Yes, obviously, she was out of touch with the family all those years and didn't want to be found.

I wonder why?

I was amazed by the information about Elizabeth's mother. When I saw that she was born in New Mexico, I assumed she was a US citizen. Her dad Ansel Puckett was, and is listed in the Social Secuity Death Index as a result.

But I can't find Rosslyn. Could she have had dual citizenship? As a Brit maybe? Any expats out there who know?

LOL I misread your post at first and thought you didn't know New Mexico was a state, until I read it again and understood what you meant.

I searched the SSDI, too, and couldn't find her death record. Since I knew that the first name had been misspelled before, I searched just Johnson in Mass for that year, and couldn't find record, either.

Interesting thought that if she did have dual citizenship, she may not have had a Social Security card for this country. :waitasec:

Just thinking out loud here artsy. What if EJ was in Miami, waiting on phony papers, so that she could get to one of those Caribbean islands with ties to a mother country in Europe. Maybe she thought she might have some rights there because of her mom- or at least extended family there to help her out.

I never really bought into the idea that EJ went to Miami for the night life. She was on the run- to where?
