FBI Investigating Email That Could Land Cindy In Jail #2

I just can't figure out what the big deal is about the hairbrush. LE wanted a sample of Caylee's hair and Cindy provided it. Done deal. There is no "right" or "wrong" hairbrush. It's amazing how people can get so worked up over nothing at all.

I was reading through one of Caseys chats...I can't recalll the guys name off hand...it's Illasen, or something? Anyways, in that chat script, covering a few days, Casey refers to Zanny. But I noticed in that chat, she spelt Zannys name differently...once it was zanny, then it was zani...it just seemed odd to me. If I knew someone for 4-6 years, I would know how they spelt their name, and I would consistently spell it the same...It's not like Jeffery and Jeff or Micheal and Mike...it's Zanny and Zani...

SO which is it? Or was casting not quite completed, yet?

Early on in the case, I brought up, jokingly at the time, a movie i had seen where a woman killed her child, told the grandmother all the details and they both confessed. The jury was so confused that they acquitted both of them.
This is starting to not be such an outrageous scenario imo.
Creepy, some things really are stranger than fiction.

Please forgive if the following have been mentioned before and the fact that this post could be placed here, in the recent doc dump, and most certainly in the rants thread. Reasons why I believe that it is probable and yet I dare say hopeful that obstruction charges are filed against CA for the following reasons:

1.) She admits to her brother Rick via several emails that there are things that she cannot tell him about, i.e.: Zani, etc.. (brilliant CA... way to leave us a paper trail)
2.) She has not followed up with or provided LE with any helpful information for months despite claiming at one time to want to be cooperative. (see #1 above)
3.) The hairbrush.... AND writing then about it in an email! (yet another rocket scientist move CA... sorry to all the peeps at the space center & a shout out to my sweet exbf who is one)
4.) Washing KC's clothes from the car... (I'm not even that OCD... they would have gone straight in the trash & not into my clean washing machine)
5.) Pocketing the cash from KC's wallet when the officer wasn't looking. (HELLO... there could have been trace evidence on that cash!)
6.) LA telling LE that he could not be certain that he was providing them with all the receipts... especially the JC Penney receipt from the 27th. (seems like he might have been throwing CA under the bus for that one - see below)
7.) CA refusing to give LE her JC Penney statement. (yea - I know they can get one of those pesky supenoas but why put them through all that if you aren't hiding something?)
8.) Lying to LE about having legal papers drawn up to obtain custody of Caylee.... (seriously? don't you know they are going to find out about this? do you want to be arrested so you can be closer to KC?)

Did I miss anything?

If it were "nothing at all" the FBI wouldn't be looking into it. I'll reserve judgment until I hear the results of their investigation.

According to the recent document dumps. Ca said she would voluntarily bring the pants to LE. She then would not return their calls. LE got a search warrant and retrieved them. LE uses this as an example of another instance in which the Anthony's have not been forthcoming with LE.

Admittedly, as I watched that CA video, my brain was rattling in my head ad threatening to shut down, but didn't she say that "now that Nejame is out of the picture" they can return to helping the FBI?

Does anyone believe Nejame, who admits the grandparents are in denial, stopped them from helping to build a case against Casey? True, he may have advised them to further their end game of not helping, but now that he's resigned, they are willing to help? I think that was "scared talk" from someone who did nothing wrong....

I believe the FBI said something along the lines that they would give the matter the attention it deserves. I doubt we'll hear anything more about it.

I have a feeling the FBI agent was saying 'no big deal' in his own way. This incident did not impair their investigation or OCSO investigatin in any way. they obtained the hair samples they wanted. I just don't think they are going to waste any time on this at all - they have more important things to deal with.
As this little 'tempest in a teapot' did not impact their investigation in any way, shape or form, they are going to ignore it.

Okay true there might not be any official legal ramifications, especially since LE at times has bent over backwards to acknowledge the losses of the Anthony's.
I believe LE has done this at times when it was amazing that they held on to an approach guided by compassion while the Anthony's words worked at ripping the "enlightened" approach, out of the very people who acknowledged their sad circumstances.
That said, I do not see how, with Cindy's explaining this away as the mere failure to walk around to every bathroom, when juxtaposed against her public vow to go to the ends of the earth,
how the heck this new information does not have an overwhelming negative impact on any semblance of credibility she otherwise maintained.

When an incident has a substantial potential to impact the believability of a key lay witness in a pending murder trial, I can't help but view the incident as significant. I think to write off the incident as "nothing at all" belies the intelligence of potential jurors.

It's an example of "following the letter of the law but not the spirit of the law." One would expect CA to aggressively help find Caylee not just comply.

Oh, I'm very sure we WILL. At the very least, it will get the FBI to put a magnifying glass on Cindy's intentions and her actions, which are HIGHLY suspect. Hopefully this is the incident that garners some charges against her. Way past time for that.

I certainly hope Cindy is not arrested prior to the trial. If she has charges pending, she could take the 5th and say nothing on the stand. Without having been arrested, LE now has a hold over her. She will take the stand knowing that if she makes one mis-statemet, utters one mis-truth, she'll leave the courtroom and end up in handcuffs. Unless she is a total idiot, she'll fess up on the stand. But them, I'm the eternal optimist.

CarolinaMoon, I agree with you on this point. Perhaps it is better if CA (or GA) is ever arrested that it is done later. Can you imagine the leverage JB would have if CA got up on the stand and pled the 5th? JB would have an easier time trying to pin this on CA (and the A's), especially since CA was the last person to have Caylee in the presence of a non-Anthony.

I don't understand why there is so much gullibility here as to believe this email is not doctored. Obviously it was put into a paint program with a round paint tool to black out the email addresses. The time zone is obviously missing and the date has been typed in. He isn't too good at doctoring as he has several tries there, 20, 21, 20. He must not have been able to decide which would be more believable. I know how this happened, its happened to me before. He first erased the date. Then when he made his text box he didn't create it big enough for the font size. Sometimes the extra isn't visible until you enlarge the text box. At least that is true with MS Paint. No valid email would have this type of date. The footer is missing also. So, we have header and footer both missing. Sounds like a body with no head or feet to me, a lack of common sense and understanding. He is a vengeful man who was exposed for fraud with trying to obtain money from NBC through the Anthony's. I hope his fraud is addressed in this case too.

Believe NG? She didn't even show the whole email. Of course not, it didn't fit the sensationalism she wanted to portray. As for LP's statement, what kind of honest bouty hunters would hear a statement like that and not report it right away? He is not an honorable man.

Perhaps the sleuthing would be better directed by looking with a critical eye at the actual evidence rather than rumor and media statements. Has anyone noticed that the co-workers Casey claimed to have, that were judged to not exist, do actually exist? The email the detective supposedly followed up on, just hours before her first arrest, did contain actual email addresses that had been valid. The return message from the email server said the accounts had been closed or were no longer active. @universal.com does actual exist too, but @events.universal.com apparantly does not exist. So why didn't he look at the full header and track this down in order to determine who this TF is? Too easy to convict the mother instead? As long as there are these types of questions in my mind I'll give the defendant the benefit of the doubt. Our law says innocent until proven guilty, not hang them now before the real truth can be exposed.

I know this won't be too popular but can anyone dispute, factually, what I am saying?

I don't think the email was doctored for the plain fact that:
1) CA has not claimed that it was doctored, she's claimed "sour grapes", and
2) CA went on TV (from her yard) after the story was on our local news and she added her own spin to the story and gave excuses as to why she gave those brushes to LE and not Caylee's exclusive brush from her bathroom. She never once claimed that the story was not TRUE she just claimed that she did not LIE.

CW, the point is that she deliberately gave them the hairbrush that Casey used also, when she should have given them the hairbrush that was used on Caylee exclusively. What's to figure out? Cindy does these things knowing she is holding back. Why? Ever heard of a lie of omission? Cindy's lies seem to run the gamut.
