FBI Investigating Email That Could Land Cindy In Jail

If she had been a single, uneducated, unemployed young mother from the inner city, instead of an married, middle-aged, educated, professional woman from the burbs she would have been charged with obstructing justice a long time ago, no matter her loss. Happens all the time.

I'm a married, middle-aged, educated, professional woman from the burbs and they would have thrown ME in the slammer by now!!!!! Why does this family continue to avoid the law?? This case will go down in the history books for SURE - :bang:

I am handing out TO's right and left for rude, argumentative and name calling posts. Those of you who need to chill out, do so now.

Isn't this just like Cindy... Still covering KC's a$$! I soooooooooooooooo don't like this woman! Maybe they will put her in a cell with KC

Weren't they doing the mitochondrial dna with the brush was that for the hair sample that was found in the car? Either way wouldn't the DNA be similar to Caseys since she's the mother? Would that be any different?

After George left for work, Cindy also went back to work "for an hour or two," according to her interview with FBI.

That was brand new information to me!

If she lied about going back to work, then she had at least 2 hours at home alone, to...explore the yard?

Sorry, this isn't the right thread.

Thanks for the reminder, I keep meaning to ask if the epass and ping records support that she went to work?

Is it an excessive amount of motherly love that makes CA try so hard to obstruct the facts
OR....is it something more???
As far as how she looks... I have found it depends on what day of the week you see her. I have noticed that she tries to looks sad but every now and then it looks like she is trying her best not to let a smile escape.
This is really interesting, I have a feeling that LG can prove that the e-mail is from her and is smart enough to know that LE will check.
If it were my grandchild I would have given them every brush in the house.
It is so obvious that she is in cover up mode and has been all along.
I am sick of it.
I agree! If that were my grandchild I would have given them the brush, and also something for TES to help in the search. I would have also taken a polygraph so they could move on. But that is what normal innocent people do.

No kidding. He whines like a kid. Then he complains about how much he is being charged for copies of docs. It happens all the time, where has he been? He is not a court appointed attorney as in "If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you."
Jeez o pete!

Please listen to the 911 tapes again and tell me what the first things mentioned were. Tell me how long it takes her to even bring up Caylee being missing. This was not three 911 calls which tell me that she was this grandmother longing to hold her granddaughter. They were 3 calls in a rage over money and a car. Caylee was an afterthought.

:clap::clap::clap:

The more I read Cindy's email, the less incriminating it looks. Basically she's saying she gave LE a hair brush with Caylee's hair in it, but not the brush that was used exclusively for Caylee. So what?

It really is Garrison's email that concerns me. He comes across like a spurned twelve year old -- I think Cindy is on meds. Cindy keeps writing me. I think Cindy is afraid of what I know. I'm telling you this because you're my friend. This is the real reason I quit. I have plenty more to say. -- Very childish.

How would telling Garrison that she gave LE 'this' brush instead of 'that' brush downplay the hair evidence? Cindy could have made the comment to Garrison at some point that she gave LE brush A and that, when things calmed down, she realized she probably should have given them brush B instead.

I think Garrison's motive in releasing this email is the biggest concern.

I don't see why Cindy would be discussing a hairbrush she gave LE unless it was a concern.

I think a parent/grandparent would automatically give the best possible reference sample.

What impact can/does this have to her potential testimony at trial? If they charge her for obstruction, can't she plead the 5th and not answer questions?

I'm not sure if that was the labs intent, but that was the result. They could not narrow the hair down further than it belonged to a female member of that family. Can they use other Caylee dna for comparison or do they need hair. I would think so. The below linked article says:

The email says Cindy gave investigators the wrong hairbrush when they asked for Caylee's brush in late July to compare DNA from her hair to the hair they found in Casey's trunk, where it smelled of death.

Now I'm wondering about that toothbrush.

Yes, but there are some people who will make the slightest little thing into the worst possible scenario, and place "intent" where there was none.

Cindy Anthony will not be going to jail or be charged with obstructing justice.

If she doesn't learn to control her mouth she will definitely
end up in jail. Lieing to the FBI, lieing to OSCO, is not the
way to stay out of jail.

Oh sure charge larry for not coming clean but leave the kid gloves on for the anthonys for not coming clean.

Oh, I think you misunderstood me. I asked about Larry being in trouble TOO (meaning also in trouble). I agree 110% that Cindy has more than once skirted the law in this case, and should be held accountable like anyone else.

Put this along side of GA in the new interviews talking about how bad the car smelled and how he thought it might be Caylee or KC in the trunk and his experience of being an ex-cop and had smelled decomp before but went to work and DIDN'T IMMEDIATELY CALL 911 right then and there--
Thanksgiving or not GrandParents or not - I hope they are fully investigated.

I caught that piece of titbit too.
