I have to believe that people who don't criticize the family also don't really know the facts, either.
So far, no response to messages left re visits to Justina by priests. I'm not surprised, since my call back times are way out of whack with what these very busy people spend in an office. From informal discussions with local members of the ministry, purely anecdotal and not MSM, priests would not discuss specifics regarding anyone they visited, including if they visited, with a total stranger.
I did read that according to Department of Health officials, "Justina has been able to meet with 'clerical representative' once a week and they claim that she never requested any other religious services, though her family spokesman says that Justina...has not been able to attend Mass in 14 months." http://www.ncregister.com/daily-new...tate-protecting-the-child-or-denying-parenta/
It sounds as though there is a different interpretation of who makes the requests--Justina or Bader 5 team members. It also sounds odd to me that a cr could only see her once a week. Most pastors, or elders, or priests would make the effort to visit more often. Also, a visit is not the same as attending mass. I think a priest might be able to give the sacrament of communion during visits, but was under the impression that confession was part of this. Was the visit one on one or with Bader 5 ever present (there goes confession, IMO)? Could someone clarify this for me? Who was the cr--did the person change on each visit?
I'll check later for the letter referred to in the article above and post its site.
