I don't know if it has been mentioned, but did anyone see the actress on Inside Edition last night? She said that she gave Ellen a dog a few years ago and Ellen did the same thing with her dog. Ellen kept it for a few days and gave it to someone else.
I personally think that Ellen was over the top with her sob routine. It was a bit much and should have been handled privately. If Ellen signed a contract, she should have abided by the stipulations. Perhaps, had she worked with the agency, they would have agreed to let the hairdresser's family have the dog.
IMO, Ellen is the one in the wrong here.
