Sievers case also passed. Judge has a few other hearings to quickly address. After that we expect to hear a plan. (Rodgers still with his attorneys in meeting room.)

Is the case being broadcast anywhere live?

It will be on Court TV. We are not sure if any of the jury selection will be included in that. Court TV is currently only airing the Amber Guyger police officer in the wrong apartment case.

Fox 4 and Wink News are doing live updates. The twitter accounts shared have a pretty good quick update for information as well.

Judge puts court in recess, Rodgers still speaking with his attorneys. Once that's done, we'll learn who goes and what everyone decided. (Sievers was never offered a plea by the state.)

The court is now on recess. The judge said the Rodgers defense team and the prosecution team are "still talking."

We don't know at this point how long they will talk for or if they will reach a plea deal this morning.

Could the trial go forward for the 2015 murder of Dr. Teresa Sievers? Both her husband and the alleged hitman are in court for Judge Bruce Kyle to decide. Both defendants asked for another delay.

Rodgers attorneys left their meeting with him, went to the back room where the state is waiting, and now are returning to Rodgers.

It looks like Jimmy Rodgers will be taking a plea deal. They are on recess until Rodgers attorney and the SA come to an agreement.
