Drew Peterson's Trial *FIFTH WEEK* part two

You just reminded me of something that happened between Beth Karas and Lopez on IS this morning. Did anyone catch that when he was talking about getting something in and Beth said "how are you gonna get that in?" and Lopez said "you haven't seen one of my closings" ?

I can't remember what they were talking about now - but it really hit me that the PT was just warned. They better be paying attention to whatever Lopez was talking about and be ready to object before he blurts something out in his closing. IOW.....get ready Glasgow....the circus is coming to town.

I watched that also, fifteen89, and just before Lopez said that they were talking about Stacey and Pastor Schori. Lopez had stated that the pastor brought someone to their meeting because he was afraid Stacey was going to seduce him (the pastor). It was also something about there was something between them. Beth asked how he was going to get that into his closing, and Lopez then said, "you haven't seen one of my closings."

'nother thing:

Apparently Lopez will be doing the closing argument. I would have bet Brodsky's ego wouldn't let anyone but himself do the closing. I guess we'll see!

Was it about Stacy and the pastor being 'close'? I thought he insinuated something like that. Also didnt he imply that Drew was the victim of his ex-wives?

He came right out and said that Stacy was trying to seduce the pastor.

In Session Connor is questioned by the judge about Baden’s testimony that Savio’s hand and wrist injuries “could be” signs of a struggle. Judge: “You said ‘might there be?’ and he said, ‘yeah, there could be’ . . . what is that? . . . are you going to ask him for a definitive opinion?” “Yes, I would ask him if these are consistent with defense injuries.” With that, the judge sends for the jury.

The DT is delusional. Do they think people care if Stacy was flirting with her pastor or not? Do they really believe that insinuations like that are going to save their client? Idjits, all of them, imo.

Which confirms my own suspicions about Lopez. I think he makes his pretty young wife dress in matching clothing just so he can control her. ' Hey look everyone, she wears matching colors, we are one unit..' Moron.I bet he is a very jealous guy...

I remember his attorneys LOUDLY objecting to any discussion of such a pay out.......but in addition to keeping his pension, the 300K paid in full house, any other assets.......he got a MILLION dollars?!?!?

Is this something that the jury will know? So much has been suppressed or glossed over that I am not sure how much of the whole truth the 12 will hear. :what:

IMO, this judge is just way to snarky and combative with the Pros.

In Session The witness and jurors are backing the courtroom. Prosecutor Connor continues his direct examination by showing Dr. Baden two photographs. “Dr. Jentzen said these injuries are not defensive . . . do you agree?’ “Well, he may be right . . . the second one is more indicative . . . it’s consistent with that [self-defense] and it’s also consistent with other things.” The witness is then asked about the bruising in the clavicle. “That would be caused by some blunt force injury. It could be a fist, it could be falling against a hard object . . . it’s a blunt force injury, localized . . . a blunt impact against a solid object can cause right and left hemorrhages [in the clavicles].” “If someone were pressed against a solid object, could that cause those injuries as well?” “It could.”

In Session Dr. Baden disagrees with Dr. Jentzen’s opinion that all of Kathleen Savio’s injuries could have caused by a single fall. “In my opinion, you can’t get all those injuries from a single fall.”

Defense asks Badin about possibility of blood mixing between organs because organs put near each other. Badin says 1% chance...

They were throwing so much crap out there I can't remember what that particular part was about. Beth is right - how are they gonna get that in (even in closings)? Was there any testimony about it??

I hope the PT has someone paying attention to all the crap these guys say so they can be prepared.
