:therethere: You aren't the only one who wants to say bad words right now. IMO

Not at all. I've totally popped off a few expletives out loud in the last 20 minutes... and I'm home alone.

To the poster asking how to post a photo/screen shot:
Go to "reply"
On the bottom there should be 3 pictures - the first is a camera and the second is a picture. Click on that one.
It should open up your photo library and allow you to pick a photo.

**this is on my iPhone but I'm guessing it's similar on a computer**

Hope that helps!

Thanks very much!!!!

It's my opinion that Mr. Dolan is withholding vital, factual information as to WHY these facilities refused to accept Jahi. I believe it's likely these facilities refused after they looked into the situation and, when they received medical documentation outlining Jahi's brain-dead state, declined their initial offer.

Mr. Dolan can blame the media "circus" all he wants, but, as you pointed out, he's partially to blame for the circus. I think there are other, more medically valid, reasons as to why.

BBM.

He's only "partially" to blame because the skeezy uncle can take the other half of the blame.

Agreed. Legally they could be jeopardizing themselves by accepting a legally dead "patient." It's a dangerous situation and I'd be willing to be THAT is the true reason they back out. I seriously doubt the real reason they would back out is free publicity...JMO

How is it that the uncle has a voice in this anyway. I mean she had a father and stepfather, even her g mom. How come he is the only one out, or am I mistaken? Does he have legal say, or is he just running of at the mouth. idk

He's somehow become the family spokesperson. Since one creepy lawyer isn't quite enough, lets toss in a self absorbed money hungry uncle.

Can't believe some folks in the FB page -is that allowed to mention?- are suggesting the mom should not pay the bill from CHO. WTH people.

I dare say that one look at the Stanford neurologist's court declaration would have sufficed to convince most that Jahi is brain dead.

I saw this tweet for Piers Morgan who will have the uncle as a guest tonight.

Jahi McMath's family believes she can come out of her current state after watching Jahi grasp her uncle's hand

It will be interesting to see what he has to say vs Dolan.

Dolan said something along the lines of lets see if CHO send the family a bill.

Of course CHO will send them a bill. AFAIK, when a patient dies, that does not erase the hospital debt, does it? Curious.

Nope, we still received all the bills, including the $70k CareFlight bill when my Grandfather had an aneurysm. My parents removed his life support after it was clear that there was no hope of him regaining consciousness (about 36 hours after he was CareFlighted into Reno).

Faith and hope are all the McMath family has. See me comment on NancyGraceHLN #JahiMcMath

I think everyone is present and accounted for oops we are missing Dr Drew but I am sure he will be covering this tonight too.

I think I saw a tweet that Omari will be on Piers Morgan tonight, too.

Privacy, don'tchaknow.

Omari doesn't get to decide whether she'll need an autopsy.

I'm beginning to agree with an upthread post that Dolan is chosing to avoid the malpractice issue because the family's actions in the PICU after surgery may be contributiong factors to her bleeding and he can't risk having her death attributed to their defiance of the RN orders.

Wouldn't that mean that the family has to settle for the "chump change" of$250,000? After the lawyer takes his cut, there won't be much left for the uncle and other 15 family members that have staked a claim in this fiasco.

Breaking: San Francisco-based attorney, Christopher Dolan, speaking on behalf of the Jahi MacMath's family stated today that she is receiving the best care possible including nutrients and antibiotics and her family is still hoping for her full recovery. When reminded by reporters that Jahi has been issued a death certificate by the state of California, Dolan said: "The people who are caring for Jahi now believe she is a living human being and deserves a chance to heal and by the way the sun revolves around the earth." Dolan went on to condemn NASA in the strongest possible terms for 'perpetuating a science-based agenda that discriminates against the beliefs of those who embrace geocentrism' and announced his intention for suing Galileo for 'acts that led directly to the persecution of hundreds of flat earth society members and deprived them of their 1st amendment rights to freedom of religion.' When reminded that Galileo has been dead since 1642, Dolan instantly replied, "You call him dead, I call him differently-abled!"
