Please forgive me if this has already been discussed ...

Does anyone else find it strange that NONE of Dylan's things were found at MR's house?
Yes, a lot of us do.

Was DR ever really in the house?
LE says it was confirmed that Dylan made it to the house, but we don't know what they are using for confirmation or what "arrived at Mark's house" means. (did he just arrive but not go in?) March 19th press release

Or did DR get to the house and there was there a huge fight between MR and DR and then DR decided to pack up and leave and not go back? Would he have done this in secret? Or would he have told MR and then MR went after him?No one knows. It is one of the many speculations.

Is it even possible that DR told MR that he was going to stay with his friend or his GM?See above answer.

If that's the case, how was he getting there and why is all his stuff missing?Exactly.

The poor kid, he was vulnerable way out there in the country. He was too young to drive and IMO he would have felt trapped if there was a fight and no one there to help him, not his brother or his mother or stepfather or his friends. But he should have been able to contact them with his Cell phone, iPod Touch, landline or computer, and he did none of the above

DR walked into a highly charged situation that he wasn't used to anymore and wouldn't have the coping mechanisms to deal with it IMO.

Attached are two screen shots. One shows exactly ten poogle road miles from dads house. The other shows a zoom. Is that Mark's truck? Did a mapping drone help LE target area by mistake? Is this possible?

Amended: this spot is South bear creek. SBC flows to Vallecito creek. Vallecito creek flows down CR 500, in front of Marks house and outlets into the reservoir.
I wondered the same thing. I can't find the color of Mark's other truck (one was white, per the search warrants, but the 2004 Chevy didn't specify color on the SW)

Ranch, I would love to hear your opinion on the current events, because all I read from you is questions...which is fine of course, but what is your take?

You have to be a little more specific. What current events? The discovery of Dylan's remains? I'll start with that.

I'm saddened by the fact that Dylan is dead and I hope that the person or persons responsible for his death are brought to justice as soon as possible.

To be honest, the thing I find the oddest about MR, among many things, is that he would be able to talk about his son in terms of percentage of bones found vs. those still scattered and ravaged by animals, within a day of learning his remains were found. That gave me chills. I still can't bring myself to acknowledge it.

Yep. To me, each time he speaks publicly he outdoes the last in incredibility. A human superstorm. Waiting for resolution is hard.

Aloha! I know. Can't find. Pics of house show white and gray, but I'm stuck on brown for some LONG psychic reason. Stand corrected on brown until evidence. Still wonder how recent mapping is?
Maybe not even the place but LE stated 10. I favor first reports.

Happy Birthday America! Stay safe and calm okay?
Today I hope for many things - especially for Elaine Hatfield and family to have independence from Mr. Redwines energy AND the freedom to properly grieve for Dylan.

IMO this was done to taunt and further traumatize Elaine.

Thanks Ghostwheel, love the welcome wagon. That's a good way of putting it.
I wish I had all day to read up on all these things.

Just feeling outraged that Dylan's life was cut short.:anguish:
I guess everyone else here is feeling the same way.

It'd take way more than a day, I think! I've been following along from the beginning with only small skips here and there and I'm still not up on everything.

Outraged, still shocked, still so sad for his family - just like you are, I'm sure.

I wonder that too, if MR kicked him out of the truck and said, "you wanna go home so bad, go", or "you want to go see your friends so bad, go".

Sure seems like he was totally isolated and couldn't call for help, unless he tried.

This recent post suggests Mark is having trouble. (deleted superstorming)

Elaine just wants him is one statement but when he uses her line about hate (from Dr. Phil) as his defense, I shiver.

IMO he is dangerous Deluded. Enmeshed.

Body of missing 13-year-old found in mountains

More than 100 people gathered in a Colorado park this weekend to remember 13 year-old Dylan Redwine. They held candles and shared stories, hugging Dylan’s mother, Elaine, and brother, Cory. The teen’s remains were discovered last week, bringing a tragic end to a bizarre case.

Dylan Redwine went missing while visiting his father, Mark Redwine, in Vallecito, Colorado. Mark says he last saw Dylan on Nov. 19 at 7:30 a.m., before he left to run errands. When he returned, Dylan was gone. Mark then began searching for his son, reporting him missing around 4:30 p.m.

I try to tell myself, whether the murderer is MR or someone else, LE went up to that particular spot for a reason and I believe they had evidence leading them to it. The area where Dylan vanished is too vast for LE to have happened upon his remains during a well-organized search where they made sure to have multiple agencies on hand or on call. They knew he was most likely there. So, IMO, they are finalizing a case against someone.

MR himself claimed he had been searching and only mentioned two areas: around the lake and along Middle Mountain Road (during Tricia's interview). I suspect he was telling the truth about that and LE has been watching him. I suspect that Mark's focus on that area is what led them to focus on that area.

Previously (perhaps before Mark had access to Middle Road), LE was conducting significant searches elsewhere.

So, while I truly wish LE had some concrete evidence or tip that lead them to conduct such a thorough search along Middle Mountain Road (IIRC, the search spanned 12 miles), I suspect it was just MR's behavior.

As I was preparing for the holiday today doing my shopping, cooking, and what not, I remember how MR said that they went to walmart to pick up a few things to SUSTAIN THEM for a couple of days and that he was uncertain about Thanksgiving plans. If MR really believed that Dylan would be with his friends the first couple of days, why would he have to get snacks and stuff for Dylan if he was going to his friends house?

I believe MR had no intention of dropping Dylan off at his friends house. I haven't counted how many times MR has stated that Dylan's friends were important to him and to himself as well. The need to keep repeating it over and over is a big red flag.

Happy 4th of July everybody.

Why does Mark Redwine leave town every time LE searches Middle Mountain?
Would a lawyer tell him to leave while the search is on?
I just do not understand why leaves! Will he run?

He can say work all he wants but why would he only work when there is a seach and MOST IMPORTANTLY why wouldn't finding your sons remains be more important. Any job would perfectly understand that.

Is that the case? He's not working until there is a search ?

Also I thought there were red flags when MR said that he tried to call.txt Dylan on Nov 19th on the way back from Durango to ask him what food he should get for T-giving. hmmmm why would he ask that? Thanksgiving menu is pretty fixed isn't it? Doesn't everyone know what their family likes to eat on thanksgiving?

IMO MR would have told everyone that.
