ETA: They have a patent pending on this pattern and I can see how it's a great design for that specific material they call for. The seams are outward and would ravel if cotton. If you have a serger, I guess you could finish cotton seams that way. I think when washed they would still have little threads raveling.
I found a similar pattern that looks a bit easier, but then you end up guessing about fit... I've already found one that I think will be easier to hand sew, will post if anyone is interested.... don't want to bombard everyone.
