. The only other argument I can imagine would be that the "intruder" was also a Christian with strong beliefs like yours.

So thank you for expressing your feelings on this. You just cleared that part of the ransom note up for me.
