My question is, if the white trash bag was so maggot infested that GA heard them popping when he opened the trunk at the towyard, what were those maggots eating in the white trash bag? Remember there is only a trace of a fat decomposition product, like ADIPOCERE. I don’t think that small amount was feeding all those maggots. moo

Interesting fact about maggots I learned from the work and information gathered at The Body Farm, they can determine how long they have been feeding by their length. When they reach about 15 mm in length, they've been fed for about 1 week.

I agree that LE knows which dog and handler hit on the Pontiac. I think that the defense will use generalities when talking about cadaver dogs overall. They can be used in some cases, when there is cooberating evidence. I'm not sure if they can be used in this case, that is a good question for ROGER HORNSBY.

I think he talked about in his deposition - it was as they were walking around the car and before/as they opened the trunk. I'm going to have to go back and read that deposition again, because I seem to remember it was when George unlocked the car to check the gas gauge they really noticed the smell and decided to look in the trunk.

I think you are correct, and just before opening the trunk he whispered under his breath please don't let Caylee be in there, or something to that effect. He was obviously concerned about the odor before he opened the trunk, and he was relieved when he didn't find Caylee. The tow yard guy then grabbed the white trash bag and said "there's your smell" or something like that. In his depo GA said he heard the maggots making a popping sound in the white trash bag.

It was the FBI entomologist Dr Neil Haskell who said that in his report. He could still smell decomposition in the stripped down car, 6 months after.

IIRC The confirmation was not over the death band per se but needing more samples to know it was Caylee, since testing is destructive and they had so little, as well as more adds to the fact it was death and not an isolated fluke.

More is always better but a great job was done to clean the trunk before LE got it. The trunk was missing skin/hair forensics normally found in any car.

Bringing forward the Forensic Report (final report) on the trunk. I read through it again and found that while they do not come right out and say "yes, there was in fact a decomposing human body" in the trunk of the car their findings fit with it being a human body that had been in the trunk of the car. One thing to remember is that these are people that can not say for certain that it was 100% a human body decomposing in the trunk of the car because they did not SEE a human body in the trunk of the car. They are giving their scientific opinions based on their findings that it is definately CONSISTANT with a human body.

But GA describes this stain in his July interview, even desribes it as being the size if a basketball IIRC over the spare wheel cover. The same interview where he describes the smell and putting his nose down close to it, which eventually before the interview was over he was out back throwing up

Both men, familiar with the smell of decomp, were concerned about the smell in the car being connected to Caylee.

Simon put the Anthony car at a 7 on the scale of 1-10. He also said stated he had smelled a lot of human decomposition as well as rotten meat and fish left behind in cars.

What saddens me enormously is that this is all about justice for Caylee...CAYLEE...not delaying the obvious punishment and retribution and mercy (should KC even want forgiveness) for KC. This is about a dead child. Not about a self-absorbed mother. It is not about KC. It is about what was done to Caylee. It is about Caylee. Casey deserves to rot. She is so "upset" by the loss of Caylee that she is gaining weight not losing it.

Wake up call. Thanks for the reminder. Folks zoom in and target one small aspect of the case yet when you look at the huge mountain of circumstantial evidence holistically -- sure, some things will be challenged but it will be like poking small holes in the mountain -- it isn't going to effect the overall outcome one iota. Pro Defense, pro KC supporters can feel better over some small wins but . . . . in the grand scheme of things -- Caylee will receive her moment of Justice and KC will do time ..... a LIFE time.

Yes, the doctor who did one of the reports had the opportunity to check the car six months later and said there was still the smell of decomp in the trunk. He never said human decomp though, neither in his report or his remark about the car still smelling 6 months later.

31 day's not reporting your missing two year old daughter kidnapped by "Zanny the Nanny". 31 day's and KC said she had to follow the "script"-instructions by the kidnapper. Lies to LE about a fake job she had. No phone number for the Zanny on any of her phones. Partying for as long as she could during the time Caylee was missing. I could go on and on....Who could party when you are worried that someone kidnapped your baby?

Just one last thing:

Who would have wanted to murder little Caylee? This precious angel was just 2 years old, and loved by her grandparents. Yes, before Caylee was murdered, she did spend time with friends of KC and her great-grandparents. I just can't think of anyone who would have a motive other than KC.

A mother who loves her child, would immediately report her 2 year old daughter missing. who lies about having a "Nanny", lies about having a job at Universal Studios to LE and also informs LE that she talked to Caylee on the phone, her car is abandoned in a parking lot, and she doesn't let her parent's know. To top it all off, GA & CA both mentioned the smell of death.

I have faith in the justice system and believe that she will be convicted of murder.
