Ex-Housekeeper Say Patsy Ramsey Killed JonBenet.

People like that can live with themselves just fine. They justify their actions, which is exactly what JR did. He can convince himself that he did it to protect what was left of his family, so as not to put his young son and cancer-survivor wife through the trauma of a trial and the publicity. Now, of course there was plenty of publicity- this case was known around the country, if not the world. But it would have been vastly different for all the Rs had it been an outright admission of guilt, or had there been a trial with a guilty verdict.

And in John's 98 interview...he says that Santa Bill "claimed to be very frail". Like he couldn't look at him, and SEE that the man was OLD and FRAIL.

lol,can you imagine santa bill going in and out through that broken window?

Yep..that DOES explain alot...now doesn't it. Trust me...I KNOW first hand that alcohol and xanax do not mix...they make a person physically and verbally abusive.

ita.i witnessed once such a person's behaviour.dangerous and totally out of control.

About xanax and alcohol...

I just wanted to toss in my experience. I used to mix them, and often, years ago when I was having some problems. They caused me to black out. By black out I mean that I couldn't remember anything from the evening before, not that I had passed out.

Not a good combo.

Yeah, when my husband mixed the two, he couldn't remember what he had done either. He would lose things and blame it on me or the kids...etc. OH...one time...we were on vacation and he went out to grab us something from a KFC down the road...well, after he went there and got the food, he didn't remember doing it, so he then went next door to Burger King and bought some more food. After that, he went somewhere...to some parking lot and fell asleep. So, when he finally got back to the hotel...all the food that he had bought was HOURS old, and cold. But, he REGULARY did stupid stuff like this. Xanax, or Klonopin and alcohol just do not mix...

I could so totally see Patsy flying off the handle...(an understatement)...after mixing Xanax..or Klonopin...with the alcohol at the White's party..and she..herself...along with John...admitted that she had drank some wine that night.

I really don't think Patsy was taking anything like tranqs or sedatives at all. She seemlingly had too much energy and was always involved with something or taking up hobbies or traveling. This woman was in 4 wheel drive after having cancer. Like she was running from it or trying to stay 2 steps ahead of itor something. I really don't think her lifestyle shows sedative use much less abuse. According to Patsy she wasn't taking anything after her cancer treatments, not even any herbal supplements. I think she said a multivitimin. But again that's according to Patsy. If I remember correctly LE finally got her medical records so they know for sure.

Possibly the stress of the holidays got to her,and she may have started taking something then.Or she might have gotten really bad mood swings during that time, and was trying to self-medicate.

Sounds more like bi-polar disorder to me. Which can also come with sedative abuse when the need to 'come down' arises such as for sleep. The constant up and down is taxing and nerve wracking. A few glasses of wine to relax (had to get up early), just one xanax or klonopin, and a chronic bedwetter may have been enough on that night. There doesn't need to be a pattern of abuse for this. Imagine knowing you have to get up early for a flight, you are exhausted, you (in your mind) must maintain the picture perfect family which had to be exhausting on its own, you STILL haven't finished 'double' packing (cruise), and then you go to check on JB...she's wet that damn bed again. You TOLD her to use the bathroom. You can't take anymore. Roughly grab her from that bed. Cursing and yelling. Drag her into the bathroom. Why is this child doing this to YOU? You can't take anymore. You fought cancer. This child is supposed to be your little beauty pageant winner. And she does something disgusting like this...constantly. One whack. We know the rest...

OR

ETA: In some people klonopin and xanax can have a euphoric effect. It depends on body chemisty and how you metabolize that medication. It can also depend on what you ate and other variables, but I'm getting off topic. Perhaps her abuse was to maintain the euphoric energized feeling. It could explain her dramatic personality as well. It would also explain the other side of Patsy which LHP described seeing on a few occasions and the mega-JB thing. Her euphoria would have her doing all types of things. She's superwoman for gods sake. But there is a downside, once she begins to lose the euphoria she becomes wicked. You can't stay high forever folks.

Tranquilizers and sedatives are different than anti-depressives. Not the same class of drug, not the same effects on the body, with or without alcohol. I know a lot of cancer patients. New Jersey IS the toxic nucleus of the universe, after all.
Every single one of the cancer survivors I know remain(ed) on an anti-depressive, not a sedative or tranquilizer.
I don't think PR was drug-free. I am not saying she abused it, but I am virtually certain she would have been on something. Even a glass of wine at the Whites, with an anti-depressive in her system, could have provoked behavior that otherwise would not occur. That's not an excuse- just an explanation.

No, I do not believe that Patsy was an abuser ...or constantly mixed those two together. But, all it takes is one time. We all know that she DID have wine at the party...she admitted to it, and John said she did. All it would have taken, is for her to have come home from the party and have took a klonopin to help her unwind, and to get some sleep...because she knew that she had to get up early the next morning.

K' you guys. All I'm going to say about the Klonopin, Xanax, sedatives, antidepressant use and/or abuse on and before Christmas night of 1996 is "This is how internet rumors get started." This is not in evidence or considered a fact of the case. This whole thread sounds like are convincedsomehow that Patsy took something on that night and then it went a step furtherand most decided she was abusing some sedativethat night and even before! Is there something written somewhere by someone of authority or knowlege concerning all this drug abuse? And all this because Patsy had one or two glasses of wine that night? Jeesh!

It was so much a possibility that the investigators included it in the interviews with the Ramseys both times that they finally found themselves able to speak with the authorities, so to dismiss that idea is hard to do.

I think you are wrong on it being rumor.

Oh Good! Now we're getting to the bottom of this! I need to read about proof that Patsy was taking some kind of drugs that night and before. Please show me where this is written in a legit book or spoken on video? Other than proof such as that it IS an internet rumor and I'm sorry to say it has been started here. This is what I would suspect from a "less than quality" forum, not here.. If I'm missing something let me know. Because I'm just really disapointed that a rumor would originate here. But after all ,this obviously is no FFJ, is it?

RiverRat you may be right about them asking at every interview but I think that's a common question in all interviews about a crime like this. They also asked John.

There is no maybe to it - I am right.

These suspicions have been raised at all forums on this case, including FFJ, that for whatever reason, you singled out. There are also rumors that there was an Intruder, but not one shred of evidence has proven that as a fact, yet the conversations continue........

I have it here somewhere. But for now let me rephrase my statement to read that I personally believe it is more than rumor that Patsy had listed medications taken during and after the battles with cancer some medications could have been prescribed for depression However for now till I find this back I will with draw any implication that Patsy ever took more than an baby asprin. I have no proog she was ever administered Chemo yet we know that to be so. I know I read it somewhere . But after a relatively through look through look through my bookmarks I am not finding it. It could be one of the links that no longer work. It is not my intent to mislead so I withdraw the statement of more than rumor. I will say it this way I believe that she had at one time been on what could be used for depression One question if you will how is it you are so know with absolute certainty that Patsy had never been prescribed a medication that would not have that effect. It would be highly unusual had she not and we all know she was on something following JonBenets death she was obviously medicated when on tv wagging her finger warning Boulder there was a killer out here.
