Will this be the Harambe of 2025?

_______________

In 2018, a shark was stolen and put into a stroller at this aquarium.

And why do they allow kids to pet the octopus???
I love how the Mail puts “EYE CONTACT” in scare capitals. “THE OCTOPUS GLARED AT HIM!”

I also notice that the child seems the least upset about the incident.

To get unstuck from a TikTok story, I'll recommend a good book:

The Soul of an Octopus: A Surprising Exploration into the Wonder of Consciousness

What do you want to bet the “terrified” boy instigated what happened?

Happy to know everyone survived the incident.

Sounds like he has pet the octopus numerous times in the past.

That place has always been kinda sketchy. Hubby took the bored grandkids there and I asked him why and he said, "Because it's cheap and air conditioned". I said, "You know their reputation"

"They cleaned it up. Plus these kids are bored". (Ages 3 and 1)

Hubby would never let kids pet an octopus, plus he swears he didn't see open tanks. But jeez a couple managed to steal a shark from the place. They stole a shark and put it in a stroller.

It's the couple on the upper right. She takes her baby out of the stroller. The dad comes back with something wrapped up in a towel and they leave.

“Family speaks out” about a situation that was barely a situation lol

The way the workers there acted was totally appropriate, not terrifying the child and everyone else around, no one was actually hurt….

Like don’t let your kids touch animals if you’re uppity and uncomfortable with their uncontrollable nature..

A bad review on yelp would have sufficed.

Wild animals are not meant to be petted. The octopus is not domesticated.

Fortunately, he got bruises. It could have been much worse.
