I'm on my very last nerve with the he-man defense team throwing insults around and bragging about how well they were doing.

They all have such faith in themselves and can't admit the possibility of defeat.

At this point, I think they are living in their own little defense lawyer-land.

Fact is, two silent witnesses have spoken so powerfly... Kathleen and Stacy.

As Joe Lopez spoke about what he will do in his closing, I hope the prosecution shuts him down with a ton of objections. And, let's remember folks, the prosecution speaks last!

Imo, all Lopez is doing is a little pre closing parading around like a peacock. It's all he's got, so it doesn't bother me. Though, I do not have TV (except for wii and movies) so I don't have to see his sorry pug. TG!

Ouch, Abbie! Very good point -- it has been nagging at me ever since I found out that she was found in an empty tub. I'm sure the majority of tubs will eventually leak out the water that they hold, but yes -- how long would it take for this one? I guess once one of the LEO's said accidental drowning, then it was Sayonara "accident" scene -- let's go have a beer.

All I can think of is the complaints from the defense that he kept looking at the prosecution table after being asked questions.

Pretty sure Beth Karas asked him yesterday if that's what he meant and he said no.

Judge Burmila is back on the bench. Attorney Goldberg addresses the Court about the fact that the prosecution wants to recall Dr. Mary Case at this time.

In Session Goldberg says the he’s reviewed Case’s direct examination, and she’s already discussed the possibility of axonal shearing in this case, “which is exactly what she’s supposed to talk about this afternoon. . . . it’s just not appropriate rebuttal-type evidence.” Prosecutor Glasgow responds: “There are only two issues we’re recalling Dr. Case on. One is where Dr. Jentzen testified about her specialty being shaken babies . . . that’s just flat-out incorrect; it’s simply a falsehood. And with regard to the issue that Mr. Goldberg just raised . . . that’s a misstatement of what she said . . . they completely altered what she said, and I think that’s something she has a right to address. Her testimony will be brief.” Judge Burmila makes his ruling, says the State will be allowed to call Dr. Case. He then calls for the jury.

In Session Before the jury enters, the attorneys ask for a moment.

Stacy adopted Tom and Kristopher and two of her own. Legally, she could have taken them all away as is now being discussed on InSession. We all know of her difficult background growing up and her relationship with Drew when she was way under age.

If she were alive today, she would be around 28! Peterson preyed on her and she had to grow up very fast. I can forgive her about anything because she was used and abused all her life. One thing is for sure, she would have done whatever nexessary to secure those children's safety. She just lacked world experience and was incredibly naive. She never would have abandoned her 4 children.

When she talked to Smith and Schori, she was looking for solutions. It's too bad neither of them got the whole story from her or offered her solid advice in a bad situation.

Her "game" of marriage to Drew and his goading her to go against Kathleen with youthful taunts were part of the growing -up process. Drew was the master manipulator of all things.

I dare say that Kathleen's death was a shocking wake-up call to young Stacy. If only she had a chance to escape.
