Do you realize that gives us a new timeline? The reporter discusses that at 9:45, when the classes were regrouping, is when the substitute notices Kyron not with the group................NOT before classes began at 8:45.

The school spokespeople have always stated that Kyron never checked into his class at 8:45 or 9:00 or ever that day. Therefore, he could not have toured with his group.

Well, by default, none of the children appear to have "checked into class" since roll was taken after the tour.

ETA information from video:

The reporter is talking to TP and his grandmother. He starts out with a bit of background, a little from TP , a little more information from the reporter........what I missed is this:

TP states "I went down the stairs and that's the last time I saw him. I never did see him after that."

The reporter then comes back on and says "45 minutes past 9 in the morning, as the science fair ended, TP and Kyron's class was regrouping. Ms Porter, accompanied by a substitute there to help with the science fair. It was the substitute, says TP, who noticed Kyron missing...
This report gives us a new timeline. In fact, what it states is that the substitute didn't notice Kyron gone BEFORE the school science fair tour, starting at 8:45 and going til 10....but only after they'd gotten back to the classroom.

Basically, we have 2 possible scenarios here:

1. Kyron disappeared while walking toward his classroom at or before 8:45. He never checked into his class and never toured the fair with his peers.

2. Kyron did check into his class, started the tour with his group and disappeared at around 9:00 or after.

TP was asked to keep quiet by LE. LE and school spokespeople have said that the last person to see Kyron was Terri and that he never checked into his classroom that day.

I guess the answer would be, they didn't - at least not with 100% certainty.

If someone at the school begins denying that a child who was in their care disappears, then the last person to admit seeing Kyron would fall to Terri. That doesn't automatically imply she's lying. In fact, it is starting to seem more and more likely that Skyline school is covering up a huge mistake on their part, on their watch.

IMO just because the roll call sheet is signed at a certain time it doesn't mean that the teachers aren't aware of who is there and who is not at any other times. IMO it should be a pretty automatic thing for them to keep track of their children several times in the day and every time there is a transition of some sort. Of course lapses and errors may sometimes occur, like when somehow Kyron managed to wander in the bathroom without the teacher or Terri noticing that he was going but it can happen whether or not they have taken roll call the first thing in the morning or not.

That is only true if Kyron was in the care of an adult who wasn't accompanied by any other people at the time. If the teacher lies about Kyron being in her care, what about the other children in her care? Wouldn't they have seen him as well, and the chaperon if she was there at the time. The teacher would have to get them all to lie or to forget it or convince LE that everybody else is lying, mistaken and confused except her.

IIRC, LE did say that Kyron was last seen at around 9 ;00 a.m. by the front entrance to the school. He was seen by another child. His SM was probably the last known adult to see him that morning. MOO IMO

Nope. LE would take all their statements and let them stand. However, with this report puts it into nearly 10 a.m. when the substitute noticed Kyron isn't with the group (There are supposed to be 6, there are only 5), which says to me that there were a LOT of procedures not followed that day, the primary one being keeping track of the children there.

Other than what Terri said to her mother Carol, and what Carol reported to the media, has there been any confirmation on what time the children actually reported to class to divide into groups? I have read conflicting comments regarding the time that the children were divided into groups.

I believe the sign on the outside of the school stated the SF was from 8:00 until 10:00. I read somewhere that the children divided into groups at 8:15, but it's just from a random person.

I know the media has repeated Terri's version, but it would be great to get an official version, or at least a version from someone other than Terri. If anyone has a source for that information that didn't come from Terri, I would appreciate it.

Then you would think instead of repeated reports of roll call at 10, we'd have had repeated reports of a head count at 8:45 or 8:50 or something like that.

Particularly the school. You would think in all that Shelby and Keefer have said, they'd have said, "Well, the teacher did a quick head count (or quick visual scan to verify all students who should have been there, were indeed there) just before putting the children into groups, between 8:45 and 9."
