FBI Investigating Email That Could Land Cindy In Jail

If a match on the hair in the trunk couldn't absolutely be made to the hair the lab recieved. Cindy's intent here can't be ignored. She flat out did not want the hair in the trunk to match Caylee.

Intent...that's exactly right, Suzi. I think some may be missing the point. It isn't about whether an attempt to make things more difficult or impossible for LE was successful, or whether LE could have gotten the sample some other way. It is Cindy's act (or non-act) and her intent that is the potential obstruction.

Even if LE had 100 Caylee hairs with full roots sitting in the lab, Cindy doesn't have a right to attempt to thwart or delay LE's efforts and requests. In fact, this particular instance could actually have been a test of Cindy's truthfulness and cooperation by the FBI, just to gauge how much (if at all) they could trust her to truly help in the investigation. Something to consider, anyway.

I'm guessing that LE/SA will want to avoid being seen as piling on the grief-stricken grandparents, so Cindy will get a pass. However, something's telling me that there's more Cindy's done than we're aware of right now. Maybe she's even done something so egregious that LE can't let it pass. Time will tell.

CA tells WFTV Channel 9 :

"I'm not afraid of getting arrested".

More to come on the 11pm local news...

That's because she thinks no one in jail is a bigger bully than she is. And she's probably right!

According to Cindy, lying and telling mis-truths isn't a crime. I wonder if someone is going to explain to her, using small words so that she can understand, that yes, Cindy, lying and telling mis-truths IS a crime.

First of all, whoa, she actually talked to WFTV? Ha! Second of all, good, she shouldn't be scared, because hopefully she will be arrested. JMO of course.

OK all you legal eagles! What are the degrees of obstruction that could let off a greiving grandmother. I didn't understand why the reporter would say this. Isn't obstuction just that no matter how it is portrayed?

Indeed it is - or at least it always has been. The Grieving Grandmother pass is something new.

No thanks, I will read about it here. I refused to sit and listen to the latest dump of interviews. I got a headache today just watching and listening to the hearing.

Truth be told, I hold the media, WFTV who released the email today, responsible for most if not all of this heated discussion. If they wanted revenge or whatever against the A's, then release the entire email, redact what needs to be and let the intelligence of its readers make a determination. Instead they release snippits of emails and videos or ask the A's fluff questions.

Teasers is all the media has become and we all argue about what the meaning of snippets are. Some information is easy to figure out. Not rocket science but other releases are incomplete and it is frustrating at best, to attempt to read 'tween the lines.

I sometimes feel like we've become trained barnyard animals who stampede to the trough every time the Anthonys, et al, arrive with fresh buckets of slop to feed us.

She probably thinks that because she is now a pseudo celebrity, she would be put in a sequestered cell next to KC.

So does this mean that the hair they used to compare with the hair (with death rings) in trunk was not Caylees hair????? Is this why they could not verify if it matched KC or Caylee (other then one is definately alive)? Woooahhhh

What I remember her saying was "If I wanted to just get rid of her, I would have left her with my mother."

I remember KC saying that, was it at Universal when they started questioning her?

I think they knew something was "going on", but didn't take it seriously enough to get past Casey's manipulations initally and only got concerned as time went on without seeing Caylee. Further, Casey is (and it pains me to say this) Caylee's legal parent regardless of if she was living in the Anthony home. And she's over the age of 18, soon to be 23 in March, and other that kicking Casey (and their granddaughter) to the curb or taking custody of Caylee themselves, their rights were limited. Technically, Casey could have sent Caylee off with whomever she wanted to without their permission.
She certainly could, and if she had done that, we'd know by now because Casey would have identified the real individual if it meant she would not have to spend an indefinite period of time incarcerated.

Can someone tell me the difference between a MISTRUTH and a LIE?

Little miss small time social butterfly I'm sure is having social withdraws in jail. You would think mommy & daddy would want to go give her longing looks and words of hope. i,m being cockey right now. I think we can all be assured CA's parents have taken a break from her since home arrest.

I heard somewhere and can't recall where, that the reason they aren't visiting is they don't want their visits recorded.

HA HA HA
 Ain't that the truth!

Why wouldn't she give them the hairbrush she used exclusively for Caylee, since apparently one exists? For what reason would she substitute a different brush? It's not as if she wouldn't get it back once the trial is over. Even if she wasn't thinking at the time and realized later that there was a second, more pertinent hairbrush, why not give it then?

If Cindy believes that Caylee is alive, there is no reason for her to have withheld hair samples. For all she knew, they might not have matched the death hair and would serve to exonerate her daughter.

If Cindy had thought Caylee was alive I think she would have given LE the right hairbrush.

Since I do believe George and Cindy loved Caylee, their defense of Casey says they have given up all hope. LG's revelation shows they knew Caylee was gone early in the case.

I don't think Cindy would be as careless about what she gave LE if she believed Caylee's life depended upon accuracy. I don't even think she would be as lax if someone other than Casey was the suspect.

IMO

I'm not buying that at all. Who cares if your visits are recorded, if you are just there to offer love and support. They don't HAVE to talk about the case.

“I never Lied, I just never went to my bathroom to get the brush that only Caylee used!”
A grandmother that is desperately searching for an Alive Caylee and accusing the FBI and OCLE of not doing their job, could not retrieve a hairbrush that “only” caylee used.

Forget about motives in protecting KC, or that the FBI/LE did not ask her for a brush that only Caylee used. Why would you NOT give them a brush that you KNEW ONLY Caylee used so that they could investigate the hair samples found in the trunk to RULE OUT that it was your granddaughter that you so STRONGLY believe is ALIVE! Just does not make any sense to me, if you TRULY believed in your daughter’s innocence and that your granddaughter was alive.
