Drew Peterson's Trial *THIRD WEEK*

Drews folks are associated with well known mobsters on his DT (really, check it out!) and this smells to high high heaven to me!

The DT is not the issue...the judge is the issue! The judge is the sole referee of what gets in or stays out of the trial, how a trial is conducted, what he'll allow or not allow, and how he wants his courtroom conducted.

Are you saying the judge is in cahoots with organized crime and he is fixing the case?

If yes, for what purpose? Why would any mob boss give a damn about Drew Peterson? He is nothing to them.

Someone brought up the staircase earlier. As I've been trying to catch up with the testimony, I have envisioned Kathleen, having poured her oj & started her tea, IN THE MORNING (?), once again found herself caught off guard by DP & perhaps tried to get up the stairs to her room where she could deadbolt her door against him. With all the bruises on the front of her body & their locations I could see how being caught on the stairs could cause several of those. Then in her struggle to get away from him maybe flipped over on her back to kick/protect herself. If she were somewhat dragged down some of the stairs I believe that cold cause some of the abrasions? This toilet bowl drowning theory makes all the sense in the world to me. At any rate, whatever happened had to be dreadfully terrifying & took some time that must have felt like an eternity for her. I am beyond angry at how very many people have been involved in this farce of an 'accidental' drowning! I seriously get so mad I have to walk away from my computer & clear my head. Seems now this trial is every bit as guilty Drew Peterson himself in bringing every bit as much humiliation, pain & disregard for her life & death. Sorry, it was time for me to vent & air out some thoughts here!

I am so curious what kind of tea she was making. If it was 'sleepy time' or chamomile vs. Morning Thunder or English Breakfast tea.

I have Sleepytime herbal tea at night quite often. But I make my husband a pot of English Breakfast most mornings. Big difference and if we knew what kind of tea we might know if she was getting ready for bed or for morning time.

it has been in our face media attention for the past 4 years. If Glasgow loses this case, it wouldn't be a surprise if he lost the election.

Glasgow is always over-dressed with his hair slicked back in that ridiculous style........I wish that he would have spent more time on planning the witness testimony than on his appearance.

I am not sure if there is any kind of conspiracy. But I am not convinced it is impossible.

As for your question about why organized crime gives a hoot about DP. Imo, he was very likely a crooked cop. And he may well have lots of secrets to tell about local criminals and their contacts. Maybe someone is being blackmailed into helping him out of a jam.

Unless she was suffering from a bad cold, it is unlikely that she would be drinking a glass of OJ before bed as it is so acidic

LOL. The mafia doesn't accept threats from anyone. DP can't do a thing to hurt anyone. He's been in prison for the last 2+ years. I reallllly don't think any mafioso worth their salt is helping out 'ole Drew. He's such a big blabbermouth anyway. What mafia kingpin would ever trust him in the first place?

Nice fantasy, but I don't see it.

I don't remember if someone testified or if I heard it on IS, but she drank tea instead of coffee in the mornings. Still, it could have been a night time tea, I enjoy that occasionally myself. Doesn't explain the lid still being off the OJ though, unless of course she simply felt like a glass of that as well. I've also wondered, since she had apparently been studying late into the night, she decided to start her day extra early, say before dawn, as Stacy told her pastor he wasn't there in the night when she woke up...

Or maybe, just maybe, as crooked as he was, he "helped" someone out and that someone owes Drew a favor...

Maybe. But I often have OJ before I go to sleep. I don't know why. But I sometimes crave a little juice before I lay down in bed.

defense on why they withdrew motion for mistrial: "he does not want to hide behind any legal technicalities."

defense on why they withdrew motion for mistrial: "Drew Peterson wants the world to know he's not afraid nor will he hide."

Withdraws Mistrial Request, Wants Jury to Decide Murder Case.

I am in 100% agreement with you! These are seriously creepy attorneys & I have been in 'conspiracy' mode for awhile now. I, unfortunately, have 1st hand experience with the type of terrorizing & threats that these type people use against someone in order to achieve their desired result! Therefore I have found myself extremely suspicious of almost everyone! That includes the female prosecutor, the judge, and, hold onto to your seat folks!, the jury!! When the DT said today they don't want a different jury to decide this case the hair on my arms raised up!!! I know I've really stepped out on a limb here, & yes, people HAVE called me pretty kooky, no doubt some of my new friends here will certainly agree, but these things happen every day! Please oh please, fellow sleuthers, don't block me from this site!:jail: Lol, I really like it here!

Hi, ~n/t~ -- I just want to say what a treasure you are to me, and so many others, I'm sure, on this board. Thanks for the link to the letter (oh, it just makes me want to cry & then stomp on somebody. Grrrrr).

I am trying to catch up on the posts on this board, and you are such a big, big help to get me ready for the dog & pony show, oops, er, um, I mean day in the DP courtroom tomorrow.

Me too. Except it's grapefruit.

It's tough to tell what's typical in someone else's life.

I think it fits with Drew's coaching Stacys "memory" of the sausage that she cooked for breakfast that morning.
Sure some people may have some OJ at night too, but it sounded like standard breakfast fare. I would be interested to know of her daily routine.....what she typically had each morning and when she took a bath.
A bath is not something that I usually take in the AM either......it is too relaxing and I need to get myself going , but again, it is variable. Some people always take baths.

Anyone looking at the position of her body knows that was not a drowning regardless of AM or PM

Just finished my Sleepytime. (do we know each other? :-)

Is the kind of tea in the discovery documents, do we know?

I'll occasionally take a bath in the morning if I oversleep and don't have time to mess with my hair. I call it Yesterday Hair.

But no, it doesn't seem typical.

OK ,I watch TV.......isn't it " I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine?" If DP was ever involved in looking the other way or covering up for mobsters then he has friends who either owe him or fear him. Just my active imagine at work but I think Drew would fit right in .JMO
