Justina can not walk. She has been in custody of DCF for 15 months. She is in a wheelchair.

BCH had to put the feeding tube into her despite claiming they are concerned over mother's request for a feeding tube.

Her hairline is receded.

Her gumline is receded.

To claim that her symptoms were somehow exaggerated makes no sense at all.

Sometimes receding gums are a side of effects of medication...poor hygiene...gum disease.

Are you claiming receding gums are a major & common symptom of mito?

It makes no sense at all that we don't even know if she REALLY had the flu.

How would you really know if she had the flu? You don't accept anything that her parents say.
Whom do you expect to confirm the flu diagnosis?

You are correct, I don't believe a word from her parents anymore. Lou has proven himself to be a liar IMO

I would expect symptoms of the flu.

I would expect that since her condition was so concerning she needed an ambulance that the hospital would taken the simple swab sample and tested for it.

I wouldn't expect the symptoms her parents detailed.

What difference does it make regarding whether she loved going to school or not?

I have no idea. That's why I was confused by your post that stated she loved school and responded with ???

Now ... I'm even more ???????

Your source for the bolded items? Incidentally, several members of the Pelletier family have very broad foreheads, including Justina. Ordinarily with a hairline like that, hair is styled to conceal/disguise it. I don't believe that Justina is losing her hair: it's merely been styled to emphasize the natural hairline rather than concealing it.
Any information that comes only from the family or their 'supporters' is suspect, as they have been untruthful before. "False in one, false in all."

My source is my own two eyes. I can clearly see what is going on from the recent photos of her.
Her recent hairline does not look normal.
She is in wheelchair in all the recent photos of her.

As far as I can tell, none of those photos are date stamped.

I have no idea if they actually depict her right now.

I've never seen a photo of her hair pulled away from her face before she was admitted. Have you?

Please post whatever real evidence you have of her now. Was she in a wheelchair for the Blue Man Show? Church on Easter Saturday?

Statements made by her parents were published by msm.
I believe them.
So I am not going to go looking for some "real" evidence, ok?

That's perfectly fine. You're certainly entitled to your opinion.

And there haven't been any hospital pictures with her hair styled the way it was in the 'before' pictures. I've seen several pictures of one of her sisters who has a very high hairline. I think both she and Justina have Lou's hairline.

What would the receding hairline even be symptomatic of? With men it's a hormonal issue, but women usually get all over hair loss unless it is from wearing extensions or weaves that pull at the hairlines. It also doesn't look like a regular recession line, and part of it is definitely that the hair style emphasizes it, but there are definitely photos where it does not look at all normal on one side. It doesn't really look receded though, like where there would still be wisps. It looks like she just has a very odd natural hairline on one side - I can't find any conditions that cause high hairlines, only low ones.

Yes, I believe this is true. But refresh my memory: Did the parents pay for the school or did the school provide it at the demand of the parents?

At her parent's demand.

The demonstration on April 29 will begin with a 12:30 PM news conference featuring members of the Pelletier family, a family spokesperson, and state legislators. The demonstration will support pending legislation that calls for the immediate release of Justina and asks DCF to disclose how much public money is being spent on Justina's care.

This behavior is deplorable. her parents continue to thwart every effort towards reunification.

What don't they get????

Continually they put their need for attention above the well being of their own daughter.

Disgusting!!!!

All IMO

In the statement Polanowicz also maintained that Justina has “received treatment” and “tutoring,” that she has “made friends,” and has attended community events, including an outing recently where she saw the Blue Man Group. He claimed that they had enabled her to “observe religious services” and “spend time with her family on Easter.” This is in direct contradiction with all reports from the family and supporters who attended a “special celebration of Easter” on Easter Sunday outside the Wayside facility where she is living, with Mahoney and the Pelletier family because they were unable to spend time with their daughter.

Trichotillomania? Here's a link to a clear photo of her hair loss. It is odd. Like a man's receding hairline: http://guardianlv.com/2014/03/justina-pelletier-lawyer-in-11th-hour-battle-with-massachusetts-dcf/

I do remember that she was assessed by professionals and they recommended she go to a private school that could meet her educational needs. I must say, it is necessary, when a child has learning disabilities or special needs that the parents advocate for them, or they will not get the educational services they need. It is understandable that sometimes we take a personal dislike to someone, as some have toward Lou Pelletier. I see him as very brave. He went a whole year waiting for the courts to do the right thing and return Justina to her parents. One year is a long time. He started to see things in the process which raised red flags. After 1 YEAR he decided to "blow the whistle" on what he believed was going on and is truly worried for his daughter's health and welfare. Whether or not I like his personality, I do respect him for advocating for his daughter.

This is the first article published on Justina's plight. We know Lou went to his local FoxNews station to alert them and in hopes that they would cover 'the story'. We know this because he himself said so in at least one of the numerous interviews he has given to media personalities.

The first legitimate news article was published November 19th and the reporter says they have been working on the story for a few months. So much for Lou waiting a year to 'blow the whistle'. In my opinion, he probably alerted them right around the same time he threatened a lawsuit against the residential facility in New Britain, Connecticut if they took Justina.

"It’s a medical “mystery” that has left a Connecticut family baffled and heartbroken.

After a long history of medical problems, a West Hartford teenager is now “trapped” inside a hospital with seemingly no way out.

FOX CT spent the past few months investigating the emotional case.

It has been a bitter custody battle, and nine months after it started, it’s still going on."

WHat that tells me is that they looked into the story before running with it. Makes perfect sense to me.

DCF head Roche quits amid deaths of children
The Lowell Sun
UPDATED: 04/29/2014 11:05:35 AM EDT

"BOSTON (AP) -- The embattled head of Massachusetts' child welfare agency resigned Tuesday under mounting pressure following the deaths of three children, with Gov. Deval Patrick saying it was impossible for her to continue in the job.

Olga Roche's resignation comes after calls from top Democratic lawmakers -- including Massachusetts House Speaker Robert DeLeo and Senate President Therese Murray -- for Roche to be replaced as commissioner of the Department of Children and Families.

"I have accepted her resignation because I believe it is not possible for the agency to move forward in this environment with her at the helm," said John Polanowicz, secretary of the state's Executive Office of Health and Human Services, which oversees the DCF."
