Several countries in cental Europe have been hit by heavy rains that has caused severe flooding, with many deaths, over the weekend. A city in Chech Republic has got 473 mm (19 in) of rain since Thursday, five times the average monthly rainfall!

The intense storms with flooding have caused the deaths of 21 people in Poland, Chech Republic, Austria, and Romania. Now the storms are reaching Italy, with heavy rains, and strong winds.
