Does anyone find it interesting that the man DB is talking to says, LE advised her to get out of town and cease contact with this group? I mean, doesn't that sound like they kind of warned her? I just have to wonder why Ron Cummings wasn't also warned? Oh, maybe they really wanted him!

a theory only-
RC might not have been warned because this was a secret undercover operation that was actually kept secret, on a need to know basis, and maybe they knew which LE did not need to know...thus Ron was caught unaware...

Ron wasn't warned for the sijmple fact he is a low down drug dealer.

Not sure what you're saying here... are you trying to say that Ron is an undercover agent with LE?? Since when did he become employed by any LE agency? No offense intended, I may have misread what you said.
UC's have to be certified LEO's, and usually with several years' experience to work for DEA. They don't use ordinary citizens for undercover work... it's too dangerous.
And if he were an informant, he wouldn't still be sitting in jail looking forward to prison. Informants are paid for the information they provide to LE, and then they're back on the streets. At least that's the way it works around here.

At the bottom of this link - TJ Hart reports that the Sky could not copy the CD provided of Donna Brock's stuff to a degree of sound quality worth posting.

Sure, wonder why Jax 4 could ?

There are other links for Tommy and Misty stuff as well but as usual TJ's Links don't work.

OK, if Donna's secret tapes can't be used, why can't she just testify as to what she heard from Misty?

Well, kinda. I'm not saying I think Ron is an informant or anything cuz I don't think that. But

When I finally ended up getting busted it was with the help of a guy I had been selling to for a long time. He got nailed with pills, they wanted to know where he got them, apparently he told them so they set up this thing. He called me, told me he "broke his leg" and was in pain, could I help him out? Sure.. I said, come over. So he did.. little did I know he brought them with him- they were across the street watching the entire thing, taping us. About 2 days later he called looking for something else, this time he came into the house, again LE was across the street taping. From there, LE took the pills from him, brought them to the pharmacy I used and verified what the pills were and that I have a prescription for one of them (Klonopin) and my mom had a prescription for the other (Oxycontin). With this information and the tapes from the "deals" they got the warrants and made the busts. So, while the guy I was selling to obviously wasn't a cop, he was working undercover, in a sense, for them which is a very common tactic with LE in making drug busts.

But again, I personally don't think that was the case here with Ron or any of these peeps but it does happen.

That's a beautiful picture and sentiment, OneLostGrl. It really struck me as something to always keep in mind, for ourselves and our children.

Quoting NG transcript:

DONNA BROCK: A detective from Putnam County, and then some other guy, some investigator or something. What had happened was when I came through from Virginia, from my doctor`s appointment, I had all my meds or whatever. Misty was having problems. I gave her the meds. She sold them. Just as simple as that. I never sold them, but I gave them to her. I gave them away. And she sold them to that undercover guy, whoever was with her at the truck stop.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You`re not on these videotapes, they`re talking about selling these drugs to an undercover cop?

BROCK: No.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You got in the car while she was doing...

BROCK: Yes, I was in the car because it was cold outside. I got in the car with them both. Yes, I did. Yes, I did. I mean, I did. But I gave them to her. They were hers. But they were -- I still -- like I told the detectives, I did, I gave them to her. You know, I didn`t want them. I didn`t need them. She`s the one that was in pain, not me. Whatever. I mean, it wasn`t my business what she did afterwards. I admit, yes, I gave them to her.

That's pretty nonchalant, imo... If Misty was in pain and needed Donna's drugs to relieve her pain, why would she sell them to an undercover cop? Even if it wasn't any of my business I'd be pretty annoyed if somebody told me a sob story about being in pain in order to make me feel sorry for her and give my pills to her, and then it turns out they're just going to sell them for a few bucks. Anyway, I think it is my business what she does with the drugs if I'm gonna end up in jail with her.

Nope, not buying this one.

ETA: And I seen three... Notice how she repeats things. I gave her the meds. I gave them to her. I gave them away. I was in the car. I got in the car. I did, I did, I did. I gave them to her, I gave them to her. It's a red flag to me.

Yes, she is trying t o save her own rear....it is not like she did not know MC. After the road rage, which everyone knows about....there is no innocence amongst these two or the whole gang.... The woe is me story is not gonna fly...

I think Donna is trying to avoid another charge. If she says she sold the drugs to Misty, then Misty resold them to the cop, she is facing more charges. Also when they first got busted HC said if Misty was involved, she wasn't a ring leader, she was helping out a friend. Chelsey or Lindsay said the same thing to Misty, "you were helping out a friend, that's all". So people think if you are just helping out a friend you don't get charged or go to jail?????? Where did they learn this?

Thank you for your reply. I see what you're saying. It's possible that Ron could have been working with the cop's... but I highly doubt he would still be sitting in jail if that were the case.
Around here, it's not common for LE to use civilians... they have plenty of UC's and informants, and they don't want them to blow their cover.
I did read somewhere that he yelled out that he was an informant right when they cuffed him, though. I still don't entirely believe that, but as strange as this case has been... you never know!!

My personal opinion is that RC has been a snitch a time or 2 before this incident. I agree with the poster who said if he was a snitch in this latest incident he would not still be sitting in the county jail. They have video evidence of him involved in a drug transaction and he is going to have to cut a deal with the prosecutor’s office to get time off of his sentence and if he wants to get off he is going to have come up with some thing big.

a civilian undercover/informant is a snitch

Come on, what intelligent 45 year old woman wants to become best buds with an 18 year old dope head? really?
It could be that she was going through a mid-life crisis, and then got wrapped up in the "fame" of these young notorious wannabe thugs. She thought it was hot!! It made her feel wild and free, like some kinda badazz. Perhaps she enjoyed being the older cool chick ( ) who had connections, and got a bit too carried away. And I kind of suspect she might've been in experimentation mode and had some "romantic" feelings towards Misty....

Just my own humble opinion.
