Sorry, I have to say this. We knew CWW was not a good person from all that has been published.

But how low can you go to have dated your current wife's aunt? His mother-in-law's sister. This just freaked me out!!

MS dated the aunt. right many many years back Not CWW. Am I missing something?

I have taken a break and obviously missed a lot.
Could someone please tell me if MS has been named a POI in this case?
TIA

  • #544
No he has not. I was merely speculating possible theories that involved MS. Sorry if i didn't make that clear

My question had nothing to do with your post
I was asking if I had missed information

I dont know where to post this so i will post it here. TS resigned her position with "My Mother's Home" citing the fact that she wanted to devote more time to her practice. This occurred in March IIRC. That may or may not have been the reason for her resignation but let's pretend it wasnt. Things may have beginning to come unglued at the office. For example, things not adding up.. patient volume down, squabbling among employees, or she may have felt the aura of peace that she was trying to promote in her practice was ebbing. JMO

OR.. let's pretend she gave up her position at My Mother's home for personal reasons. She felt pressure to be more present with the children, perhaps she felt her marriage was a little "off". Add to that the fact she was going to resume her sessions with a personal trainer to get her self in shape physically so she would look better or feel better about herself or just feel healthier and more able to take on the demands of her life.

In either of these 2 scenarios I see a woman who knew on some level something was "amiss". MS' antenna may have gone up immediately as TS was always so devoted to her charity work. He may have feared rightly or wrongly that she was on to something.MOO

Anything i write is just my opinion.

Agree. All of this speculation is being taken as fact here. And then we have speculation being made off of other speculation. A lot of assumptions being made and taken as fact throughout these threads IMO.
I believe this is a motives and theories thread.

I've just spent half an hour trying to get into this case. Be honest, should I continue? There are SO many threads , theories and loads of confusion. I think I'd need to dedicate a lot of time to sussing it all out in my head so I need to call it one way or the other, is it worth it, should I spend my time on the other 79 threads in my subs?! In the words of The Clash - should I stay or should I go now??? :)

I would go to only one thread in the beginning to catch up. I have found in previous trials and cases it is most helpful if there is a media thread. Luckily we have one here but I'm on my phone so I cannot link it for you. Media threads are the best to catch up on trials and then you can jump into the threads if you would like.

After reading that media thread I think you will be hooked.

:gomods: for keeping the media thread up to date throughout.

IMO it was CWW that wouldn't want her hiring a PI.

It's possible that TS's relatives had done some research on CWW and had emailed TS some info. CWW may have had a program setup to alert on his name in any communications. No outside investigator needed at the outset, but after finding the same general info we've found, a professional investigator could provide more and deeper information. Not to be an alarmist, but it's possible that CCW could have intercepted electronic communications. It certainly wouldn't stop phone calls between siblings, but it would provide CCW just how much was uncovered and shared with TS. He would also know TS' plans if she responded. He also may have had electronic monitoring of their phones or cell phones.

For now, if I were you I would start first with reading just the media links in chronological order. Get the facts first, then you can move on if you have time to read all the different threads which involve speculation and some insight from neighbors and verified friends who offer their perspective.

Hi CoverMeCagney,
That's a trick question. Can you stay or go? Once this case gets into your brain, I've found it difficult to turn off and walk away. Many of us started late and it still is relatively early in the case. Both suspects arrested and neither has been extradited to Florida yet. When they are in Florida custody, that state's open records laws immediately take effect and the case details (excluding any that may impede the ongoing investigation) will be made public. We're expecting an 'avalanche' of docs and details to go through.

My suggestion, since I started reading over 2 months after Dr. Sievers' murder, as well, is start with the first 200 posts in thread #1. Then review the media thread links and the timeline links. And then if the case hasn't 'enveloped' your interest, then go. If you're like most of us here, that won't be easy, if not impossible.

Welcome, and I do hope you stay around. We certainly can use your keen observations that I've seen in other cases.

I say Run Forest Run!
I let my curiosity get the best of me, and I cannot stop reading. Every time I think it can't get any crazier, it DOES.
This is by far the most intriguing and Unbelievable case I have ever followed in my life. And I thought the Jodi Arias case was the be all end all of craziness and trials

BBM 1 and 2. It's true, it's like an addiction. I can't get it out of my head :scared:
BBM 3. What Kate said, that's the ticket. Welcome!

I would definitely read the 6, 7, 8 threads first, to get a better feel...then media. JMO

Oh ..and <modsnip> realize once you get hooked the next three years of your life will be following the cases ( I will assume the attorneys will split the case and they will not be tried together) daily.

If and when the trials are live streamed for 2-5 months you will be sitting at a computer and not getting out into real life and having fun at the lake ;) and taking much time away from your family.

Plus the FOIA with Florida cases ( with such a high profile and the Freedom of Information Act) we will be getting a lot of document dumps that you will get addicted to also.

Can you afford that at this time and stage of your life with your family?

Many of us here are retired and can afford the addiction to support the victims as a witness ...iykwim

If you decide to stay..welcome to the most interesting case I have ever followed here on Websleuths.

Yes, it is unusual for an innocent victim to make no statement, no appeals to the public for info, no statement thanking LE for arresting those responsible.

There haven't been any significant court proceedings yet, just an arraignment and bond hearing, iirc.

So do we put that down to his best mate having been arrested and him being in shock or trying to keep a dignified silence, or something else...?

To me meeting someone and knowing someone are different!
Is it possible he didn't know whos house he was at in florida?

If there were no family picture inside the house, no name indications (mail on the table, name on front door etc..) and or if he did not pay attention, then I suppose he may have not known at whose house he was. And if he wasn't drunk or drugged up, he was probably busy figuring out whatever he was doing.

So I guess we can not say for sure, whether he knew for sure where he was.

We need anyone, who wants to join the force here. A fresh pair of eyes and some sleuthing skills can gather new info that may be important to the case. Look at this picture thread!

The question is not whether to stay. The question is, why are you not working on the case yet?

Even if I wasn't close to this case (which gives me a biased and informed perspective) I would still have a high amount of suspicion for the husband at the point that a lifelong friend of the husband became involved. This wasn't a friend that MS met a few months ago at a gym or someone that he knew nothing about this is a friend that MS knew for the past 30 years that he chose to involve himself with year after year not to mention stand up at his wedding two months before the death of his wife. Based on how "close" everyone is from that part of Missouri, along with identical looks, similar interests (computers/"entrepreneurship"), same background addresses and the fact that this friend was involved with the business that MS managed is enough for me to say - very suspicious. Once I then add my personal knowledge of MS as a person and a husband my suspicion turns into outright belief of his guilty involvement. I want to add that even if it comes out that MS led police to CWW or cooperated in any way I will still believe of his guilty involvement. This guy is a master of manipulation in my book who is obsessed with money and I thought that before (IMO) he was involved with killing TS.

 hiya Dmacky! I SO agree with you that this case will provide something more convoluted and interesting than ja ever did and that was addicting to watch because of the the defense team antics...er tactics? Not the least of of the fascination was watching a masterful Juan Martinez rationally and completely destroy the lies told.

In that case, we knew the motive from the beginning, this one is frustratingly fascinating on so many points. This is just so hard to understand WHY without knowing the motive. Part of the frustration is not knowing what was found pretty much immediately that led the Sheriff to say something like they'd "never seen so much evidence".

He made no statements in the two months between the murder and arrest, no appeals for witnesses or info, nothing.

OH. I take that back... early on there was a 🤬🤬🤬 set up with a goal of $1 Million that he requested donations for... so his silence was selective.
