Does TH's FB give us any clues?

There has been an independent corroboration that LE has asked witnesses not to speak to the media. The guardian of Kyron's deskmate said that the FBI had asked her not to allow the child to speak to the media. Obviously, she did so anyway and a very unwise decision I believe it to be.

I suppose it is possible that the Hormans are orchestrating an incredibly complex media campaign that included manipulating the guardian into telling the media a lie.

The simpler solution is that LE, including the FBI, has asked witnesses not to go to the media and the vast majority of them are complying. Not everyone obeyed, obviously, but then even the White House can't keep every set of loose lips buttoned.

Kaine's email, kyron's deskmate's grandmother, the principal, rep for Portland schools, Kyron's aunt have all indicated there should be no media contact, and have either hinted or stated outright that this came from LE.

I take her word with a grain of salt. She has not shown herself to be an honest person. When LE has to ask the whole community to back up what she has told them (the flyer; with her picture, the truck's picture, and Kyron's picture, along with the very pointed questions about her, her vehicle, and her being seen with her step-son) then there appears to some serious problems with her version of events and her veracity, in my opinion

How so?

She and her husband basically ordered their friends and co-workers not to speak to the media. She, (reportedly) using facebook, he, using that interesting email sent out on Sunday morning, less than 48 hours after Kyron was reported missing.

They weren't the only ones who claim to have been told to stay away from the media.

I am waiting for the answers to the questionnaires that were sent out.
Asking if anyone remembers seeing them on the science fair day.
Someone would had to have seen them at the school on that day during the fair. Plus they have details, they are not going to release about the investigation. I just want to know, if anyone else seen them that day, around that time, as she told the police.

Perhaps they could use satellite images from that day. and look at the lot to see if she was parked there...........Perhaps they did, and no indication was seen to support what she told them. So now they sent out the questionnaire to affirm she was not there on that day?

Edited: If LE suggested to the family not to speak about what they know because it could hurt the investigation, no matter how tough, it is best that they do not speak -- I agree.

Whenever I read posts from others commenting about her FB posts when it was public, I downplayed them every time. Now, not the case. I know that TH's FB when it was public cannot be posted here, but it is out there. Terri's friends commented on her FB DIRECTLY TO OUTSIDERS (THE MEDIA) so TH and her friends knew that it was being read as they continued to post. Her FB was in public mode at the time.

People make remarks to me on that line all the time.

Are you as attached to your adoptive children as your biological children? My answer? YES 100% they are ALLL my children and I LOVE THEM ALL equally. Could not imagine my life with out ANY of them. A Piece of me WOULD be missing if any of them was missing.

But in the end some people would feel that way I guess I just can't imagine that

i totally agree!! i have five grandchildren. two of them would be considered by some people to be my "step" grandchildren. i just call them mine. i absolutely know i feel no differently about them than i do about my other grandchildren. i also know that my daughter loves those two exactly as much as she loves the baby girl that she gave birth to. and there is nothing i have seen to say TH doesn't love Kyron just as much. it makes me too sad to think that someone who raises a child, feeds them, baths them, kisses their boo-boos could then turn around and harm that child. yes, i know it happens every day, and every day it makes me sad.

IMO, the flyers may not have been to see if her story is true. This an assumption, and one we do not know if it is correct. The flyer questions may also have been for the purpose of determining if anyone was 'around' her that day. Was she being followed, was there a man 'watching' her, was there anyone else around Kyron that day...etc etc. There may have been a vehicle following hers, or a 'guest' that showed 'too much' interest in her at the school. She may have actually driven her Mustang -{Do we have Confirmation of what vehicle she drove that day? Or is it an assumption she drove the tuck?}- and Kyron may have been seen leaving in a truck similar to hers...(that people may have assumed WAS her.) There is SO much we do not know-making an informed opinion is next to impossible. We may be making good educated guesses, but they are based on assumptions, not facts.

(Added: I know LE said in the flyer the white truck, similar to what TH drove that day-but they didn't say she drove it to the school-and 'that day' could have referred to the bus stop, errands, or her final trip to the school after realizing Kyron was missing...)

The thing that upset me the most was the numerous pics that people claimed they saw of her baby girl but only one or two of kyron THAT speaks volumns if you ask me, but that is me. Step son or not I would have loved that child as if he was my own!!!

I'm sure others will have answered you as well, but this is not true. There were albums with many pics of Kyron on SM's FB.

It seemed like the "likes" were clustered to one time group--as if she did them all in one sitting, and were in response to posts like, 'Our thoughts and prayers are with you.'

Facebook is such a neat place to make contact with our friends, and perhaps I am lazier than most people, but I tend to hit "like" or post a little smile sometimes rather than type out long responses. To me, it seems to indicate "I agree" or "thanks" or "I appreciate your post" and it never occurred to me until reading this thread that it could be interpreted as anything else........one more thing I'll have to remember if I ever have a tragedy that allows the public to critique me.

These are all my opinions and my thoughts about what is going on.

Can you elaborate on why you feel TH is not an honest person? I am unaware that she has been accused of lying by LE, or in any of the comments I've read by people who know her.

I don't think her FB gives us a single clue as to what happened to Kyron. It HAS, however, taught me a whole lot about what the public can do with what they see on someone's facebook.......timestamps can be ignored or not even realized, if one person didn't see a picture, it becomes "no pictures" in the public mind, smiles and likes can be interpreted to mean the person is in a joyful state of mind rather than merely agreeing with another post.....the list goes on, but let me tell you, my FB has become so private that it probably won't serve its purpose in allowing me to network socially.

I feel the exact same way after finding the blog. What did it for me wasn't comments after Kyron went missing but one from before that fits with some other things. Heck yes it can give some possible clues.

Yes, Lilly, I've seen the "46 seconds ago" thing, but it will eventually show the time posted.......except some people (including myself) had forgotten that SM's posting times were showing up at the time posted in OUR time zone. So it seemed as if certain of her comments were made AFTER Kyron went missing, when actually they were made before.

It took a lot of the controversy about FB comments out of the relevant issues stack for me!

I'm more interested in knowing if there was information on her FB account that could have been used by someone else who wished to take Kyron (i.e. her plans for the day, details about the expo, what time she would be there with Kyron, etc.).
