WOW Guys - that was a lot to clean up. You all know the rules, please abide by them.

The judge is off limits. Don't even go there without a link that DIRECTLY relates to this case.

DO NOT copy and paste from social media.

Do not quote, quote, quote posts that you KNOW violate TOS.

Thanks,

Salem

I would like to apologise as I had no idea about the judge rule on here as I don't think it has come up on my time on the board .

Thank you caffeinejean. It has been confirmed that Dylan had the iPod. BUT it has never been confirmed that it was the device last used. This one of the points that has never been cleared up and it's important that we have it right, kwim?

EH has never confirmed the iPod (to my knowledge) was used for that last text and in fact has, on more than one occasion, said it was the phone. NOW... don't get me wrong here. I believe when EH indicated it was the phone, it was because she was under pressure/nervous and the conversation was moving quickly and she really didn't have time to thoroughly explain.

The the reporter said she confirmed with LE that it was the phone.

So this is a question that has not been answered sufficiently and I have to wonder if there is a reason why a clear, concise answer has not been given, kwim?

Thanks!

Salem

Didn't Mark confirm it was a text from the iPod when he was on Tricia's show?
I am almost positive he did say that.

If MR drank a half a bottle of Jack (wink, wink) the night before DP's polygraph appointment. How much ya think he may have drank, last night? My concern at this time is is whether MR will have DTs during a prolonged interrogation by investigators..

I am quoting this for one reason and one reason only: we cannot talk about this: (MR drinking)

as a general reminder everyone please go back to Salem's admonition at the start of this thread.

(eta: salem's admonition is not at the start of this thread but in another one and I will go find it and bump it up)

Has anyone other than MR ever indicated that Dylan liked to explore the wilds by himself?? JMO, but that just does not sound like Dylan, from all else we have heard. He seemed very social and liked to do things in groups, or be a typical couch-teen.

Agree. I also remember Elaine's words early in. Sorry I dont have the link handy. When she stated I'm afraid Mark really doesn't know Dylan very well. Words to that effect. Sure seems as of late (in the press) he knows Dylan well enough to predict his behavior :banghead: :stormingmad:

**added disclaimer**
I attempted to be as clear as possible about imo the catalyst that directly led to Dylan's death in keeping within the TOS about this particular key issue.. IMO it marks the critical point at which time everything went into a rapid, spiraling decent wrt any semblance they may have had prior of a father/son relationship..

**Please forgive the limitations that come w/my posting via mobile ATM**

Question for mods: if there is an incident that one believes is the catalyst for the crime under discussion, is it still off limits?

Any news if the meeting actually took place?

I don't think so. I think MR just said that Dylan was still texting or playing games or whatever but he did not clarify which device Dylan was using. At least not that I remember.

Mark Redwine not taking polygraph test
2/27/2013 By: Times staff report

Mark Redwine declined twice to take a polygraph test. The first time, after the show was taped, he said he was agitated from when his son yelled at him on the show. The next day, he met with the polygrapher and said he had about three hours of sleep the night before and drank half a bottle of Jack Daniels.

Dr. Phil said he had never encountered a parent of a missing child who had refused a polygraph...

I was just coming back to clarify that: yes, you can discuss the drinking insofar as the DP show otherwise further speculation about drinking is off the table right now.

Send me a pm and I'll take a look.

I wanted to make sure this was here somewhere, because it keeps getting misquoted. Dylan's friend said in the interview:

“When I was around with Dylan and his father, or when I was around them, they seemed like best friends, I mean they were really close.”

http://news.yahoo.com/video/dylan-redwines-friend-speaks-052445299.html

Some people forget to note when posting that Ryan said "When I was around with Dylan and his father, or when I was around them," and that they "SEEMED" like best friends. His words state that he is aware that they acted like that around him, but that might or might not be how it really was when he was not around.

I kind of remember the thing about Dylan playing with toy soldiers outside (which some referenced today) and thinking, this probably happened YEARS ago.

Dylan was sitting on the end of the couch texting with somebody and I argued that and argued that and argued that and argued that. Now I'll be quite honest with you, I don't know if he was texting on his phone or if he was texting on his ipod, it later came out that apparently he was texting on his ipod. I didn't he the way he was sittin I couldn't see what device he was using, all I did was argue over and over and over and over again with law enforcement that he was sittin on the edge of the couch and he was texting his friends and he was doing something so ya know again I don't know the

device that he was on. But ya know I argued.

FROM JUNE SECOND RADIO SHOW --------it later came out he was texting on his iPod.

Sorry if this has been discussed and I just missed it. What was the reason for MR's appointment with his attorney? Was it for custody issues? Divorce issues?

The reason I ask this is that what if MR wanted to take DR with him so that he could tell the attorney that he wanted to stay with his dad? What if when DR told MR that he planned on visiting his friend the next day, dad told him no, that he was planning on taking DR with him to the scheduled appointment? DR was at the age where he could tell a judge what parent he wants to live with. What if an argument began as soon as MR told DR that he was going with him for the appointment with MR's attorney and DR threw a fit because he wanted to go see his friend and that he did not want to stay with his dad? I'm assuming that this would have made MR furious. Furious enough to make sure that DR did not stay with his mom. :moo::moo::moo:

I'm thinking that a lot of MR's fond memories of his good times with DR was in the past.

Mark requested the meeting??? This is new to me. I thought that LE had asked him to come in to retrace the events.

Yes I would like to see a link on this as well.
