The physical evidence in the case is entirely inconsistent with what Wright said what happened. "The evidence will show you this is the independent act of Curtis Wayne Wright in conjunction with Mr. Sievers," Fitzgeorge said. Evidence will show Rodgers not guilty of murder.

The first witness has been called to the stand. It's Teresa Sievers' sister Ann Lisa from Connecticut.

"She was my sister and the love of my life," Lisa said about Teresa Sievers. Lisa was Teresa's older sister.

Lisa is talking about being in New York with her family celebrating her mother's bday right before Teresa flew home and was killed at home. The two Sievers daughters and Mark were at the gathering. The family gathering lasted about two days, Friday through Sunday.

When it was time to leave, Lisa said her brothers went home. The Sievers family left to take Teresa to New York to fly to Fort Myers. Mark and his daughters were going to stay with Teresa's mom in Connecticut for several days after Teresa went home, Lisa said.

Lisa said in June 2015 she did not know Rodgers, but had met Wright. Fitzgeorge said the defense says she does not have any questions for Lisa and she is released from the stand.
