I never followed this in the news at all,but from reading this thread,it sounds like there was no love lost from the beginning.I'm wondering why it was important for them to get married in the first place?

What I wonder is why do these celebs go off to some foreign land and get married when it's not even "legally binding"? That's stupid at least IMO

No offense to the "bride" but can you tell me why you would bother with a sham ceremony that cost that much? Donate the money to the Y or homeless shelters, for goodness sake...what an incredible waste. Perhaps she is pregnant or she didn't know it was not legal? In any case, I agree the guy is an arse and I am all done with him. His 15 minutes can be over except when he does donkey for Shrek.
