boston_baby, I do read and look at things differently. It started when my son enlisted in the United States Army and trained to be an EOD tech.

And you're right, Old Navy does sell a lot of knock-off military style clothing. My cashier was a 5 star general the last time I was there.

I did not know this, good to know. The cashier comment is hilarious.

Could it be that suspect #1 recruited, suspect #2 for whatever his agenda/group its? Suspect #1 seems to be older and obviously knew to hide his identity much better than suspect #2,who is just there for all the world to see.I mean how naïve can you be? Maybe this was some kind of initiation or proof to some organization that Suspect #2 was loyal to the cause?

If that's the case - and #2 is easy to track and is recognized - he may just be made to... disappear, by #1, so that he won't be made to talk/spill the beans.

I thought it looked like he was wearing a headset and that's the microphone part in front of his mouth. Pretty common around Boston.

The suspect in the white hat has a distinctive profile and the pictures that eileen posted up thread show his face pretty clearly. I don't think it will be long before someone sees the pic and recognizes him. At least I hope so.

Unless of course he lives hundreds or thousands of miles away, then no one would suspect such a nice guy.

I personally don't think that IF these are the two bombers one will snuff the other, they are in this together with the same ideology. One bomb would have been just as effective as two regarding publicity.

I remember in a post they said one was speaking on a cell phone. Maybe they were using the cell phone for internet and texting messages back n forth and it come into play. With the cell towers.

Wow, if they were contacting via social media that day they had to be young. Wouldn't most adults know any and everything done electronically can and will be found, coded or not?

How terrifying it would be for those that weren't involved in the bombings to see the photos of these men and recognize yourself in the photos around them or even remember seeing them that day. Just to know that you were that close to explosives or that they could have picked your spot instead. Ugh

I think this means they are not being directed by any larger organization, such as Al Qaeda. They would be better trained/instructed, IMO.

Suspect #1 has body language that suggests to me that he is in charge or running the thing- #2 is younger and seems more nervous and unsure of himself. Could they be siblings, or even father/son? #1 looks like he took time to conceal his ID, #2 looks like he didn't bother and he may be the one that brings them both down.
