Doogie Howser is Gay!

saw him just once,as one of the few white guys in the very funny black comedy Undercover Brother--he was pretty funny---but its hardly a surprise he's gay,I mean, look at him---and obviously,he came out since he was about to be exposed anyway---the "hip to be gay" remarks are funny but of course not true, and for a man to be bisexual is especially abhorrent because of AIDS--many wives and girlfriends are in cemeteries today because they didn't know their partners were gay---AIDS still kills 15,000 people a year

Doesn't take a rocket scientist does it?

Maybe it's not hip to be gay but it's definitely hip to be bi, especially with our younger generation.

I never thought that he was all that. So, I agree with the posters who says that it doesn't matter to them. ;)

I was just kidding. Doogie is just a kid. I also could not care less about his sexuality.

Well we do like the latest news DK. I have posted a bit myself...
Yeah, the war and the elections need to step back a bit so the media can report the REALLY important stuff! Glad I can bring it to WS!

I'm wondering- Is it the actors that think we care, or do people really give a darn who's gay in Hollyweird?

Yahoo For DH, as if I care...

I'm waiting for Tom to come out myself (not that it will be news to those of us that have felt we have known this for years)

I'm not sure why everyone assumes Tom is gay. I don't think we have any pics of him kissing another dude like we do Travolta, do we? Yet everyone thinks he's gay, lol.

Doesn't matter to me. I like NPH, always have. I think he's very talented. I can't remember the name of the movie but he actually played a bad guy once and did very well. Creeped me out.

yes, & i'm racking my brain trying to think of the title of it....checked imdb (all about movies) & none of the titles of his movies rings a bell, but you're right...he plays a VERY convincing villain....

Yeah, the latest fad for them. It used to be who was sleeping with who, now it's who is straight or gay - I think a lot of the shock factor is long gone, they've been looking for years for something new to gossip about that people might care about, share in shocked whispers. Gay has just about lost it's power too.
------------

Details, sort of makes one wonder who they will pick on next! We should have a poll as to their next subject.LOL. I really do not care what anyone is as long as they are nice people, have gay friends myself..

Fox News reporting this story as "important" and DK starting a thread about it. Why am I not surprised?

Fox News downplays and dismisses the story about Pastor Ted Haggard the gay hating evangelical preacher who admits to hiring a male prostitute for a "massage" and buying (but not inhaling) methamphetamine from him.
Here is a long article about Pastor Ted:

i saw a tad bit of this 'story' this morning.....(sighs)

It's different between women for whatever reason. You'd never see two hetero men kiss on the mouth, lol. Be lucky to see us kiss on the cheek (in America.)

My husbands family is Italian/American. The men all kiss each other on the mouth. Not everyone is a big ol homophobe.

I don't really see why people make a big deal about coming out. I mean I am straight I don't feel the need to hold a press conference about it or give an interview to People magazine. I don't care if your gay or straight I do think the whole gay stigma would die down though if the gay people would stop making it a big deal. Just deal with what your given and live your life. What did Larry the Cable Guy say it was so funny about a gay guy coming down the road in a parade chanting We're queer and we're here and Larry said well I'm straight and I'm late so get out my way lol

I don't think not wanting to kiss a guy on the lips is being a homophobe, lol! You can not wish to do such a thing without having an irrational fear of gays.

....a very interesting pastime...If one is comfortable with who one is, then people's sexual preferences should not matter...

This is hysterical. Neil didn't just come out of the closet. He has been living his life as an open, happy gay man for years now in NYC. He only made those statements to the media b/c of gossip blogger Perez Hilton, who is making it his personal mission to publicly harrass every gay actor until they make a statement admitting their homosexuality. It is absolutely ridiculous what Perez is doing. I personally couldn't care less who is gay and who is straight, but the sad truth is that many people still DO care. Many people in the public eye (entertainers, athletes, politicians) still feel that they will experience a backlash if their sexual orientation is revealed. So in that regard, when a prominent public person openly declares their homosexuality, I think it is a great thing if it makes even one person feel more comfortable with themself. I've worked with a lot of young people, many of whom feel ostracized by their peers because they are gay and thought to be "different." If one of these teens can watch the news and see someone they admire proudly declare their sexuality, I think it helps them to see that they themselves are not really "different" at all and that their orientation is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.

However, I also feel that what one does in their one bedroom is their own business. Hopefully one day we will live in a world where no one cares and no one struggles with their own self-acceptance. Unfortunately, that is not the world we live in today.

I feel this way, too. I also think that this is why people--public or otherwise--do not need to declare their sexuality. If I were in Harris' position, I would have let the website/magazine publish "their findings" and then shrugged my shoulders and said, "So what." It's not like he or others are hiding anything.

Ahh, yes....why is that men who are so "adamantly against" gay people, or I should say gay MEN, think it's "different between women." ????

Men who are homophobic against gay men welcome gay or bisexual women with open arms....LOL. Seems they all want to watch two WOMEN get together and fool around with each other sexually and think it's great, but protest so much about gay MEN that it's such a ridiculous double standard.

Methinks that those who protest the loudest may just internally feel the exact opposite of what they outwardly proclaim. :D Yup, I said it.

Reminds me of a rock radio station with a promo that says, "Sure, we support gay marriage....so long as both chicks are hot!" :D
