I did miss you....lol.

Mr.Burke is now being investigated by the FBI for his role in the beating of the guy who stole his bag out of his car.

Do you think the FBI is bothering to investigate a cop giving a guy a beating with no appreciable damage. It all goes back to what was really in the bag.

You heard from the FEDS. Do you think they will head down to the jail after Burke is investigated? Is this anything more than show casing?

I agree with you on this, the Feds are interested in a lot more than Burke giving some dumb kid a tune up.

Baloney messed up big time by naming this guy Chief of Department. Then again we all know he is a puppet of the PBA.

and hawk's sweetest dreams come true.

omg

"An FBI investigation is not only probing more deeply into claims that the chief of one of the country’s largest police departments beat up a defenseless suspect, but it may be moving closer to answering unresolved questions that could show that the chief committed further, worse crimes than those of which he’s currently accused."

The investigation into Burke's actions was launched by the civil rights division of the FBI office in Manhattan and federal prosecutors in Brooklyn at the civil rights division of the United States attorney for the Eastern District, the sources said.

The FBI and the U.S. attorney's office for the Eastern District declined to comment on the investigation.

Suffolk Police Commissioner Ed Webber and Burke declined to comment. Last week, Burke denied any wrongdoing.

Great quote ... very pertinent to the topic at hand

LIN - The FBI is otherwise engaged with investigating SCPD Chief of Department James Burke. Burke, by virtue of his authority and the authority of his friend the Chief of Detectives head up the command that is investigating Gilgo.

While The FBI and several media outlets have not said there was anything in the duffel bag, I think even a blind man would think after watching wpix coverage on this matter can come to a conclusion something very bad was in that bag. If it was sexually related material I think it can explain why the Gilgo investigation is at a standstill.

Im not surprised. Would you want to go up against the "Blue Mafia"? Because I sure wouldent ...

I hope this young man gets good representation and a fair trail.

I hope the kid gets forced into a good drug treatment program.

And,
I hope the allegations against the Chief are THOROUGHLY investigated.
I am not a cop hater. Many of my family members were police officers. who I am against are DIRTY cops.
And if this man is a dirty cop, he is EXTREMELY dangerous to his fellow officers and the community he has sworn to protect and I hope they nail his axx.

Was his gun in the gun belt? Or was it just the belt?
