Seems less like mental illness and more like average everyday common Male Entitlement. Especially bad in positions of authority in sports related fields and academics. He wanted to live the lifestyle of a player. Didn't ever think about how it would feel if someone was doing his daughter, wife, or sister that way. SELFISH & TOXIC. "I work hard, I'm so good at my job, I DESERVE a cute assistant who I can have sex with. It's MY RIGHT AS A MAN of intelligence and worth..." Common trope in American culture. And certain politicians want to complain about women are forgoing marriage in large numbers...who wants to get married when THIS MESS can happen. His hubris screwed up his wife and daughters' futures, to put it kindly.

If I had the misfortune of being his wife, I would have kicked him to the curb by now. MOO.

Amazing how Moore managed to blame his girlfriend for everything that went wrong.

From the article that @mickey2942 posted:

Snipped by me.

I'm going to kill myself,' he told the alleged victim, as quoted by assistant prosecutor Kati Rezmierski on Friday. 'I'm going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You ruined my life.'

Completely unhinged. I hope he saved his money. Because I don't see him getting a job any time soon. He has a lot of problems.

I'm wondering how he even GOT this job in the first place! Does he have a history of acting this way elsewhere?

Yeah, he probably thought he could buy his way out of it, whatever "it" was.

"A judge in the Ann Arbor area set a hearing for Thursday to get an update on the case, six weeks after Moore was fired and arrested. The next step would be to schedule another hearing to determine if there's enough evidence to order a trial on the felony charge."

An attorney for former University of Michigan Football Coach Sherrone Moore on Thursday said she'll seek to have the criminal charges against her client dismissed, saying they're based on "false and misleading statements."

Speaking to reporters after a brief court hearing in Ann Arbor's 14A District Court, where she sought phone and UM Title IX records in the criminal case against Moore, Ellen Michaels asserted Moore's innocence. She said she has filed a motion to quash Moore’s arrest warrant and a motion to dismiss the complaint against him.

A motion to quash means the attorney believes an arrest was not valid, and that any evidence taken as a result of that arrest should be suppressed.

“This warrant was issued based on false and misleading statements presented as fact," Michaels said. "We’re confident the truth will come out in court, under oath, where it belongs.”

Moore was named UM's head football coach in January of 2024, succeeding former coach Jim Harbaugh.

His firing and subsequent criminal charges mark the latest scandal against the UM football program. Harbaugh was suspended for three games in late 2023 after an investigation into sign-stealing involving former staffer Connor Stalions.

And former co-offensive coordinator Matt Weiss was fired in 2023 because of a federal computer hacking criminal case that alleges he infiltrated the personal accounts of thousands of college athletes and stole intimate photographs and videos from 2015-23.
